75 minutes would just spoil the chapter. It means lots of "do nothing" time, which is bad enough at an episode per half a chapter.

She is most likely going to learn how to use haki soon though right? Haki most likely increases power and allows you to bypass DF's so that could be the only power up she really needs. Not to mention she is the most intelligent crew member so she could be a kind of haki "specialist" in a way.
personaly i don't think se will learn haki, it seems something that
you get from training and battles witch she doesn't do.
sill haki user still fell the effects of DF like frozen after punching aokiji
so she wouldn't win Mr1, maggelan and go on…

Now if Oda played this off as Akainu having a greater mastery over his fruit, I'll be all fine about it. Otherwise… err... Reminds me of the intense hot lightening not burning rubber to a crisp of Skypiea.
I stopped trying to think too much about Oda logic after Zoro put his third sword in his mouth.
Here's what I came up with.
What happens when a volcano erupts and magma rolls over a piece of land? A fire is created that continues to burn and do more damage. Therefore as a source of creation, Magma would hierarchialy (sp?) be greater than fire, because fire cannot create magma.Similar to how Ace would have been able to beat Smoker in Alabasta had he stayed to fight., because fire creates smoke, not the other way around. However, he didn't really fight he just ran to catch up to Luffy.
That's what I think anyways.

We didn't see him again after that, but if a rise in magma is any indication, Vista might have cut him somewhere in the shoulder, maybe the Jugular.

I like the idea of it. But would magma technically fuel fire or put it out? Either way, Oda's depiction of fire getting burnt by magma still feels funny to me. Fire getting burnt… pufft...

Yes rain affects them, they get wet just like everyone else. It'll only be a problem for someone like Crocodile though whose logia weakness is water.

I thought only standing water affects DF users? Pouring water like rain or a shower is ok?
Then what about a waterfall? DF user stands on a rock/platform under the waterfall.

The whole magma being thrown on a fire and wiping it out like dirt on fire always made sense to me.
More importantly, Oda has never shown Ace has mastery of his DF like Croc has. On top of that Ace was protecting Luffy so you could argue he purposely stayed solid so the attack wouldn't go right through him and kill Luffy anyway.

I get the whole rock in magma putting out fire part, and that Ace probably stayed mostly solid to shield Luffy.
But before that, when Ace got mad and went at Akainu, he was burnt. His fire wasn't put out, his arm got burnt.

When ever Aokiji got bull rushed by Jozu he broke apart and spit up a lil blood, so I think that even though Logia do have regenerative powers they are still effected by the hit (possibly only when imbued w/ some haki) so because of ID Ace needed to have rest and medical help because he was already in a bad condition and then getting hit w/ something like that basically sapped the rest of his strength so his logia powers couldn't even regenerate fully the hole Akainu punched through him

If the Thriller Bark arc is anything to go by, it's the salt content of the water that aids in nullifying Devil Fruit abilities.
So rain, even heavy rain shouldn't have an affect, unless your fruit is naturally affected by such a thing: ala Crocodile. -

Well i doubt that logias can regenerate from fatal attacks like burned internals.
Still sad that Ace never displayed any forms of haki… But his will was far too weak as it seems...

I doubt that Logia can regenerate any sort of damage.
However they can more easily evade attack as elements I think, When their element they do not need to have the human form, they can bend their shape. Maybe Aokji did that to evade attacks, bend his form as fast as he could to evade most of the attack, however cause it was Haki attack if it touched part of him he would take damage. Aokji is Ice and can leave Ice behind him in the air where he was. So when he maybe attacked it was just left over ice.Well it atleast looks like that to me.

I've got a small list, though I can't decide if Oda's using Chinese or Greek mythology as a trend. (phoenix mythology)
I guess Oda could stir it up and vary his myths by taking them from different cultures/countries to avoid them becoming predictable.

Well, this one actually isn't so deep, so don't expect too much. It was cute when we had the three-headed judge at Enies Lobby that the Franky Family said was like Cerberus. Then when we got a 2nd, slightly more accurate Cerberus guarding the entrance to Thriller Bark, it became a theme. I guess I'd call it a strong feeling that these things tend to come in threes (plus the pun with three heads), with the most important one yet to come. Now, with the introduction of a mythical zoan, that'd be the most likely route for it. Oda has developed expectations from me after two imitations, and he's never really failed to deliver once my expectations have formed.
