How well was Mikami received? His manga seem ok, but not really outstanding and ZKC seems to have a lot of unneeded chapters - just like Strongest Discipline Kenichi.

That is only Shonen Jump, right? This is into 4 magazines. If in average every magazine have the same number of new series as Shonen Jump, than it would be 48 new series each year, right? So 7 more titles than normal, but the thing is, does Sunday has that average in their magazines?

Huh. Has the story played out properly, or is it a rushed ending? Because it doesn't seem to be near a satisfying conclusion where the scans are currently at (though it's possible they're lagging behind).

I think the scans for Again!! are a good 30-40 chapters behind so hopefully the series reaches a satisfying conclusion in that time. I really like Kubo Mitsurou's work so I hope she starts a new series soon.

Given how much the story has degraded (not that it was that good to begin with, but it was at least amusing/cute), it's about time it ends. The ending probably won't be satisfying in any way, though, considering there are only a dozen chapters or so left to wrap things up. Then again, the story lost all of its flair when it stopped being about the date sim god romancing various girls to exorcise the spirits inside of them.
P.S. Ayumi sucks. Chihiro should've been the one that had the final goddess…

Is it your typical ecchi/ harem series?! And is it worth it?! I have been meaning to check it out for some time now given it's popularity on manga sites.

It is a harem, but I wouldn't say that it's typical. For one, very few of the girls show up again after their arc has ran its course. Keima is also very different from your average harem lead, in that he merely sees romancing the girls as a means to an end (fulfilling his contract/not getting killed). He does care about them as people, but is not really interested in them romantically.
As for whether or not it's worth your time… I'd say read until after he's done romancing the first girl and see if you like it. After the first girl, the cycle repeats about a dozen times, then it switches over to something slightly different, but less entertaining, since the plot starts to take itself too seriously with the elements it introduces. It was a pretty fun read when it was just the antisocial gamer romancing girls, but once it tried to be more, it got boring...

It is comedy-oriented action series; it isn't dark and serious story.
You basically think of it as the comedy version of Ultraman where people think Ultraman is also an evil monster.
