I hate when that happens. I have a tornado watch. Supposedly a powerful wind storm is headed my way.
You too huh?
Man the winds must be rough today. Then again, I should've guested that when they put just about half of Michigan under a Tornado Watch/Warning/Whatever.

@I:
Sending out an APB on iSheep! Hey–you still with us?!? Feeling better yet? Been to the doctor yet? You haven't posted since you wrote that your throat and head still ached. I'm worried about you. You get pnuemonia or something? HAs anyone seen this poster elsewher on the forums?
K yesterday was my first day--spent 10.5 hours there. I'm still beat after a full night's rest, and getting ready to head out for my second day. Have a good one posters--post well. Fingers crossed that the Gods gift us today with good things OP-ish in nature. LOL
woah, woah, don't worry, I'm better know. I've been to the doctor, and It turned out It was fuckin' Pharyngitis combined with a nasty migrane. Doc gave me some antibiotica and painkillers, so It's much better know. Sleeping is still akward, but I just hope I can sleep normally again when I'm fully cured.
I'm just not allowed to smoke, which kind of drives me nuts, but I guess I could take this as a chance for a little break.
Anyway, thanks for asking about my condition, I'm sure you are an awesome mom. -
My university has the best pens I fucking love this thing the grip on it is so awesome

Grip on….extremely large pens.....

But I can totally understand.
I don't know why I'm here. I have about one hour to prepare for my Statistics test. I'm so godsmacking myself right now.

It's too warm for late October here. The heat was on in the science building, and it was unbearable. We had to both open the windows and turn on the AC, it was that bad.
And now I really should be doing work.

Yeah, those Greeks. "Moderation in all things," except…
Lest we not forget that this is the only god to warn tresspassers he will physicaly rape them .
I warn you, boy, you will be screwed; girl, you will be fucked;
a third penalty awaits the bearded thief.
If a woman steals from me, or a man, or a boy,
let the first give me her cunt, the second his head, the third his buttocks.
My dick will go through the middle of boys and the middle of girls,
but with bearded men it will aim only for the topAnyway the day has been kind of okay so far . Finlay beat Hard Head 2 and given I have to beat all Mame games in one sitting because all the ones I play don't suport save states , that added to the frustration . At least the final boss only took one try to beat .

Hooray. We learned about 5 more ways to write the same sound in Arabic. And there's a midterm on Thursday. And I have to write an English paper by Thursday.
Edit: Fuck rereading the entire goddamn book looking for evidence to support my claims.
-
Yesterday evening kinda weirded me out . Ya see , I was reading this article on "Earth after humans will dissapear"…and my mother was watchign a documentary about the exact same thing at the same time in the next room .
Weird feeling it gave me .

So for my Psych. class, I'm required to got to a few research studies before the end of the semester, so today I participated in a study of memory that sounded fun.
It was a study of the effect of Tetris on memory~! Woohoo Russian goodness ^0^
It was pretty basic. They did a memory test to see how my memory was at the moment, and then they had me play tetris for about half an hour, and then they did another memory test.
Quite fun, if I do say so myself.
-
I'm getting my test grades in about 45 minutes.
I feel like throwing up…I'm so scared.
God, I don't want to drop out of this class.
-
I asked out this guy out whom I've had a crush on and he said yes.
Guess how my day was.
-
today i had

nothing great..
and saturday I´m going to the International Automotive Hall of São Paulo -
I asked out this guy out whom I've had a crush on and he said yes.

Nice. Congrats.
Took my Arabic midterm which surprisingly wasn't bad. Just some dictation and connecting letters.
Just sitting here relaxing waiting for Metro 2033 to finish downloading.

Funny, I just asked out the girl I mentioned earlier for a dinner date and got not just a yes, but an enthusiastic one. Then we texted in sarcastic hip hop lingo to say goodnight.
-
A good friend of mine who I have no interest in romantically just asked me to her sorority's formal dance, which promises good catered food and free bottles of champagne.
It really just seems like a favor to her, but I'd like to think that she asked me (as opposed to any of her other "just-friends" guy friends) because I'm getting jacked from going to the gym every day since June. That or my charismatic personality. -

Oh, awesome.
High five for eternal love.

