Why is someone who types and reasons like a third grader allowed to carry a gun?
EDIT: GOD I'M IN A BAD MOOD!
@Dragonxpiece:
well time is coming short now, deployment date is jan 10th. i hope all this leaks didnt damage the situation over there that much.
as for Assange i dont doubt a hitman get rid of him after due process wherever he gets it. lol. just been honest.
Yes, because what he's doing is so terrible. It must be embarrassing to see what everyone's underwear looks like after displaying such dirty laundry.
And it's not like killing him will make him a martyr, despite the logic our silly, soft civilian sentiments.
is hard for u guys to not like wikileaks and to support my stand, specially because most of you guys are not in the army nor at war (as soldiers ) trying to achieve a goal.
Oh yes, the goal. How could we have forgotten the goal?
this leaks could jeaopardize everything we as military are trying to do and im not talking about the idiots diplomats who said shiet or at the noob idiot soldiers who killed CIV, im talking about us officers and good soldiers, generals and military commanders, the coalition forces of many countries , ISAF etc who are doing all we can to keep stability, to keep peace, to create more trust with the countries we are occupying TILL the terrorist are eliminated so they cant come and supress the weak again.
You really did live in a House of Mirth before all this, didn't you? Still are, by the looks of it.
i am sure if some of you who love to hate on what i write, spent at least 1 month in my shoes doing what I do , what i try to sprad among the troops , what we as a team try to accomplish and all the hardships and challenges that comes with it and on a everyday basis on this war zone, then your opinions torwards me and wikileaks will for sure change.
I'm more than likely sure that there's many who 'walked in your shoes' for a much longer period who would hate what you're saying. Like the Vietnam vets.
I understand you guys live normal lifes, probably dont know much of what is going on in the world other than the news you read etc till wikileaks released the BAD STUFF (because they did not mention ALL THE GOOD STUFF that we do) and think as civilians, but try think for a second as the other face of the coin, do you think we enjoy beign deployed for 6 months to 13 months away from everything and all the commodities? we dont choose to and when the leaks started happening we all were concerned on how this would affect our progress and hard work.
Dude, we knew about the bad stuff even before wikileaks. Also, our news media usually tries to sell the war to the public by only focusing on the good stuff and sweeping under the rug the bad.
Wikileaks, as old as the information is, is a much needed bitch slap to all the political and media whores who quiver at the thought of reporting anything bad about the military.
Also, you don't choose to? What, were you drafted or something? It sounds more like you went in expecting the romance of a battle that the army commercials advertise and what you got was sand in your shoes and a whole lot of people not liking the intrusive foreigner.
just so you guys know on my last mission, we build homes , we gave food to the poor and homeless, i remember in the time i was there i was in charge of delivering and securing more than 200 tons of grain, legumes and water to be delivered to rural areas affected by the Taliban. we have taugh children to learn english, we have protected schools that the Taliban destroys just because they want the children of Afghanistan to become like them and not to receive an education and depart from that violent fighter future, there have been schools bombed just because they accept girls to study . I /my brigade have prevented countless rapes and violent crimes to happen to woman over there that showed their hair in the streets or who talk back to their husbands/boyfriends, i never forget the day that i almost get shot in the head ,but thanks to the gunman daughter who wasnt arrested thanks to me and my MSGT who told military police that it wasnt her fault she was making out with a taliban figthe i got savedr.
That's good and all, but that doesn't really justify letting the insufferable faggots in your line of work get off the hook.
It's like saying "Stop speaking bad things about our cartel. Sure, a lot of us raped and sold women and killed anyone who got in the way of our profit, but it's making the rest of us look bad."
we have painted Afghan governamental structures and help rebuild them, we have tried and burned drug plantations,we have eliminate a lot of drugs from the street to help Afghan live a cleaner life.
Shut. Up.
we have helped cure disease, gave medical treatment and spread medicine to help kids, women, seniors and men as well heal from wounds and disease, we are training all their Afghan troops, police etc so they can protect their citizens better and eliminate any terror threads by themselves and in the future have a wonderful country free of US military. we done so much and there still so much to do and I dont want to jeopardize all that.
Fun Question: Guess who's to blame for jeopardizing morale?
Fun Hint: None of the blame falls on Assange.
look at everything in a open minded wide view and not only the "oh America want to be everywhere and they do what they want and dragonxpiece is an idiot cuz he doesnt support the leaks and thinks the military is great" , first get the facts straight and then when you know enough and aware of everything can come and hate on me.
1: It's one thing to have an open mind. It's another for it to be so open that your brains leak out. I ain't not the smartest, but I at least try to remember my skeptical and critical thinking skills.
2: Stop with the persecution complex. You haven't even earned it.
3: That last sentence is so ironic, because that's exactly what everyone's been doing.
