@RobbyBevard:
It wouldn't. It's too dark, atypical, and full of mind games. It has its audience, a dedicated one, but doesn't have the same mass appeal.
Look at how many people on this board were confused by Alluka's powers and the rules, (and even gender) or what was going on in the elections, even though they were explained in depth. That kind of complexity is never going to reach all ages or be great for casual readers/viewers.
True. I guess it's just a case of a dedicated fanbase which can really help with series.
Now my only question is….when are we going to start getting people drawing pics of campaign posters? I know you'll want to.:ninja:

@Silverblade:
Leorio. Almost like he wasn't gone for a decade. Walks in, shouts at people, breaks heads.
But I wonder - did Ging get lucky or did he use Leorio for his goals? It looks like he deliberately chose to be hit by Leorio since it seems he had time to react. So was that just quick thinking on his part that a brash and brave newcomer will gather support with such an act and actually move elections forward?
Although, I'm quite worried Pariston might face an actual opposition from now on. I don't want that, Pariston for president! Only Pariston can be a deliciously evil President!
Obviously, Leorio is bada** enough to hit Ging without his assistance!
…Also, do your REALLY want to see that smiling face all the time? Really? It doesn't get on your nerves at all?
