Zoro's eye scar is intentional. Mihawk (Or he himself did it, knowing his history of inflicting wounds on himself.) He fights with only one eye in order to increase his skill. After all it is much harder to fight with a sword without good dept perception.
And I think Zoro's idea was something like this: ''Eyepatches dont work, I might take it of in a crisis. With this I cant use my other eye, so I will have to advance to the next level of swordsmanship with only one eye.''

Luffy's supposed to be roughly an inch taller than Nami, but since she's skinnier and drawn with longer legs, that doesn't often come across unless they're standing right next to each other.

We don't know if Fisher Tiger was near younkou or not, but I believe he wasn't. He was able to grind the Red Line, free slaves and survive. I'm sure they would reinforce the defenses there after it, but it doesn't change that much.
You've seem to forget who are the cannon balls that the WG uses to fight: the marines and admirals. Being the rulers doesn't mean you're stronger than all your subordinates.
The Gorousei are beasts; don't doubt it. They've got swords, battle-scars and they're old men who sit at the top of the world in a Shounen. With that kind of authority I bet they've got some super-rare and powerful Devil Fruits, too, like Mythological Zoan-types.
Maybe they're not stronger than the Admirals, but make no mistake, they'll still be monsters.

Hawkins' DF is a mythical zoan. 
I want to run these theories by people to check if they're stupid. If they are, I apologize.
1. (less stupid) Could Hyouzo stay relevant post-fishman island? Oda set him up a LONG time ago, that suggests he is important. Of course, I realize that his importance could simply be him fighting Zoro on FI. Oda has also made it obvious that he has no emotional ties to Hodi and company.
I'm thinking he could stay around as a rival for Zoro. I'm aware you could argue that Zoro already has a significantly high amount of potential rivals (Definites: Mihawk, Strong Possibilities: Shiryuu, Mr. 1, Tashigi and Killer), but he seems to have a similar mind to Zoro (possibly a little more evil), just without anybody pushing him towards his dream like Luffy did.
2. (more stupid) Might Kong and Dadan be siblings. While not identical, Dadan and Kong have very similar features, mostly in their face.
A. Their eyes. They are pretty much the same, but Dadan has eyelashes. They're the same shape, they curve down the same way, they've got the bags under them.
B. The lips. They've got the same puffy lips.
C. The nose. They have similar hook noses with lines coming off towards their lips.
D. The ears. They both have tiny ears that poke out from behind the cheekbone.
E. Build. They appear to have a similar build. Kong's arms are admittedly far larger than Dadan's but they both have massive torsos and necks.
It would also explain why Garp would choose to leave Luffy and Ace with her. Everybody has chalked Garp's decision up to him just being a fool, but perhaps there was some sort of failed strategy behind it.
Let me know what you think. Find strengths, poke holes (call me retard)ed. I want more opinions on my theories. The second one is pretty wild, but I don't think it's so out there that it's impossible.

As far as Hyozou being involved in the story going forward, I agree that he'll likely play at least some kind of role later in the story since he is the strongest fish swordsman. And while I agree he and Zoro have some similarities, like drinking and the whole lone-wolf motiff, the crucial difference is that Hyozou doesn't appear to have any kind of strong motivation or dream aside from profit. If he's hiding something then that will determine what kind of role he'll have in the future.

She's a bandid, so maybe it's the same as with Ace/Luffy: she should follow her sibling and become a good marine, but she decided not to. Not knowing about the tenryubito might be, just because she doesn't care.

Good point also they are all drawn by Oda so some of them are going to look the same even if they are not related.
