Anybody up for a friendly wager, Arlong Park? This bet will only involve Monet, since Vergo very well may still be alive considering all we saw was an explosion.
Over the course of the next few weeks we can have some lively argument about it, and when someone is firmly decided they can put their name on a list, of which there will be two: Dead; Not Dead.
Remember, we are betting on if this wound is fatal. If that fact is confirmed in any sort of way, the dead camp wins.
Note: It wasn't explicitly mentioned earlier, bu you can change your vote oncer per day, if you so desire. All votes are locked in place the minute a spoiler thread is opened and remain so until the chapter has come out in SJA. Now I know this seems like a big timeframe, but the time we get a new chapter SJA will be caught up and will have a simultaneous release with Japan so it'll be like a 5 day gap.
I myself will be reading Alpha only once it is caught up, so I am also asking that if the answer is revealed, but Alpha is not out, please spoiler tag the discussion.
When we eventually find out the answer, the losing side will all have to change their signatures or avatars to something dumb and embarrassing…

The win/lose terms are as follows:
- We have to know definitively, or if she is not seen or mentioned to alive after the next cover story begins, the dead camp wins.
- If Monet dies from this wound the dead camp wins. This includes if she is alive when Doflamingo shows up, he tries to take her back to Dressrosa to be saved but she dies there or on the way of this wound. If Dofla shows up and says "Yup, this wound. is fatal, let me ease your suffering" this counts as well. If Monet sits up and says "Doflamingo, are you there. I'm dying from this wound I have, but I'm going to take everyone with me push button this counts for dead.
- Any situation where this wound is not fatal to Monet, the not-dead camp wins.
