I guarentee I've been getting out more and experiencing more of life than you recently.
In conclusion, shut up.
Urgh. Yeah let's compare lives through the Internet, you massive dork.

Looks like a very nice scan&translation. Great chapter this time !
Am I wrong if I say that Luffy visibly showed his rubber powers for the first time during the tournament on this page: http://www.mangapanda.com/one-piece/718/18? No one from the audience seemed to notice the oddness of his ability though.
They got the missing pages and the quality is much better. Though i liked the translation from chinese slightly better (with some exceptions).
btw, was there a pandaman in this one?
And I can tell you why. That translation was stolen from a member here, and this time, it's their own translation.
Though i liked the translation from chinese slightly better (with some exceptions).
Because they stole it from a guy here.
mangapanda should do a apforum alliance! mangapanda x apforums! somebody contact them :-P
Urgh. Yeah let's compare lives through the Internet, you massive dork.
lol at the guy playing the "huh huh get out nerds" card whining when someone does it to him
Only problem with this chapter is we don't knwo where Fujji and CC are. Other than that I loved it, I do wonder how they'll defeat Jora? I'm hoping for Brook to pull some netherworld shit out of nowhere!
Not gonna read mangapanda anymore, sick of their crap scans and especially what they pulled this week. Just waiting for mangastream to read the chapter.
Agreed with the Monkey in something, there should be only one person allow to create the chapter threads and that person have to be known to the forum and not some random dude, so all this MP paying speculation can go away.
Now, I was thinking shouldn't Violet Devil Fruit be the weakness to the Art 2x, I mean she can turn anything into art (objects, human, etc) but I don't think she is able to turn thoughts into art, right, we saw Violet materialize tears and that's an attack that comes from the inside out and not an attack based on a body movement such as a punch, a kick, an object or slash, so Violet being very effective against the Art fruit sounds pretty likely to me
From the "boom" on Law's side of the Den Den Mushi, I'm guessing Fujitora is still throwing stuff at him from somewhere.

No pal, you've lost yourself. See, I was suggesting that people need to 'get out more' because it's cagey, insular and rude to attack a guy for doing everyone what he thought was a solid simply because he wasn't following the past 12 hours of AP forum intrigue or whatever. You decided to assure me of the richness of your extra-Internet lifestyle. I'm, uh, sure you get out heaps.
This is the worst chapter ever for reasons beyond its grasp and control.

Majority of people only knows a boy Monkey D. Luffy is son of Dragon and Garp's grandson that's it… I don't think people know what Luffy looks like(ex the 8m giant) so it's not surprising they don't know his Devilfruit ability..

Oh shit! you don't say, why don't you fly in and take me out and show me that ingenious lifestyle of yours? Huh?
@Jewelery:
Haha, so funny how mad people are getting at this whole thing
most people are trollolololololol'ing
Oh come on, why are people getting so defensive here. Just because someone said to get out more?

…... What ....... ?
Debates about having a full and rich offline life on a manga forum. Yeah.
Though given what Zephos has recently posted elsewhere here, you'd be wrong in assuming paying attention to what happens here means you can't have an interesting life. We only ever see what people post here, so we have no way of knowing what people get up to the rest of the time. So these kinds of low-blows really are kinda laughable. The moral high ground, let me show you it, right? XD
If it were me and I'd seen no-one had linked the chapter yet, I'd probably look up why because it seems odd. Especially given the rush of people trying to post each new chapter thread (I'm with Zephos on the limiting thread creation for these, if at all possible). I guess people may not have the time for that, but if they screw up, it's only fair they are told that they screwed up and why.
Oh come on, why are people getting so defensive here. Just because someone said to get out more?
Well, you know, they're all leading very rich lives, and they're very intent on explaining that to me. I respect their right to scramble all over each other desperately trying to assure me that they do, in fact, get out more. And you know, I believe them. I mean, it's cool. Let them have just this one thing.

Yeah, sure, fair enough. I just thought people were going a bit overboard.

