Genos basically says that class c heroes who haven't done anything heroic within one week are removed from their status. The speech bubble which is blurred is the same as the page before.
Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)
-
-
The blur scene is just a repetition of the previous page (the text, I mean).
I think it's fun how the artist experiments with these kind of effects, like the 360 battle sequences of before.

This. I thought it was a really neat way to transition a page.
And this is sort of why I'm worried this comic might end up being published in the magazine instead of web. Because believe it or not, there would be limitations. Limitations that I would NOT like. -

Limitations that I would NOT like.I agree. I have no problem with it remaining a webcomic. It's more fun to watch Murata play around with his art than have him be shackled by the limits of serialization.
-
Keep it web based: screw serialization.
I wanna see Murata have room to spread his wings, after all.
-
Volumes 1 and 2 sold about 40,000 copies a piece in their first week. I guess that is pretty decent for a web comic's debut week, but I was hoping it would be a little more popular and grab the attention of Viz so we can get it printed over here.
-
Decent for a web series? I don't feel like checking numbers right now but I'm pretty sure that 40 thousand volumes for the first volume of a new series is good wheter it's web based or magazine based.
Not excellent but it's still a pretty big green light for the series to continue. -

I think those are pretty good numbers
do you also know which chapters are included in the volumes, or if it's available a RAW somewhere online? -

These are excellent numbers. Insta-hit Jump series like One Piece, Assassination Classroom and Bakuman sold ~150k copies in their first week. Magi sold ~40,000 with it's first volume in the first week and failure series like Bulge have sold <10,000 in their first week.
So for a web series to sell 80,000 copies when it first comes out? That's amazing.
-
Take in mind that both OP and Assasination Classroom also had a heavy marketing campaign backing them up before the first volumes were released.
-
How much publicity does this comic get? Is it virtually word of mouth or does it get some ads like most Jump titles?
-
Nooooooooooo! I need my OPM fix.
-
Well, I guess fortunately at least Molester Man is pretty good. Funny as hell.
It's no OPM but at least it'll be something to tide me over.
-
So Saitama is the new Chuck Norris, at least for the manga community?
-
….... don't bring the saitama jokes.... people will look weirdly at you.....
I hope we'll get at least another raw chapter before the new year.
-
The next one comes december 27
-
But, 119 isn't out yet is it?
-
But, 119 isn't out yet is it?
English version?? no you have to wait until january for a english version of these chapters
also:
-
Molester man? Lol wtf, I have to check that out XD
Anyways finished the series so far in an afternoon and loved every bit of it, I kinda want to try out his training regime lol XD
-
Hmmm so another week to wait for a trans
-
I'm reading Molester Man and is actually pretty good despite the title.
Big suprised when I saw that the art is done by the same guy who did Onani Master Kurosawa which is a great series.(don't let the plot fool you on this one)
Go check then out.
-
Enjoy the world not ending with some Onepunch-Man 19!
-
All hail Saitama and Molestor '@'
-
@FKM:
The next one comes december 27
lol'd so hard when the badly-drawn hero appeared behind the ninja guy near the end!
-
Here you go. A short fix before the new year. WE SURVIVED!!! XD
http://www.mangahere.com/manga/onepunch_man/c020/
ELBOW JOINT PANIC appears again!!! -
this manga this manga is a mark of the Apocalypse so funny that it could kill a person from lathing and i love the comic book style for the volumes it is really cool
-
You guys gotta try this : Try to "read" OPM when the raws are out, then read it again when it's translated. A whole new experience. I always think Saitama is in trouble or something, but they are always just petty issues. It's hilarious.
-
This manga continues to be avatar and signature gold, like every chapter has something to use.
-
Insta-favorite! Good lord, that is goooooood.
-
One Bite Man
-
Amazeballs…I almost feel bad for Sonic...But god that's hilarious.
-
So they're the new group in charge of OPM, Well better than nothing.
Now saitama really will gonna shine.
Btw anyone know the name of this guy??
!
-

I think it's
! Zombieman.
Not 100% sure, though.
-
Loved It. December manga spree continues with Neuro and Magi.
-
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Wow, I think I've found a new gag manga favourite!
-
I love how his threat isn't, "I'll kill you." The only thing that OnePunch Man has to say is "I'll hit you."
-

