i think they won't raise his bounty, instead they will cover up the incident so that no one knows that one pirate has single-handedly whoop 10000 marine asses.
It'll be like Crocodile, they'll raise his bounty, but they won't say why though.
I've also been thinking, what if they fail the rescue mission? Somehow, everyone ends up getting caught. I think it could be a good twist.

It's great. I like Luffy's new move and he is in the empty courthouse surrond by thousand marines and WG agents.
I wonder where is Zoro, Nami, Chopper, Sogeking(Usopp), and Sanji are? I can't seem to find them very well.

I think Luffy should drive one foot deep into the ground, twist his body around to the absolute limit and just let loose with his one free leg with a massive Whip/Pinwheel combo attack.

Well, I'm thinking the one leg will do, just to keep him grounded so he doesn't lose control while doing the Whip. I think he'd be fine doing it where he is, this time, unless of course, they eventually dig him out and throw him into the black abyss.

also one thing that amazes me with ODA is his ability to diversificate a enviroment... soo many different types of marines. give such a greater realism than when u see those "copy-n-paste" characters in big epic scenes

Franky fits in well for Vivi…. Well at least their hair color matches so no big loss there for the crew :P But to be serious I liked Vivi more but Franky is also cool. I think I need to get to know him better in the future chapters.

Heh, the Enies Lobby fight is sort of reminding me of Moria in LOTR where there's 10's of thousands of little peons, and then big giant guys show up. Next thing we know it, a big demon will come up from the giant hole.

nice to see Luffy just charge in and beat everyone in sight… but hopefully we get to see the others fight more... instead of Luffy always getting the spotlight each arc.
The very reason Luffy is charging in will be the others' way of getting spotlight. I just hope he keeps progressing though. I would be dissapointed if Oda had him somehow get disabled by some means YET AGAIN and just keep his battle progressing while everything else comes to be.

But I don't really see him beating thousands, and it'd be a bit much if we saw the thousands go down. After laying out a big chunk (some not shown), he should just move on.

BUT WOOOOOO FRRRRANKY!
I, for one, am just enjoying this large-scale combat with the Frankies and the shipwrights. We have a bunch of likable characters duking it out with seemingly countless "npc" types, and we have so many one-on-one duels (which, mind you, are still awesome) in One Piece that it's nice to have this as a change of pace. It's even better than the Alabastian war, since we have recognizable faces here instead of a bunch of random dude's in turbans on the battlefield.
It all makes me quietly and humbly wish that the Strawhats' new ship will require a large crew, which can be filled by the delightful characters of Water 7. It's unlikely, since it'd be difficult to maintain to many characters at once so regularly that it'd slow things down, but it'd still be nice to imagine.
Anyway, the chapter beats ass. I'm sure to die waiting two weeks for the next one

i could actually see franky with the whole franky family and some galley-la characters (paulie, lulu, and tilestone) joining now. i'm sure they'll be wanted after this and maybe they'll need to leave water 7, ice can handle things himself . i mean, luffy can't sail the grand line and become the pk with such a tiny crew (well, maybe he could lol). if he wants to beat whitebeard's and shanks's crew later on for one piece, he's gonna need a bigass crew imo. maybe now he's gonna have a bigger, stronger, and more serious crew.
on the other hand, maybe he'll stick with his tiny crew plus a couple new members (paulie and franky).

Not many will be wanted here. Whoever beats those two giants wll stand a chance of being wanted, but other than that, basically only the Straw Hats and maybe Franky. It's not like the Marines are keeping track here.

i don't mean wanted as in "i got a million beri bounty on my head" but some of those guys fighting the marines are easy to recognize and might already have a reputation so if they get caught by the marines or agents in water 7, they could be in deep shit. nobody's ever done what they are doing so if these guys get away and just stay put in water 7, i think the government has it's sources and is capable of finding out who they are and catching them at water 7.
Yeah, I know. But come on, who'll recognize a Lulu? They're not making big splashes, so it'll be hard to remember an individual.
i think all of the three top shipwrights(Lulu,Paulie,and Tilestone) are well known in that part of the sea and should be easy for the marines to recognize,
but i dont see any of them getting any bountys unless those gigants they are gonna beat are top marine officers or something cause other than that they have really done anything worth noticing.

About who will be wanted…
You know, CP9 messed up pretty badly. They're supposed to be a 'secret' organization, but they left Iceburg alive. I'm sure they thought he was dead, but he's not, and the government is gonna have a lot of explaining to do about a secret organization of assassins/spies who have license to kill anyone who 'doesn't agree with the World Government.'
Not to mention the fact that there'll be a lot of repair work necessary for the sea train, which has become a very necessary part of the economy of that part of the world.
So. We have the WG (or their agents) attempting an assassination of the mayor of one of the most important cities on the Grand Line. A man who is also one of the few in the world who can actually repair the sea train. And he can make sure that the whole damn city knows all about what really happened.
At this point, the WG has two options. Either kill everyone, or make a deal with them. Killing everyone is messy, so I'm guessing that the Galley-La and the Franky family will be getting some major concessions from the WG to keep their mouths shut about the real story.
And though it looks more and more like Franky will be the next addition to the crew, I still think he has way too much baggage. I don't see the whole Franky Family joining; they're loyal to Franky, and you can't have two captains.
However, I bow to the genius that is Oda, and will abide by his dictates.
