Meanwhile, I've only unlocked up to Shiek, because my brother recently bought Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition and it got its claws into me hard.
Shiek…wait, is it Shiek or Sheik?.....anyways, took me time to get used to. But she has some sweet elemental moves, and like Impa, has insane ninja-like combat skills.
I'm loving how they all play, so far. I'm almost done with Guacamelee!, so I'll be diving back into Hyrule Warriors very soon, especially since my 3DS is out of commission.

Totally Weird, but eh, at least I get it.
I've owned the game since Monday night and haven't gotten to play it due to bus rides making my work days now take about 13 hours (I leave at 8am and get home at 9pm.)

Got an update today and received Cia, Volga and that annoying wizard. Is that normal? Charging into battle now with epic boobs.
Another thing that just hit me. Will Cia, Volga and Lana going to be official canon?
Ok, finally sat down and played Hyrule Warriors. Just beat Chapter 2: The Sheikah Tribesman.
Gotta say…. I'm really enjoying it. It's actually really fun, and the mechanic where I have to strategize on the field to prevent keeps from falling is a nice touch.
Plus, ALL the little Zelda touches are beautiful for a Long-time Zelda fan like me...

In the master quest map adventure mode map you get with the DLC there is costumes throughout it it could be unlocked from there

I've often wondered about that myself; seems like being supported by people who only want you there so the world can end in fire (with you going to Hell in the process) would be somewhat off-putting

If you have problems with big bosses like Dodongo or Manhandla I strongly recommend this Wizzro guy. His multiple energy blasts brings that weakening wheel down in no time. One try for every new wheel :blink:

Also, I screwed up and did not read the fine print. Can't get the Hero of Hyrule pack because guess what, apparently my recently-downloaded Master Quest Pack is part of it. No 8 bit sword or Dark Link for me….also now I have to downloaded the future Twilight Princess and Majora's Mask packs seperately, uggh….

At least in coop he is really helpful (I play with my brother). We leveled him up a bit and since I use Ganondorf alot with his slow but powerful attacks, these two are a great team for this battles, imho. If you use Wizzro alone, you may invest some more rubees in him.
hmmm I might try Wizzro then if he is good against manhandla it's the only boss I have issues with because of the bullet seed thing it does

And when I say "hard at work", I mean they are hard at work.
The part in Legend Mode where you have to take down Cia once and for all was a pain, almost as hard as Impa and Sheik trying to stop Darunia at Death Mountain. Not so much because of Cia herself, but because of the darn enemy boosts and everyone fleeing. Seriously, at the end, only me (Zelda) and Ruto still stayed.
But at least I can finally use Ganon!….who has to start at level 1.

So, me and my flatmates were playing DW 6 a lot before 8XL came out - the one with Renbu, and overpowered horses. You know. I like XL a lot, but I am really tired of the weapon system, improving it constantly, getting SO MANY WEAPONS and having to sell a lot - after 3-4 battles just skim the list and get rid of anything that's bad. So I haven't actually finished the game, only the Quest lines - and I haven't done Lu Bu yet because I was saving him for last, but then never continued.
DW 6 though - I've seen on many forums that acquiring good horses (the Kings) is completely random, but I have evidence against that - it's the same as weapons, and higher map + game difficulty increases chances of getting better horses. I've fought a Highest difficulty map on Chaos several times (with a character that has the Lady Luck ability), and got Horse Kings 3 out of 5 times. So yeah. Take that, internet knowledge.

Aside from that, this game is awesome! Impa looks so freakin badass, and stomping gorons to the ground with Dark Link on a hellish black Epona? The rule of cool is strong with this one.

Wait what? A glitch to max out rupees??
Yeah, apparently in a coop big monster battle, when you defeat one by bringing out its weakening wheel by using magic and your special attack. Don't know what exatly triggered the glitch but my brother and I and other people on the internet were getting max rupees after that. The time, the characters, the attacks, the monsters I've no idea what matters :wassat:
And, yeah, it's not like you need so many rupees. You get them automatically when you grind for far more important gold items.
Finished orochi warriors 3 ultimate today with a friend…awesome game, but only subtitled..is the orochi series not popular enough to make a dubbed version? Because with the 145 characters from multiple series..this game has a lot of stuff besides the linear storyline

Think it's just a cheaper option.
Keoi doesn't bother dubbing anything anymore. Samurai Warriors, Dynasty Warriors, Gundam, One Piece, Orochi, Fist of the North Star. They know their target audience, how much they'll sell, and they don't bother dubbing it because thats just a massive extra cost that doesn't really get them anything in terms of new sales or expanded fanbase.
Also have digital only releases now.
They've been going that route for a couple years now.

I figured that was the character. We knew midna had an alternative weapon from the demo. My guess is they separated them because of how different they look, it would make costumes hard. So the question now is will fierce diety link be a character or weapon hmm.

Dominion Rod's the Twilight Princess weapon that lets you control statues, right? I don't think I ever got around to beating that game, but I recall there was a weapon that let you do that.