I''m just annoyed about the constant bickering over Manga Panda being scum sucking hacks, and whether or not this forum is justified in trying to keep a lid on the chinese leak. It's been going on since Friday and I'm sick of hearing about it.
so is this the real thing? I've avoided spoilers this time and I only wanna read the real thing.
I liked this chapter. All the elements of this arc are coming together quite nicely, the thunderous soldier of rage is allied with the dwarves and everyone is headed towards the arena. I hope we at least see Block D before they crash the games but I doubt we'll see much of the finals since Oda may want to keep Burgess' strength unknown for now.
I also hope that Nami and the others manage to defeat Jora before Zoro shows up, or at least force her to retreat. Zoro was one of the only strawhats who got a fight last arc, he doesn't really need another one so soon. I do like how Oda's been drawing the things that are under the effect of Jora's fruit. They look really cool, and I doubt any other manga artist would draw in such a radically different style for a relatively minor aspect of the story. I just think it's really interesting and i'd like for more of Jora's creations to appear.
I don't like how Oda is depicting Law's fight with Dofla and Fujitora though. I know Oda likely doesn't want to reveal the extent of their strength just yet but the brief flashes we get of the battle seem like such a tease, especially since they all follow the same formula of Law bloodied and trying to get help before being shut up by Doflamingo, without us actually seeing anything of what's going on. I know that Doflamingo and Fujitora will probably get more in-depth fights later on but I was hoping that we'd get more information on their Devil Fruits through this battle.

Yes please let us get back to the discussion of the chapter proper. We should be glad that we even have One Piece to read (whether its bad quality or not; and please, there is no such thing as an "official release" because we all know JUMP has been trying hard to ban all these mangas from being scanlated online - the US ban on mangareader, etc) because in some countries you probably wont get the chapter until the next One piece comic/manga book (compilation of a few chapters) comes out, which may be at least a few months after the initial release from JUMP. As for the chapter what good is it going to do to Law if they bring the ship to him ? Even if he hands Nami and co Caesar, Doflamingo is still there and can easily take them out together
I don't like how Oda is depicting Law's fight with Dofla and Fujitora though. I agree to some extent but we all know at some point Luffy will beat Doflamingo in this arc or the next. So if we know he has a wire wire no mi OR string string no mi OR whatever then we know it's basically gonna be Luffy fighting invisible/hard to see strings. Not showing Fujitora is more of a mystery, as he is supposed to be an admiral yet we haven't seen him do anything above or beyond Luffy and Law's own destructive abilities. I was definitely disappointed in not seeing the fight until someone pointed out that it would leave little mystery besides the exact way Luffy would beat Doflamingo.
Law's still getting his ass kicked, that's all I needed to know.
Well, you know, they're all leading very rich lives, and they're very intent on explaining that to me. Loved this reply and also think the other members of the forum just missed your point and are behaving like 10 year olds with this and all the mangapanda thing.
so is this the real thing? I've avoided spoilers this time and I only wanna read the real thing.
The real RAW is out already but the best advice I can give is to wait for mangastream. This week is extra worth it.

I can kinda see what people say abaut the international releases but I agree with you all the mangapanda thing this week has been ridiculous.

Oh, the worst chapter THREAD. Okay.

