He then uses his stolen-byakugan skillz to see the weird chakra that Danzou is whippin' out. He identifies the arm and right side of the face as Itachi's ol' bestie, and assumes that Danzou had a similar operation (medical transplant). However, we are to assume that the transplant was incomplete to a degree since he is seeking out Pedochimaru's secret kiddy porn collection jutsu encyclopedia, but he still can use some of the abilities that at least the eye provides. Moving on, Ao[i?] approaches him about the matter or something…and...like...suggests that the Jedi mind trick doujutsu he is using or can use was what controlled the previous Mizukage? And Sasuke is still gay? Is that all right?

If you want to me be honest with you, I can't provide some great argument to change your opinion of One Piece being greater than Jojo part 1. I just enjoyed it more.

I just enjoyed the relationship between Dio and Jonathan. I thought it was entertaining to watch Dio do everything within his power to try and destroy Jonathan mentally and physically. And I also loved Zepelli.

A bomb meant to kill everyone in a war zone is taken point blank by a guy carrying a bomb. We get this nice little final message from him and then boom. His sacrifice was noble, and respectable, I loved it… until "my grave?"
Same with Skypeia, Enel is using lighting and frying people directly through the brain, only for them to be okay moments later.
Pell surviving was lame, but if you're getting angry about the superhuman people surviving superhuman powers then you're wasting your energy completely.
No, I'm not saying someone needs to die for the story to be deep or great, but if your gonna present a situation where the person is giving their life as a sacrifice, shouldn't they die?

So a random Mist ninja that stole a Byakagan eye meets Danzou once and instantly figure out his has a chakra similar to the Sharigan eye Shisui has. Besides, the half a Magic Eyeball 2 set being able to sense something about Magic Eyeball 1 that an entire village of full magic eyeball 2's can't is silly in and of itself. Not even factoring in when Magic Eyeball 3 visited town in his 6 bodies, or that no one has ever mentioned anything of the sort relating to Kakashi's Magic Eyeball 1. But then, KabutoMaru with magic half a snake face and eyeball set number 4 might be able to shed light on this, with or without curse mark seal mode 1, 2 or 3. But hey, Naruto can activate Magic Eyeball mode 5 when he uses the 9 tails, (and his 9 tails mode has 9 distinct forms within itself) and Naruto has a magic eyeball # 6 when he uses Sage mode, and combine the two, thus making a new magic eyeball number 7 unique to him… and thats not even counting the fact that magic eyeball 1 has at least 7 different variations to it that are all triggered by some random narrative happenstance, and also happen to go blind if they don't come from your own brother. And I'm not even going to go into Lee and Gai's 8 gates...
But Danzo is definatley Tobi, who has said he's Madara, so Danzo is Madara. Unless he's lying. Or skitso. Skitzo is definatley a possible side effect of magic eyeballs.

I had heard people say the first part was bad before I read it too. It's not perfect and the art might not be to your liking, but it's not absolute trash like TheHerald keeps saying.

He's certainly earned it from me, being that I've reread the Manga lately and have come to appreciate the thought he's put into the progression and experiences the characters have gone through, as much as I dispise Kishimoto's pace. As annoying as Sasuke is, Kishimoto has presented the main character Naruto Uzumaki–meant to surpass all those before him--with an incredible feat to overcome. As terriblely convenient as certain plot points are when brought to light (like Ao's Byakugan) from my perspective, Kishimoto's not gone in half-cocked and actually knows what he's doing. Crazy, I know, but I was saying for months before Itachi's revelation that he was actually a good guy (not that anybody else could have figured it out), and I pretty much have a similar feeling about where the story is going.
Honestly, as is, I think Kishimoto's going to connect the dots in this arc just as he does as of recent with Naruto in the Pain Invasion arc.

@the herald: Dio stopped pursuing Jonathan's dad's will because Jonathan burned the entire house to the ground. There wasn't much for Dio to take besides the land. (assuming the Joestars didn't have a bank account or something)
Also, he had to recover from his burn wounds and kill jonathan before he could get any rights to the estate anyway. Since there's no way Jonathan would let him have it.

Because up until now no one has looked at Kakashi or Danzo or Tobi and gone "Hey, you have a wierd chakra path as if you have a magic eyeball surgically implanted into you". Its possible that others have looked, but no one has made a point of it before.

