Well my personaly I think the Ohara clan was anihilated because they wanted to protect something the World Goverment wanted to take away from them. IMO that would be some knowledge (or even plans) for one of the ancient weapons. The use of the Buster Call fleet suggests the the Ohara clan was really powerful and could pose a threat to the World Goverment If they ever tried to ressurect one of those weapons but then we really don't know if the people of Ohara had good or bad intentions. My 2c to this topic.

Oh, and that plot twist idea sounds shockingly great. Imagine Lucci with a big heart-felt smile on his face, laughing it up with the crew. Of course, Franky was a "bad-guy" too for awhile, and Robin was as well!

A Ninja Pigeon that would certainly rock.

Lucci after getting beat up by Luffy: "Don't think this is over Strawhat !"
Luffy also severly beat up: "Are ???"
Lucci: "You thought I was fighting alone didn't ya ? Come forth Hattori !"

Hattori transforms into a Ninja Pigeon.

Luffy: "Are ???"
Lucci: "He ate the ninja-ninja fruit that alows him to transform into a japanese stealth fighter and throw shurikens, do jutsu and shit !"

not sure on the match-ups if you go by the spread. but there are too many possibilities on the match-ups and i'm not sure with some matches. hell, maybe they won't even fight one on one, who knows (most likely will though ).

if that spread is also another foreshadow of franky joining then other things in there must be a foreshadow as well. like that stick in usopp's hand, looks like a giant sling shot. i still think he's gonna use the dials as sling shot ammo and shoot 'em at people . maybe that's what that thing is for.

I couldn't hold back on calling the Marines "n00bs". All they really do is just getting in the way and blocking manga panels for some nice Strawhat Crew action.