Same difference~
-
sorry to keep asking this every once in a while, but does anyone know if the RAWS for volumes 1-2 are online somewhere? I can't find them anywhere and when I get to Japanese or Chinese sites I just don't know where to look
-
Chapter 21's RAW is up. Not much for laughs this week though.
-
Looks like chapter 21 is the first one that doesn't follow the original comic. Perhaps One and Murata are going for an extended introduction to the next arc?
And here is the list of all 17 S Class heroes who get the most spotlight in the webcomic. Thank the internet for the explanation.
!
! 1. BLAST
An unknown hero that has yet to appear in the original web comic
! 2. Tatsumaki the Esper (The green haired girl)
An overpowered Saitama-level character, she sent Genos flying and flattened him on a wall without lifting a single finger.
Singlehandedly wrecks an alien spaceship without exerting her powers.
She alone can handle an enemy that overpowers the rest of the S-class heroes.
Has a younger sister Sandstorm Fubuki (the black haired girl), the 1st ranker of B-class heroes -who seems to have a crush on Saitama-.
! 3. Bang "Silver Fang" the martial arts master (The old guy)
Master of the Flowing Water Fist and has considered on taking Saitama and Genos as his disciples. He's the former master of the now most powerful enemy in the series, "Hero-Slayer Garou".
He's the only character besides Genos who knows about Saitama's real power.
! 4. Atomic Samurai (the guy above Silver Fang)
A swordsman that can cut you to nothingness, slicing your very atoms with a million slashes. Has 3 disciples who are the top 3 A-class heroes.
! 5. Boy genius Mech Emperor (the kid with crazy ass mechs coming from his shoulders)
An 8-year old genius inventor who is the brain of the heroes missions.
! 6. Metal Knight (not in the picture)
A powerful ballistic robot, remote controlled by a mysterious guy. He helped Genos destroys a meteor that threatened to annihilate A-ville.
! 7. King, the strongest man on the planet (the guy with the largest face in the picture)
The so called most powerful hero of all times whose powers are said to be comparable to Tatsumaki.
The truth is, he's just a normal guy who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He's the one who took all of Saitama's superhero deeds (from the very first chapter of Vaccineman) since he happened to be the only man in the vicinity.
Later in the story, Saitama knows about his secret and becomes his gaming buddy. King, Fubuki, Genos, and Silver Fang often crashes on Saitama's house, making it an unofficial gathering place.
! The rest of the cast never knows about King's true identity even when they're up against the most powerful enemy in the manga currently, all of them places their hope on King.
Even though he's powerless, King can still intimidate the enemies just by glaring on them, forcing them to flee in terror.
! 8. Zombieman (the super pale colored skin guy)
An immortal superhero that simply cannot die. He will always regenerate no matter how bad his wounds are. He wields various weapons from chainsaws to axes to shotguns.
He's a product of the House of Evolution.
! 9. Black Warrior (the jumping guy clad in armor)
A mysterious hero who doesn't appear much. He told Genos to "Be careful of Metal Knight"
! 10. Eating God (above pretty prisoner)
A super obese guy who can swallow anything. He mitigates incoming damage with his thick layer of fat.
! 11. Kurobikari (the black bodybuilder)
The strongest of the S-class heroes in terms of raw power. He's the only one who could stand up against Hero Slayer Garou's final form (though just for a few minutes).
! 12. Banken Man "Watch Dog Man" (below Genos' arm)
Superhero in a ridiculously funny dog suit. Able to rip apart his opponent with his claws
! 13. Lightspeed Flash (to the right of Silver Bat)
The fastest of all the S-class heroes, even faster than Sonic.
! 14. Tanktop Master (most bottom left guy)
The master of Tanktop fighting style
! 15. Silver Bat (the regent haired guy holding baseball bat)
A hot-blooded guy whose weapon is a metallic baseball bat. His homerun swing is no joke, really.
! 16. Genos
! 17. Pretty Prisoner (the afro guy with long eyelashes)
A burly drag with gay yet super powerful special moves, loves good looking guys, addresses everyone with the suffix -chanAnd no, Licenceless Rider isn't a S Class hero. -
Thanks for the info, Silverblade
btw, does the S-class heroes you listed are in order of their actual rank?
-
Yeah, I think that's the actual order of their ranks as it is shown in chapter 32.
-
My body wasn't ready. It still isn't.
-
Yeah, I think that's the actual order of their ranks as it is shown in chapter 32.
Wait,does that mean that
! "the strongest man on the planet" who everyone in S-tier looks up to is ranked as #7?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
And yeah,thanks a bunch for the info,Silverblade.
-
That's strongest, probably top has saved more people, or has stopped multiple apocalipsis.
-
Maybe he wants to be #7, like the 5 boss moles in Earthbound that all claim proudly to be the 3rd strongest among them.
-
That's strongest, probably top has saved more people, or has stopped multiple apocalipsis.
! Saitama
really needs to focus less on the punching the enemies into goop aspect of heroic activites.Who knows, maybe saving people can actually provide him with the thrills that he so sorely lacks.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Maybe he wants to be #7
Due to
! shame
no doubt…
-
Well Sander, there you go, he has saved tons of people, but no one has seen him do it.
