Getting back to One Piece. I'm curious as to what Dragon and Ivankov are discussing about Kuma over that secure Den Den Mushi. Plus, I wonder what Dragon's original intentions were for sending Kuma to the WG as a spy. Obvious reasons to gain intelligence or something deeper? After all, he did sacrifice one of his best men for whatever the reasons were.

Wow–couple things are different. In this it appears Garp just sorta disappeared. I wonder if he quit or just stopped showing up or what? Was it vague Japanese?

Two--The stuff with Kid--this translation says he won't let Luffy keep the advantage he assumes he has over the other SN due to being at the war and etc, then does the crucifictions. Makes me wonder if one was a reaction to the other, in that he was attempting to pad his own rep by doing it--especially since previously we heard he was cruel, but were given the impression it was mostly or even only when people made fun of his dream--these guys just wanted to go home.

There were other little differences, as well. In this he has Ray specifically saying the crew need to read the article to get the message, and the wording made it clear, as Aohige said, that he was referring to a crew member of Luffy's, not himself or Jumbei, when he made the comment about someone not getting it. There was more but I forget at the moment what they were they seemed small anyway, so unimportant.

It took Roger at least 2 years to conquer the New World (3 years for the entire Grandline). Just how long will it take Luffy to conquer the New World if he waits 2 years before heading over there?

The best thing about the time skip is that it's realistic. Luffy becoming Pirate King at 17 or 18 is a bit much. Luffy is no where near as strong as the top-tier fighters, and even weaker than some mid-tier fighters like Sentoumaru or Jinbei. He needs a certain amount of time to become powerful enough to at least hold his own against the mid-tier fighters.

And the other SHs surely need more than a couple of weeks to boost up properly. Fuck knows how Chopper and Brooke (and maybe Sanji) are going to gain strength though.

Just because it might mean the same thing to the public it could mean something different to the strawhats. But the tattoo is also something of a "out of no where-ness" type of thing. And we're not 100% if he did declare a new age for pirates. And if he did i think Rayleigh gave him the idea of doing it that way. Since luffy wouldn't know of it.

It becomes very very clear here about who Ray was talking about,omg we had seen "2 dull-looking men" then "1 stupid looking guy" and now it says "1 slow companion" or whatever,if that is correct looks like i was right about saying that the 2 translations at onemanga+mangastream were kinda wrong…

i think a big two year timeskip would definitely be to much.
i mena in every manga so far there was a big timeskip (DB,Naruto) and i hope it wont be in OP. i dont have anything about some months which the crew and luffy needs right now..but 2 fucking long years.

om kinda against a time skip my self definitely dont want a couple of years time skip ad for people say luffys to young to be the pirate king he could take two years before he even reaches raftel plus its a shonen manga do his age dont mean shit altough alot of people were against a timeskip in fullmetal alchemist then it was done with perfection and worked really well you just have to have more confidence in oda