I guess so and I understand that Oda wants to leave some mysteries for their later fights, which is probably why Fujitora hasn't actually been shown since the fight began but I thought that we would get some small hints towards their abilities, even if most things remained a mystery. I think i'd be less annoyed if we didn't get any scenes of the battle though. Since it just feels like he's teasing us with this big fight between 3 incredibly high strength characters but we don't get to see any of it. Although I expect I'll have changed my tune by Luffy's fight with Doflamingo.
Well, you know, they're all leading very rich lives, and they're very intent on explaining that to me. sarcasm didn't translate to you obviooooussssllly.
Anyway, I didn't look at mangapanda's site, but is it actually the raw from ap's raw provider?
And I still want to know if Chopper did that damage with bunny hands? He was already transformed to art before he did horn point, so I'm wondering.
So the missing pages was Law telling them to go to Green Bit for Caesar! (I guess, since I didn't get it from reading it the first time!)
Zoro should really hurry! Or maybe they'll send some Dwarfs, since they're so fast?
I think Don Chinjao is using haki on his belly if you look really closely at the last panel. It looks similair to how Vergo was colored in his haki beast form.
It's completely black with white edges for the shiny effect.
I'm really dying to know why the dwarves are leading the movement against Doflamingo…..I get their opposition has been around for centuries but.....hmmm....
OK. Thoughts on this chapter.
Cover story: I got nothin’. If you know or care where this is going let me know.
It appears the dwarves have a tunnel into Dressrosa. Very convenient. I imagine by next chapter we will have Usopp and co. meeting with the rest under the flower field. The various devil fruit reveals don’t do anything for me until I see them in action. Although, LOL at panda’s ‘corn’ express. How very midwestern of you!
Robin gets a lead on the void century for the first time ever, on screen at least. This is probably the most significant part of the chapter on the long run. It’s still a tease though. No idea how this connects with the world view we have so far. But it is interesting that Norland has connections to 2 societies who fought or are still fighting the world government and its proxies like Mingo. Food for thought. As far as I know Norland had no such motivations. Perhaps he unknowingly participated in this?
It’s finally revealed that the flower fields are the HQ of the resistance army. So no factory there. The two factories idea goes the way of the dodo. I wonder if there is a tunnel to the factory? It seems too convenient. Plus wouldn’t Mingo’s men find it if there was such a tunnel. Which brings about the question, how will they reach the coliseum? Wouldn’t be tedious for Franky to go back exactly the way he came?
I’m not too happy with the prospect of either Zoro or Franky going to aid Nami and co. But it may happen. I wonder if Wicca is healed? If she isn’t the chances of an encounter with Chopper increases. So here hoping Dwarves got some serious MDs. Also Oda a Street Fighter fan? What’s with the Zangief look alike :) .
Which brings me to the Sunny. I’m relieved that Jora’s sub and men are destroyed. Because now it’s in Jora’s interest to keep Sunny floating. Which is as good as it gets plot armor wise. So all SHs on sunny have their weapons "artified". How will they react? What does monster point bunny hands look like? More importantly do they hurt old women? I’m happy Law called to give them a mission. Recapturing CC is the best protection against being saved by other SHs.
The law Mingo interaction gives more hints toward the toy maker and SMILE factory being in or under the coliseum. It appears Doffy wants to get rid of all the contestants and not just Luffy. Perhaps this means that once this rescue is done. The deceived will wreak havoc upon Mingo’s men for their own revenge? It seems Mingo is playing with fire here, pun intended.
Still can’t see how the tournament will unfold, though. Which keeps it interesting. Nothing is worse than a predictable tournament format. So the potential for disruption is a really elegant solution.
The scene with Cavendish , Bartolomeo and Burges seems to imply future involvement. Perhaps Cavendish will win block D. Otherwise, there is way too much investment in his character. One thing is certain Barto is not a fan of Burges. This might be the first thing we know of him in terms of allegiance.
Whatever snippets of the fight we can see shows Luffy is not going to win this easily. Which complicates his position vis a vis Mingo’s plan.