I should've wrote this yesterday but still, i celebrated my birthday then. =)
Got like 1000 kr (100 dollars) as total, im saving money to buy good glasses.Today im gonna go to the movies and watch Scott Pilgrim.
-
I'm thinking of continuing Arabic now. The only other class that fits in with my schedule is a math one. And I really don't want to take math.
-
@Gigglepuffy:

This could be misconstrued in many ways…

I'm with ya there brother .
I especialy like when there are rules that are cardinal to the subject that they never put into the textbooks , even on a tutorial problem .
They just expect you to figure out "oh , you move graphs to the minus side when there's a plus in the equation and vice versa" by….using your psychic powers I guess .
Anyway today was not that bad . Got a can of thai curry and ate half of it for dinner and that's realy all that happened .
-
Today sucked. The whole day was boring as fuck and now it's Friday night and I have nothing to do because all my friends are dildos all of a sudden.
-
This week has been pretty slow for me, besides my new radio show airing. Couldn't get a ride to the Rally to Restore Sanity/Fear, so I'm just going to go to a Halloween open mic today and party with radio people tomorrow.
Right now, I'm getting used to wearing an eyepatch… Not for a halloween costume. Not for an injury either. I just want to wear an eyepatch from now on. It's really cool, seeing the world without depth perception. The eye adjusting effect is also fun to play around with.
-
Rather tired, just came back from Wing Chun..
-
Homework, homework, homework and my Aunt dealing with the death of her cat was the highlight of my week.
And yay, been on here for over a year now :)
-
So I get done taking a test and I'm walking back to my dorm, when all of a sudden I see a man in a trench coat on the other side of the street.
I thought it was a streaker at first, then I took a closer look. It was a freakin' Rorschach cosplayer.
Major props to that man~!

Man, tonight sucked. There is this event in our town where every bar/pub has bands performing live. You basically buy one ticket and have free entrance to every bar/pub. So it's everything I like: Live music (mostly rock), a lot of drunk people, our boring bars are finally interesting again and for a change there's something going on in our town.
But hey, Chocula's boring friends strike again:
Everyone was tired, had to get up early in the morning or was at a wedding or a birthday. There were only 4 friends who wanted to go with me:Friend A: Was excited all week and wanted to totally get wasted and have a blast tonight - he didn't even come because he wanted to talk to his long distance relationsip on the phone all night.
Friend B: Didn't want to drink, was tired and went home at 11.
Friends C & D: Were total buzzkills all night, bitched about everything, drank 1 shot and then went home at 12:30.
I didn't want to be the weird guy who hangs out alone at a bar with a bottle of vodka. So now I'm home, drunk, annoyed and complaining on the internet even though nobody cares.
-
I care. This sucks. I can totally understand you.
-
Went to the Rally to Restore Sanity and or Fear and it was awesome! Had a hell of a lot of fun there and it was packed! John Stewart and Stephen Colbert were hilarious together. They make such a great comedy dual. More importantly the message they got across was the real prize. I think people took different things away from the rally and what I took away was, "Screw the media and its fear mongering nazi pirate agenda!"
Lol, no I'm just kidding. Really the message is slightly along those lines but filled with hope that America is in hard times not the end of times. The political BS and media circus doesn't define us, it only hinders us, but we can get past it.
-
Hey, I was there too! I remember seeing a sign that said "YOU ARE TEARING ME APART LISA!" It made my day.
Getting back was a pain in the fucking ass though god there were so many people JEGUS. And of course the metro was packed so I couldn't go back that way, so I got back home at 6:10 or so.
-

I was staying over a friend's house and rode my bike from there and since he lives in D.C. it wasn't too bad of traffic for us but yes, the place was packed!
"You're tearing me apart Lisa!"
LOL! I saw a sign that said, "Make use of the 2nd Amendment, shoot a Teabagger!" I saw a lot of crazy signs and costumes. Great time.

