If there's someone I can see inherting Lana's moveset, it's Farore from the Oracle games: she is associated with books and live in a mojo tree, the perfect combo.
I'm on board with this.
So if there's a sequel, I'm hoping for the three Oracles, Nabooru, and Rauru.

sweet. I imagine we will get all 3 oracles at some point but it probably won't be till warriors 3. The next warriors game will likely focus on the other console games minus four swords adventure and zelda II. i reckon the main emphasis will be on A Link to the past instead of Zelda 1 with bosses and adventure mode being based from it. Then we will have Wind waker, Zelda Wii U, a link to the past and a link between worlds based characters and stages (with perhaps a couple being taken from ocarina and skyward sword like nabooru or groose).

Has anyone else had a problem with the gamepad in hyrule warriors? This has been happening for a while with me but I will lose control of the character and it will come up saying the gamepad has disconnected from the wii u. There are 2 variations of this.
One is a see-through black message with a picture of the wii u and gamepad saying connection is lost but it soon reconnects (sometimes i still have control despite the message).
The other variation has a completely solid grey message with no pictures saying that I have been disconnected and tells me to get closer. The latter is the worst because it only gives me control 5% of the time after. In every other case I have to restart the console and I lose a lot of progress (just lost getting volga's final weapon).
If it was just the gamepad I would know the problem but it's not. Not only does this only happen with hyrule warriors (I have played toad, bayonetta and wonderful 101 with no problems) but I still have control over the home button. I can click that and chose to go back to the wii u menu or flick through the manual and it receives all my inputs so it's obviously connected. But hyrule warriors thinks I'm not and I have to restart.I cannot find anyone else online experiencing this issue so I don't know if it's my game, my wii u or it's just really rare but it is incredibly frustrating.

I would be totally down for Pokemon mousou.
Hell, I bought the turn based crossover they had before.
And, given the mechanics of how moves work, and the fact that ALL the mons are CG modeled already, they could probably make a huge roster with a ton of moves pretty quick. It'd be pretty awesome to just be a mon and put on extreme speed or something to dash around.

I'm guessing that he doesn't want people defeating hordes of the same pokemon, in this way.
If it's Zubats to farm speed EV it's ok, but like this? Maybe with other kind of mook..

They handled Ganondorf better than Sakurai, let nintendo restrict a little on the armor department (Specialy Samus), and let them Smash.

[/hide]Will it be just used for aesthetic flair, or would a different day change the difficulty of some missions, and/or restrict certain ones to play?
also: there's 13 costume icons. Even if we assume the special costumes will be automatically obtained with the patch, that still doesn't equal a new costume for everyone. Then again, this could be beta and/or the map physically changes based on the day.

I like the idea of mask costumes. There are 19 characters so three won't get masks i guess. Gonna assume these are wizzro, Ruto and Midna.

Lol, I played TP years ago once. Without the the Total War Mod „Hyrule Total War“ (in wich you can play nearly every faction that ever appeared in the Zelda franchise) I weren't able to recognise the banner.
But why Midna? Aside from being in the same game she had no connections whatsoever to the Ordonna.

Got the kafei mask and i am at woodfall temple. My friend was getting so excited over the new potions in the apothecary. There are XP, material and rupee boosters now. I have never used the Apothecary so i have no idea how it works lol

That's interesting about navi seeing as it's a red fairy. Also young link does use Proxi as well.
On a side note fierce deity link is incredibly satisfying to play as :D

I still only have the kafei and Zoe's mask. I'm very close to the don gero, Goron and majora's mask.
I've been using the apothecary and wow is it useful. Like the new potions are amazingly helpful. Got 20,000 rupees in the last matchh

Can you dodge roll in some other musou games? The game looks super fun, that and the akira toriyama artstyle are actually getting me really excited for it. Now I hope it actually comes out outside of japan.

Ah cool, getting hyrule warriors next week. Also am I the only one who likes musou games based on other series like one piece, zelda or now dragon quest more, cause they just seem to do more interesting new things than the standard dynasty warriors games? Or maybe it's just because I find the worlds and characters more appealing, I don't know.^^

I'm with you. The only warrior games I have played are pirate warriors and hyrule warriors and that is mainly because I like the series they are based on. I don't think the dynasty warriors games would appeal to me as much

The main appeal of Dynasty Warriors for me was that you started with a little province in old China and conquer it, bit after bit, fighting other historical figures. So turning the tide in a battle was both exciting and important. Especially defending whith a little force against some big army that tries to invade your mainland while your main forces are on a campaign elsewhere.
I think we had part four of the series. It had minor diplomacy (non-aggression pacts), a coop mode (played it like Hyrule mostly with my brother) and you were able to create your own character. So, yeah, I got hooked pretty fast.
Also, who the hell thought it would be good or funny to have Tingle constantly spout annoying sounds while he runs?!

There lies the problem for me, I don't care at all for this chinese setting and characters. I rather play samurai warriors, cause some of the characters I am familiar with through anime and manga at least.^^

To be honest, the only thing the setting gives to me is the fancy look. You are creating your own empire, rising up against multiple opponents. So it doesn't really matter if it's China, Middle-earth or Japan
