Nggghghghgh
I really want to be here behind Akainu all the way.
But looks like the match won't be starting until late and I have to be travelling early tomorrow morning :/
I wish I had Luffy timing powers :/
-
The only thing I can see is a fine gentleman correcting his fabulous hair.
His hair stylist really did absolute justice to that hair. Now if only his new beard would burn off in a tragic magmafight accident.
-
D:
The sexy beard?
The too-busy-to-shave beard?
How could you … ? :(
-
Somehow, this is relevant.

Oh shi…
Unfortunatly I'll be sick that day. Can't be here, sorry!

Have you been hanging out with Usopp? I heard his can't-vote-in-tournament-round disease is very contagious.
-
Its amazing how fluid this tournament can be year to year. Last year's semi-finalists are 0/3 so far, and Croc hasn't had his match yet.
Though oddly enough, last year's LOSING Quarter finalists are looking pretty good, with Nami and Whitebeard in, and Zoro and Enel yet to go (but in my mind, both are favored in their matches)

Luffy lost
Usopp lost
And Law lost.AP doesn't love me no more.

Out with the old.

Was not expecting Hattori to lose, I take it that were this match to happen when the Hattori thread was at it's full swing, then he'd steamroll through the match.
Well there's not much to say but congratulate the Monet camp, even when the character isn't that deep or important, but then again, and sorry for saying this Nia, neither was Hattori. Which I'm not saying is a bad thing.
About the Ace vs. Akainu match though…..talk about a handicap match. On the one hand you have Ace, who'se been hated on in the tournament for his (rather dumb in my opinion) sacrifice right at the moment of victory, on the other you have Akainu, who seems to be the least popular Admiral these days, for some reason. Maybe the people somehow don't like his "crusader" type mentality ?
Anyway will be realy interested to see how that goes.

@Light:
Don't be modest, it's because of you guys! Even if I didn't want them to win their matches I do give my respect to your passion and campaigning skills! Maybe I can reach that level one day…
! Who wants some Dellinger-cookies? :ninja:
You already have better editing skill than mine.
But thanks. -
I think this match will be an easy win for Akainu but I'll try supporting Ace anyway. I didn't prepare anything good, I'll just look at what I already have on my pc and put it on. :/
-
many people don't like Ace, because they associate Ace with his fandom too much. And sometimes I think "who can blame them".

I don´t care much about Ace but I see him as a guy who boasts but has nothing behind his balls while Akainu is a man who gets shizz done. A lot of people might see it the same way.
-
Thanks to everyone who voted for Hattori, by the way. You guys are awesome
GO MONET GO!

I've never even seen this notorious fandom of Ace's, or if I have I've never found it obnoxious (I imagine it's on tumblr or something? They go crazy for a lot of characters). I like Ace for the fact that he's like a caricature of what a kid would think is cool, in a way that I as an adult can also find cool, due to him having silly traits like the falling asleep whenever. Even if he did have an obnoxious fanbase, I'd suggest people just separate him from that, in the way that you can enjoy World of Warcraft without being the stereotype of Cheetos, Mountain Dew, and living in the basement as your body molds to the chair.

just gonna drop this off here

Croc will have a tough fight against Smoker. Does AP support Smoker? I mean, he's awesome. What's not to like about him?
-
Smoker's got support, though its usually more silent than the support for Crocodile here at AP.
BUT it seems this year those silent supporters are helping a huge amount.
Ones that usually go farther (Usopp, Hattori) are out in the first round, so Smoker's got a good chance this year, esp considering his recent appearance has helped bolster his support -
Smoker may have a few fans here and there, but AP loves its Croco-boy. I have no doubt that he's going to win this.

That's what I thought about Hattori :ninja:
Well Croco-boy is the one getting my vote.
Sorry Smo, but I've always voted -and will vote for (unless he was to go against Usopp - which wont happen this year ;_;) -for the Croc -
Seems Akainu broke away from the losing Admiral tradition [then again, he IS fleet-admiral now]…and it seems another one of my sig picks is out :(
-
Well, I'm conflicted with the Croc vs Smoker match as well. They've always been some of my top favorites, and I like them both about equal. I wish this were a semifinal match instead.
I think I'll be supporting Croc on this one. He slightly edges out Smoker on this one because of Croc is still more of a pure villain than Smoker, and a villain hasn't won the tournament yet, which would be cool to see.

Got your campaigns ready, Moriah fans?
-
This post is deleted!
-
^he's gonna make it anyway.
Too bad the crazy doc lost. I would've loved to see him in the second round.

Well, Hiruluk lost but I can honestly say I was surprised he actually did so well against Buggy. Was conflicted myself because I actually like Buggy a lot too :D
Let's gooooo KAKU!
-
I only just now realized that i will be in Paris on the day of Cavendish's match. So please my fellow Cavendish supporters. Make sure he will win!

It will be an upright struggle against someone like Enel, but I'll see if I can fix something up.
-
Really looking forward to the next match. Not that the current one is any less exiting, but Magellan!
-
If only Kaku would pull a Jinbe…

I'm really looking forward to the match after the Magellan match. Smoker or Crocodile.

Dammit Cavendish loses a good campaigner. though, the Cavendish fellowship will do the best possible.
-
Changing my avatar to celebrate Moria's inevitable victory!
KISHISHIYEAHHH!! -
And yet, another great match, good job AP forums.
This tournament is fun already, but with those kind of matches…makes it even better.
We have hype, we have flashback, we have it all.
-
Someone should start the next match before it gets too late.
-
So many close matches this year ;)
-
oh god can i just say i love these campaigns you guys are making..
especially moriah campaign.. that blew me away.. :p
-
Did i miss something, or was a match skipped?
-
Ahh, seems I missed some good matches
Glad Akainu made it :D
-
@Venomous:

26. Crocodile vs. Smoker
27. Kinemon vs MagellanI don't know what you're talking about. :ninja:
-
Uh … was there actually any reason those two matches were swapped?
-
and here i was waiting 2 hours for it to start… slinks back to his chamber

You can still finish some outstanding last-minute campaigns with the time that you have~

Sooo many tight matches, looks like things will be interesting this year.
