so she cannot be blamed for his aspirations but she certainly didn't help.
If you are insinuating that I fully blame Dandan for inspiring Luffy and Ace into becoming pirates then you are wrong.
I just find it ironic that Garp would leave his grandson to a criminal rather than another Marine if anyone. Like you said though, there has to be a logical reason as to why Garp trusts her.
Also, isn't the idea of the "seas getting worse" very subjective and depends on which side of the law you are on? For the Marines and the citizens in the Grand Line, things have gotten worse but for Pirates, I am not sure if it all that catastrophic and dare I say, welcomed.
I am sorry but I must disagree. True that the citizens of the world are in for an era of danger and negativity but pirates MIGHT even have it worst.
You might be thinking of the crews that are now inspired into finding One Piece after hearing it confirmed from WB mouth. Now that there are alot more "pirates" growing balls and heading toward One Piece, that will increase not only the violence against citizens but also most definitely increase the violence between pirates themselves.
At the same time the pirates of old and new now have to worry more about the Marines and the WG, since they have just witnessed how serious justice is to them.
