Woah, I've been reading through the war again and I spotted a bit of foreshadowing to Sabo (merely his existence).
Look at this page, particularly the cups. To the left, you can see Oda actually put a bit of the third cup in there, with even an accompanying shadow. It's That attention to detail that makes Oda awesome.

Tenryuubitos were supposed to come in the Goa kingdom. My guess is that they are involved in this turn of events.
Maybe one of them got burned to death..and the king was demote leading him to Level 6.
But even if i am wrong in the outcome i find it weird to not have seen these Tenryuubitos which we have been told two chapters ago that they were coming.
As for the rest to deal with pirates and make them believe in his words this king might have been a pirate on his own before hand.

I'm kind of torn about Kuma being a revolutionary. While I think it'd be a nice plot point to hit, and would help explain why Kuma helped seemed to help Luffy. I find it a little convenient, but perhaps I'm just thinking too much.
I'd like to see Sabo join the revolutionaries. Just my personal desires.
And speaking of Dragon and the Windiness associated with him. I'm forced to believe that this is no longer coincidental. Makes me wonder just what kind of powers he does posses. Wind Logia almost seems too crazy.

He's basically allowed himself to be executed. I really want to know what made him do that. Sorrow for his "tyrant" days? But then he's only allowing his body to be used for more destruction. Revolutionary plot? But what plot could call for him to be lobotimised?

It was always Kuma's dream to become an autobot. Even after fighting for just causes as a revolutionary he still never gave up on his dream.
Unfortunately, the WG turned him in to a deceptacon.
They didn't even give him a true transformation ability.
They just threw him that hat and said "now you're a bear".
