Having the main protagonist lose his final fight and learn a lesson isn't anything deep, and it's been done before. Ever read Yu Yu Hakusho?

I don't care if Luffy wins or loses his final fight, as long as he accomplishes his dream. That's what this series is about. In fact, I'm still gunning for the final fight to be Laboon vs. Luffy. I don't think the outcome will even be shown.

Well, so far, Crocodile has seemingly been the youngest Shichibukai. Doflamingo, Kuma, Moria and Mihawk all seem to be older men, Crocodile was… what, 32? That's the same age as Franky.

Personally I think Doflamingo looks younger than Crocodile. If I remember correctly none of them have ages attached to them yet, though I imagine Mihawk is close to Shanks, who is 38.

What makes me think Doflamingo is old is his behavior: He waddles like an old man rather than walking straight up; he talks in a manner that makes others seem young and inexperienced, and he's (supposedly) helping Whitebeard, another old man. Plus, he bears a striking resemblance to Dexter Holland.

Also, isn't his laugh that of an old man? It's through his nose, which is the most annoying laugh in the world.

There's plenty of characters that act above their age. (Zoro's sleeping habits, Arlong being a respected gang-leader at age 15 in Nami's flashback.)

Besides, those habits seem more like a homage to the actual character of Don Quixote rather than a typical old man.

crocodile was a badass of the highest caliber. I mean Blackbeard explains that Logia Users are not used to being physically hit due to their abilities, however Crocodile stood up to Luffy even after he had figured out his weakness.

And the main requierement to become a shichibukai is to be well known and feared, for whatever reason. So they can be used to "intimidate" other pirates, as the High Admiral stated in the assembly.

I can assure you that having a Logia on your side of a war is not a bad idea in the slightest. Crocodile may have had a low bounty, but he was still pretty strong and could easily defeat a lot of Pirates as was shown when he dispatched a band of pirates with no effort. That's why he was hired. Also, his weakness really isn't that obvious, or else people would have already figured it out.

Crocodile didn't make the Shichibukai because of one move, he got in because they recognized his rising power and influence. They stopped him before he doubled his bounty, remember, so it's clear that he was movin' on up to the East Side before they recruited him.

Youngest? He always looked like one of the older Shichibukai to me. He doesn't strike me as very young.

Doflamingo doesn't seem like he's waddling to me either. He's just extremely bowlegged. Also, Crocodile's laugh isn't exactly typical of a young man, and he has his hair slicked back and he's in very decent clothes along with him having quite some knowlegde and experiance with companies. He could still be young with experiance if he was in the business for most of his life, but he said he strarted out chasing One Piece, and then gave up on it, which makes me think that he has been on the seas for a while.

Even if Luffy did defeat a Yonkou i serously dobut if the whole crew can defeat the crew of the current Yonkous.

We've only seen two Yonkou crews, and I think the SHs could defeat their respective crews. I mean, they defeated thousands of government soldiers at Enies Lobby and took down 200 powerful Marines, who would be around the level of a higher-tier Yonkou crew member.

The only members of the Yonkou's crews, that we know of, that could be trouble are:
Marco, who I guess Sanji or whoever would fight. He doesn't look armed.
Jozu, who's just physically strong. Franky-material.
Rockstar, I guess.
Ben Beckham
Yassop, who I guess would have to fight Usopp.
Lucky Roux.

That's assuming they'd take on Shanks, which they probably would never do, and WB's crew doesn't seem to have enough notable crew members to give them trouble, since Shanks knocked most of the flag-ship members anyway.

I doubt that the SH could defeat a Yonkou and their crew at this level. Of course, the only thing we really know is that Rockstar was new recruit for Shanks at 94 Million. Yeah, all of the members probably aren't up to that, but as a new recruit that no one on WB crew even cared about is something. IF the new guys are coming in at that level, then we know that the more powerful ones are well above a bounty level like that and are more than most likely much stronger.

So they may stand a chance against a Yonkou by looking at how they handled Moria, but they have crews that seem to be massive in scale and with very powerful individuals. Some of them might be like BB. He was nameless yet immensly powerful even without his fruit.

If croc was as weak as people always seem to think ( and he was not weak at all) he wouldn't have been a shichibukai for more than one year but fact is that he was one for at least more than 5 years ….........................................................weakness easy to find my ass .

He wouldn't have been there that long if he was so easy to deal with , you don't need to down play a character because you want to make another character look strong.

As for why his bounty was low , i think we got the response trough blackbeard and sengoku , in order to join the warlords you have to :

_being a worldwide known pirate.
_being strong enough to beat a 100 millions pirate .

As long as you fulfill one of the 2 or if you are both , you can be part of the warlords , luffy and zoro can be warlord themselves but there is something they still don't have and that croc and the others have , it's called EXPERIENCE , the warlords have been pirates for years while luffy and his gang are pirates only for less than a year.
They are gaining experience as the time is going but they are still less experienced than the warlords .

And i guess that zoro would be weak if he was a warlord because his bounty would be the lowest if we use the logic some tend to use with croc because his bounty is lower than croc's active bounty which is 162 millions , zoro's is 120 millions .

See people ? That's why we can't say a warlord is WEAK because his bounty is LOW .

Wow, you're ignorant. Bounty does not equal strength, that's been made clear multiple times. Besides, they're making his bounty right now, so it won't be 0 for long.

And Luffy's bounty was 0 in the beginning. Are you saying that before he defeated Arlong, he was the weakest pirate in the world?

As we all have guessed the final fight to decide the pirate king will be between luffy and the following:

Whitebeard
Blackbeard
Shanks

and possibily the strongest man to ever live in the one piece world GOL D. ROGERS. I am still not convinced this man was captured and then decapitated by mere WG soldiers for his execution. someone of his stature and strength to take on enemies as strong as any of the yonkou and his countless battles between him and whitebeard makes me think he is still alive somehow. luffy will have to fight someone extremely strong to the point where he'll probablydiscover a new gear. Shanks being on the level of whitebeard he could possibly push luffy to that limit. If anyone disagrees, please send a reasonable explination, or correction to my theory. Thanks.

Luffy didn't defeat any yonkou ;-)

I think what you quoted was something like a type 2 conditional sentence.
In this case the simple past (did) expresses not an action in the past but a condition.

_In order to express the unreal, the hypothetical, the speculative, or imagined (all those being the same in this case), English has adopted an interesting habit of moving time one step backward.

For present unreal events, we put the verb in the condition clause one step back — into the past:

If the Bulls won another championship, Roberto would drive into Chicago for the celebration._

Even if Luffy defeated an emperor, 123 would still doubt that the SHs can defeat his crew.

what u have said makes no sense, but if luffy was to defeat an yonkou it would most likely be shanks, being they have close history shanks would only say he wouldn't be holding back in a fight with luffy, when actualality he would be holding some of his strength back, i mean he's an emperor after all he is one the same equal footing as whitebeard when it comes to battle.

And as for the Yonkou, I can't think of anything interesting or new to comment on. What we know and don't know is so clear cut that there's nothing to say.

Seeing it as in what high respect Arlong and his homies held Nami´s map drawings skills I´d say that even if some regions are mapped having her maps would be better then the ones that already exist.

Besides she want´s her own map of the world, so it practically doesn´t matter what other´s have done so far.

Jesus, it seems like she'd want to focus on the un-mapped areas before she maps the rest. I mean, sure, when they've reached Raftel and have conquered the Grand Line, they can travel everywhere else, but seriously, it makes more sense to draw the New World and such first.