Lots of people were saying that way in advance, due to conveniant holes left in the backstory and the fact he never actually killed anyone else. Regardless of Itachi's intention, it doesn't change that fact the the long anticipated showdown between him and Sasuke was an endless fight full of fake outs, one after another.

Here's where I have to disagree with you. The Pain arc was more than 30 chapters, EIGHT MONTHS of perfect opportunity for the supporting cast having a chance to do something and doing nothing except standing around and going "We're useless, we'll just get in the way"… followed by broken powerup after broken powerup from Naruto,(he shouldn't have gotten a recharged sage mode after going 8 tails) followed by Naruto literally finishing his oponent by repeating "I believe in Jiraiya" over and over to counteract Pains "I don't believe in Jiraiya".
It also had some of the most pathetic and bland villainy ever in Pain, (looked boring, had mostly boring abilities, boring personality) lamest villain backstory ever (my puppy died, and for that I must cause PAIN!!!) minimal signifigance to the little character growth there was including Hinata's confession, (which STILL ahsn't been followed up on) losses, (Kakashi's eye is just fine after being poked out, ) and the characters that "lived" and "died" throughout weren't treated with any grief (Choji's dad is okay! But Kakashi is mumble mumble) and worst of all, EVERYTHING was deus ex machina-ed back to being just fine at the end. EVERYTHING. Thus ammounting to 8 months of story being wasted, except for taking out Tsunade, which could have been done in some other way.
You can like the other story elements all you want, and Kishi may be pulling stuff together, but the Pain arc is easily THE worst one of the series to date, and also one of the longest while it was at it. Certainley the largest waste of time due to NOTHING happening because of the DEUS EX MACHINA at the end. Which I bring up again, because it really was THAT bad a copout.

No, I'm just saying its a message board where we discuss theories and what has come before and what will come. Unless an idea is INCREDIBLY stupid, no one is going to mock you for it and it may in fact lead to discussion if you have an interesting point or what seems to be an accurate bead on what comes next, and its silly to hold them in until later. And often if its stupid enough, people will play off of it and have fun with it.
Also, "coward" was a perfect setup for you to retort with Snape's line of "Don't call me a coward!" and then say something brilliant and insightful, as if you didn't actually want to kill Dumbledore and it was the hardest thing you ever did, thus disproving all suspicions we had about your true ideas or motive.

Yeah, that defined the whole arc. But I do admit that Kishi has a better idea of what he's doing than Kubo…that's his only real advantage and it isn't much of one. (mostly cause being more lucid on plot progression than Kubo...doesn't make him more lucid than Oda or the Jump mangaka that are actually plot bound...not counting the gaggier ones like a Sorachi, an Usuta or an Akimoto)

Kubo's whole story are shocking plot twists and "cooler than though" powers. Kishi at least can write a plot compared to him.
^that's what I was about to say. And backgrounds, let's not forget those.
Kubo doesn't abandon his side characters though, which is a good thing.
If you took the good of Kubo and the good of Kishi, you'd have one amazing manga.
Bit of a double-edged sword. By focusing on the side characters to the point that Kubo has, the story moves along more slowly than molasses. I'm really starting to get tired of the Fake Karakura arc and wish we could just move on to something else.

I've only liked Bleach up to volume 4, everything afterward was pure shit.
But this last year, I decided to do a test since I kept hearing Bleach was an extremely slow story.
In July of '08, I began reading the weekly chapters.
I didn't go back and read the whole story. The last thing I remember happening was all of Ichigo's little fwiends got super powers (when I dropped the story completely). I promised to only read it for about a year. And I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't research anything no matter how confused I became.
After all, I was reasonably certain that Kubo would inform me in grand shounen style of what was happening.
Results? I still have no idea what's going on in the current arc, and I've stopped reading it completely again.
I feel no loss.
But I do feel a bit cheated. Because I still had memories of a slightly better story (if there was really one - been a while), with less fights, and all right humor.
And even Kishimoto told me what the fuck was happening. After a few chapters of reading Naruto after a long time, I found out what was going on and a slight idea of who all the new people were.
With Bleach? Not the case.

Bleach is a waste of time - this last year proves that.
