@Flagg1982:
Why Hancock won't joi_n_
Hancock one shot pacifistas and she's capable of easily kicking Smoker's (Luffy's marine rival) ass. Her feats of extreme power are well documented. She would render the monster trio hierarchy that Oda developed for 450+ chapters obsolete.
She's so damn powerful she would stifle the growth in power of Nami, Chopper, Franky and Usopp.
That's why I think that Oda caused the seperation. He wanted the Strawhats to learn to fend on themselves when no one Luffy and others aren't around to count on so they could get strong on their own.
She has the same King disposition haki as Luffy: she already has what will be Luffy's next power up. Only the number 1 and/or number 2 in the crew can have such a powerful and rare haki. Think Rayleigh, Shanks or WB. Hancock will never be number 1 or number 2 in that crew. Those positions have been filled for ever. It would be ridiculous for a King's disposition haki user to be the only the 4th strongest in the crew.
True, she does have KDH, but she said herself that Luffy's surpasses her own. A second haki user (after a few arcs probably tenth) in the crew wouldn't be a bad thing.
If she joins the strawhats and openly betray the WG her island will be destroyed. Her sisters are not powerful enough to become Warlords or to protect the island against a Buster call anyway. Boa's joining condemns her entire people to death ffs.
Like I said before, they are an island of HAKI users. Don't underestimate them because they might lose Hancock.
She looks too much like Robin physically. She wouldn't have much fun during parties just like Robin and wouldn't make crazy faces all the time…just like Robin.
Sure Robin and Hancock have similar form, but you never seen her at any party whatsoever. Since Luffy is one of the four people that she does open up to, all we know she could release her inner party animal during a party with Luffy and the crew.
She would upstage Nami, the main female protagonist of the manga. 500 chapters + 10 Movies of Nami wank down the drain because of Goddess Boa Hancock joining ? I don't think so.
Don't worry, Nami would just get a bigger bust. Just like she did before Robin joined. :ninja:
Hancock does have a tragic past but the problem is that we already know about it. She was a slave and was rescued by fisher tiger. She came back to AL and became empress and Warlord. Nothing new to add in a lengthy flashback.
I got two:
1. How she became an empress and a warlord?
2. How did Elder Nyon find the Sisters and what did she learned from Nyon?
Besides Frank and Brook's flashback weren't very lengthen, and guess what happened later.
What position would she fill on the ship? Ho ?
coughcabingirlcough
She's just too damn famous (Oda already played that card with Robin oops) and feared. Even in the NW she would be considered extremely powerful except maybe for the Yonkous and their immediate commanders.
You're overestimating her strength. She might be strong, but there might be people that will come in later in the New World that could surpass her strength probably 10x fold. So, someone like Jimbei or Hancock would be need for the Strawhats to at least stand a chance.
Her joining would troll the budding rivalry between MW, Kidd and Law's crews. How the fuck are they supposed to compete with that keeping in mind that the rest of the strawhats will get stronger too ? Boa could very well solo their respective crews if she wanted. This is ridiculous.
Kidd's, MW's, and Law's crews are very short so the strawhats over power them by numbers. Since they are already leaving SA to the New World, about time we meet them again, they'll have somebody in Hancock's level by then.
I know you did this for the lulz, but I couldn't help but counterattack it with logic.