With Barto it can be 2 things either Burgess beated Bartolomeo up on Jaya and Bartolomeo saw how luffy did not react to Bellamy in the café and later one hit ko'ed him.
Or Bartolomeo is actually a lvl 5 or 6 prisoner
Well, surprise surprise, a direct translation ISN'T necessarily better than an indirect one.
Anyway, interesting chapter with the full read. Fujitora appears to be totally basent from the fight now? Else maybe catching his breath, I guess. Law's orders to the SHs were interesting. I think he suspects he won't be able to wiggle out of his prediocament, he may lose the heart at least, so he wants to get the body away.
In terms of versus Jora, the Shs appear to be fully incapacitated. Short of dragon-Momonosuke saving the day, it seems impossible unless they figure otu how to undo the art-art powers. It would certainly be nice if those members there managed to wiggle out of the situation against Jora, get the Sunny into working order, go to Green Bit without getting destroyed by Fighting Fish and retrieved CC, but maybe that's a little too wishful.
The 'tunnel' is interesting. It does beg the question why the need to have this air-transport if they're going to be going through a tunnel anyway. Bianne is really a hornet? Shit, hide your bees! Um, and a conflict going back 900 years is like an 'ooohhhh' moment but is frankly insubstantial until we get more information.
Zoro was hilarious. And the Little People thinking Franky was a toy haha. This plotline didn't do anything interesting this chapter, though it does beg the question of how the army intends to go to the factory. Another tunnel? A direct march on the colosseum would be harder. Like it would be noticeable? Not to mention Bastille's hanging around there with a decent force?
Only a flash of Kinemon and Sanji, unfortunately. It was cool to see Kinemon cheering for Luffy (and Sanji reprimanding him haha). I am still hopeful this little plotline is marching straight to Sanji redemption. And maybe we will get to see how Sanji the Knight is more than heart eyes, never kicking a woman and giga nosebleeds. Maybe it will mean something about promises and responsibility too. He was the one who put Kinemon's head together and took him out from that room on Punk Hazard. And he was the one who said he's have to take responsibility for it. So let's see a little of that sometime soon, yeah?
Meanwhile, Burgess pops up in the gallery! Haha, that must be VERY scary. I'm actually kind of hoping we get Block D in BEFORE the chaos starts. In the meantime, Luffy reveals his identity, pretty much, which he'd been avoiding doing for a while. Hopefully we'll get a chapter soon that will give this fight proper attention and wrap it up. And then when the chaos starts we can get an emotional Luffy versus Bellamy yeahhh :p

It's probably in large part because it wouldn't be that interesting. Law's power is pretty vague. Doffy's appears to be similarly so. Put them together and the fight can't be amazing. Plus, he's obviously waiting to formally reveal Doffy's power, and even moreso for Fujitora's.
I find it funny that when even the smallest criticism towards mangarule appeared, everyone would jump in the guy's guts screaming "you are getting it for nothing, you leech. Know your place instead of complaining. If you don't like it, go buy the manga yourself". But with mangapanda it's ok to bash it to no end.
"Oh, but they got banners".

I think you people are reading too much into Bartolomeo's expression. Cavendish is pretty much the same, except his eternally bishie face doesn't lend itself to that sort of look, so it's all in the eye.
Burgess is a super-powerful high-up crewmate of the most audacious of the Yonkou. Bartolomeo is a rookie. They don't need to have history for him to be bearing that sort of expression.
Well at least it is something different from resurgencences of Monet is just a fallen angel who needs to be understood.
Yeah but they usually switch it up with some other "girl of the week" every few times a day so it isn't too tedious.
Kinda like having a rotating school schedule. Only instead of taking algebra first period on even numbered days, you have to explain why a morally corrupt scientist will never be a protagonist.
you have to explain why a morally corrupt scientist will never be a protagonist.
Iunno man that sounds just like having to explain why scumbags are considered scumbags.
I guess it's really all about redundancy.
Really don't know why, but i'm still suspicious about Kinemon and his intentions. It's almost hinted that he might know what happens to the losing fighters.
I think Kinemon's intentions are good, and all that he's hiding is probably some mission or something he Momonosuke, Kanjuro and the other samurai were sent on.
Aaah, Franky. How did they get you in this tiny sinkhole?
maybe the weakness to the ato ato no mi, is to blind jora…...........2 fingers to her eyes = no way to appreciate the art?
I still wonder how DD knows that Luffy is in the tournament. I doubt Bellamy would have told someone like Diamante and just go back and speak to Luffy before heading out into the tournament. So, unless Diamante or the other members of the family who are apart of the tournament told Doflamingo, then I guess Doflamingo just assumes that Luffy has taken the bait.

I don't know, perhaps the answer lies on MangaPanda.com, new chapter 718, exciting event!
