Ah…Just reminded me why I dislike most poetry. I hope some of these were lost in translations, they sound like someone who's convinced themselves that they are deep and thoughtful. That anything that falls out of their mouths is gold.

Then Kabuto is told, why Mother didn't recognize him, and that was because she was given a target picture(from Root) in which Kabuto looked more mature so the faces differed. So that's why she didn't know. -

Unfortunately, some of these translation go for the literal and lose a lot of the poetic nuances, like the volume 13 poem, but then there are some that are too flowery like 29, and even then, the English still can't always completely capture the original, but overall the volume poems are pretty enjoyable. The earlier poems v. 3-10 are some of the best because they highlight emotional paradoxes like the sky and the ground being unable to connect, and the repelling of dissimilar qualities. I also really like later volume poems like 44 and 48 for the relation to the characters on the cover. They are also based on or about the character on the cover so that's also a cool aspect about the volumes.

yeah, I agree with you.. never a fan of poem but the one in the earlier volumes were nice.

Yeah. A lot of the ones dedicated to the arrancar kinda fall flat since there isn't much emotional development for shallow villain characters like Luppi. But early on, when the poems are dedicated to the heroes, and coincide with their early appearances in the story, there's a little more beauty and emotion to be had. Both of Orihime's are two of my favorites, along with Hitsugaya's and Hanatarou's in the SS arc.

Naruto has yet another boring ass chapter.
That reasoning is dumb as fuck. But it doesn't surprise me that Kishi actually went ahead with it, since he wrote something even dumber before (the whole bullshit with Kabuto not being able to bring Jiraiya's body from the depth of a fucking lake. He can find traces of a guy who blew himself up and everything in a radius of 10 km around him, but can't bring Jiraiya's body?)

Yeah, just wanted a honest opinion about these poems. I don't particularly care about them, infact I did not even notice them much when reading, but there are some bleach fans who said that because Kubo composes such great poems, he is one of the best writers ever. Imo, the poems do nothing to change the fact that bleach is a pretty bad series.
Anyway, from the Naruto spoilers, it looks like another bad chapter. Also, since spoilers are being released, does this mean the chapters are going to come out early ??

Well if someone is trying to manipulate the populace… then yeah... someone actually intelligent is a problem. If Kabuto ever got some footing behind him, he could form a rebellion (with crappy ninja).
That said... I don't think there's really anything that should be hidden in the Rock village? If there was... why would you send ninja there to steal information from them and hope they don't stumble on it.

Seriously, is that the only way Kubo knows how to depict the arrival of an unknown character, by drawing their foot? I mean, I don't even know why their foot specifically.
I guess it's symbolic since they've arrived at the scene and people travel with their feet. But hey, by that logic why not draw their hands since they're dipping their fingers into the pie. Or why not their butt since they're butting in.
As for the square fingers, I think it's meant to look that way due to his power-up. But there's still no reason for them to look flat like that.