Today i was sooo busy
from 17:00 to 23:00

Discussing how his friends screwed with his night.
sidles up to ya at the bitching bar
Sounds like you and me had similar nights. Least your friends actually went for a bit though.
I was all hyped to go out to a Halloween party at the bars tonight, but my friend backed out last minute, and everyone else had other plans. But I say to myself 'screw it, I'm going out anyway, alone or not. It's Halloween!' So I spend all day getting my costume together, and head out awhile ago.
Only to be the butt of a group of guys jokes (fat chick in the club by herself, hurr hurr), not get talked to, and find out I'm a cheap drunk (3 drinks in, and I'm buzzed). 'Bout an hour+ in, I decide the night's fucked and come home, embarrassed, depressed, and slightly fuzzy. There's a day of my life and about $100 I'll never get back.
What really pisses me off is I was actually really, really pleased with how my costume came out, with only $30 and a few hours of work put into it, and it was wasted.
I'm still getting dressed up to hand out treats tomorrow night, because it's STILL Halloween, dammit. Those adorable kiddies in costumes are all that's left to salvage this weekend for me. Don't let me down, kids!
-
find out I'm a cheap drunk (3 drinks in, and I'm buzzed).
Seriously- don't let that get you down. I went out for a friend's 21st tonight (first to this great korean restaurant, then to her co-ed frat), and she celebrated by having each of us buy this ghetto-ass 24oz lager called "Hurricane High Density" at the gas station convenience store. I had a single Hurricane + one Coronita (super-tiny Corona that I won in some dumbass mystery beers contest at the frat) about 3 hours ago and my head is still spinning.
But you know what? It's great. My friends had to keep downing nasty-ass vodka shots to get where I still am now, while I'm giggling like an idiot and feeling super-relaxed the whole time.
Honestly being a cheap drunk seems like a positive from my point of view. You'll spend less in the end and get to where you want to go quicker. I can't believe it, but I'm actually still there (and somehow writing without any egregious errors).
-
Yeah, I always viewed it like that too. I don't say it to brag but I can drink a lot. It seems cool but it really is a pain to always have to drink a lot of disgusting shit to be properly drunk. I always feel like it would be much easier to just be totally wasted after 2-3 shots. However the good thing is that you're not always the person who is drunk first and needs to be looked after while everyone else is still pretty sober. Plus, it's not that easy to overdo it and pass out for example.
That never happened to me. I only puked twice from drinking too much and I had a bit of a blackout the next morning. I never pass out or something like that because I'd really have to drink a shitload of booze.
-
Now see, if it had been a better night, I wouldn't have minded the realization I'm a cheap drunk. But considering I'm a crier on a sober day, being less in control tonight led me to being a tearstreaked, makeup-running mess on the busiest road in town/the bus ride home. Hence additional embarrassment, and wanting to cry more. A pathetic cycle.
So yeah, on a night I'm actually having fun, I'm sure the cheapness will be great (just have to remember to nurse the suckers a bit longer. A Smirnoff Ice and two rum & coke did me in). It was just a bad night to discover it, is all.
-
Oh god I so hope that no one will knock on my door. I really have nothing to give cause I have no money. Only have a cholocolate pudding and a few apples and some bread…
-
oh Rebecky, I'm sorry you're having a bad night. I hope you feel better soon. :/ go pop in some scary movie and scream your head off, maybe you'll feel better.
-
A boring but busy day so far. Spent most of the morning researching graphic cards, memory, processor speeds, fans, desktop cases, reviews and much much more.
Then moved onto taxes, phone bills, car insurance, mot & tax, banking, receipts and mortgage crap. Then wrapped it up with some lengthy calculations regarding monthly outgoings against my wages.
Now I'm designing a work top to house my HDTV, PS3, speakers & soon to arrive gaming PC. I'm trying to mimic something similar to this…
1GFY-AgNAm4It is just so damn perfect! -
I like the fact that hardly anyone in England, apart from 5 year olds, gives a fuck about the commercialised holiday occurring today.
Can't wait for Nov 5th…
-
Lucky them.
Meanwhile, my doorbell keeps ringing and I'm on sweetgiving duty =_= -

1GFY-AgNAm4It is just so damn perfect! If you're thinking of using a TV to use your computer with, I'd advise against it. While you're able to get a larger TV, the resolution is lower than a monitor and it won't look as good.

I'm still not sure on the monitor as I have a 32" & 20" tv available. Probably go for the smaller of the two as its got a really high spec despite it being a few years old. (quality over quantity)
Btw what i5 have you got? I've improved my gaming spec and noticed a few things about the various i5 models in the process. In short the ghz level might be a bit misleading due to the amount & setup of the cores.
Edit: Getting the Intel i5 760 instead.
(having it pushed well over 3.0ghz too) -
Yeah, I have the 760 as well. I haven't run into any reason to overclock yet either, which is good. I still want to know why my computer shuts off at random times, though. I don't know where to start, though, and am too lazy to look for the problem .

Lol I don't blame you…
By the way you wouldn't happen to know anything about hard drives? I'm stuck on sata II, III and solid state drives...
...what is the difference? I can't find find anything useful listing the pro's & con's.

played mw2 , yugioh and skate with 2 friends …
yeah

I'm pretty sure mine's a sata 2.
Solid State Drives use memory chips to store stuff instead of a disc like in HDDs. Sata 3 is just a faster version of sata 2.
-
So would you go for SATA III or solid state?
