@AppleSauce:
The Future that your speaking of has so far Shown us nothing that changed. Until Shown what has changed, what we have remains as Fact Because thats what the author has given us. Thinking that they are not the same because times have changed would be speculating because thats something coming from our own opinions and not the author.
Whitebeard Title was given by the Author that his the Strongest. Did we see anything to doubt this title could have changed over the years?? NO… we did not see anything suggesting otherwise. Even in the present War, No one came close to be able to defeat A man on the Verge of death. It took literary an army from all sides to kill this man. Nothing Suggesting against the fact that Times have changed. I know Times changing is a big theme in One piece. However, UNTIL SHOWN OTHERWISE WHAT CHANGED, WHAT WE HAVE REMAINS AS FACT. Noting has been given to us that can suggest that WB had a Equal or anyone close to him.
When you're trying to prove that Whitebeard is by far the strongest and the other yonkou aren't even close, it would be wise to have some proof of the Yonkou's power. The other yonkou weren't there, the three other strongest pirates took no part in it. And let's not exaggerate. The war wasn't, "The war to kill Whitebeard" everyone in the war wasn't going after Whitebeard, and two of the strongest ones on the other side didn't fight him at all. (Garp and Sengoku, and Garp should be just as strong as Whitebeard given your Times don't change theory.) And you're still ignoring my point. It's not that Whitebeard is or isn't the strongest, it's the fact that his title itself proves nothing in the situation, and really the war doesn't prove that he's the strongest either.
a truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true
I want to give you the definition of fact: This means that Whitebeard being the strongest in the world can't be true, because it literally can't be observed within the manga at this point, since he's dead. He'd have to fight every other pirate strong pirate who might want to take the title. Here's an example. Hypothetically, if Mihawk were to lose to Shilliew in a fight who is the strongest swordsman in the world? Was Mihawk the strongest until he was beaten, or was Shilliew already stronger and just waiting for his chance to fight Mihawk knowing he would win. In essence: STOP USING THE WORD FACT, THE WAY YOU'RE USING IT IS STUPID!
They are Rivals + They fought Legendary Battles… That means they are Equals. Just like how Aoikiji and Akainu did. Shanks Challenges Mihawk to a fight yet Mihawk says his not interested in fighting a 1 armed man.
No, we know that they dueled many times and that's it. What does a sword duel even look like for them? Does it last ten days until one barely comes out on top? Don't compare them. And why the hell would you bold Legendary Battles. That doesn't make them equals. In the scheme of things, Crocodile and Luffy fought legendary battles, are they equal? Who knows? Not you or me.
Mihawk Remains as the Greatest Swordsmans in the World. Nothing Suggest that this has changed. UNTIL SHOWN OTHERWISE WHAT CHANGED, WHAT WE HAVE REMAINS AS FACT. That means that if Shanks and Mihawk fought we should expect their fight to be Just like Akainu's and Aoikiji's, and Mihawk winning in the end. That means their Equals.
It's not a fact because it's not something that we've observed for sure. Oda could surprise us at any turn, and I already explained hypothetical situations before.
Your doubting What the Author gives us and use "Time" to speculate that they are not the same… Well, UNTIL SHOWN OTHERWISE WHAT CHANGED, WHAT WE HAVE REMAINS AS FACT.
I'm not speculating, I'm giving logical possibilities. (not in the sense that I think that they're what is going to logically occur, but that they can logically occur.)
If your are Implying they are Equals than your wrong. WB was not interested in what Most pirates want. Had he really wanted he could have gotten rid of his competition. Shanks is also the same. He travels all over the world and Parties. WB and Shanks Objectives are Obviously different from most Pirates. We don't know about Big Mom and Kaido.
So we know Whitebeard's and Shanks situation to a degree, but we don't know Kaido and Big Mom's so therefore we can make a generalization about all three. Wait…
They are the most Powerful Pirates. Not the strongest. As individuals their might be a handful of pirates out their who can Probably beat Kaido and Big Mom. The Title of Yonkou sure would mean they are capable of holding their own, but I personally believe it Varies greatly just like the Shichibukai. They are never said to be Equals.
We have no reason to think that, you're speculating. You can have an opinion on it, but you can't use your opinion to argue.
I copied and pasted all of that last post. Because I had already addressed everything that you've brought up, even though you said I didn't….. Again read a few pages of this thread and stop making me repeat myself. Shanks Exchanged a Blow with WB... Akainu Deflected WB's Blow, after a while Akainu was tasting concrete.
Exchanging or blocking attacks means noting. Zoro was Able to Block Aoi kiji's attack. The other Three might be close in Strength. But not WB Because I've already shown it in my previous post. WB is a League of his own. People who are Shanks Equals or who have been able to harm him are no match for WB.
You can't compare Shanks fight with Whitebeard with Akainu's because we don't know what happened after the block. So assuming that Shanks would be tasting concrete is a fallacy. We can't assume anything about the other three yonkou, especially since we don't know their goals, dreams, or strengths. When Oda excluded them from the war, he left room for many possibilities without implying many. You best keep your facts out of here.
