It's just too predictable, plus, he may just have a strong Will, which would be a good fight for luffy.

Akainu is gonna have a devil fruit, as much as you all hate the idea of each admiral being logia users, they are. akainu logia's could be a number of things red, like somone said blood, lava, or even plasma. If its a blood fruit, he'll have the same powers similiar to doflamingo but more.

So in response to you're claim, I want to know, why you think he will have a logia? Is it because the other admirals have a logia?Also, we can still only speculate on what flamingos powers are. I know we've seen them more than once but they've yet to be explained.

I think he meant that if it were a Blood Fruit, then he would be able to control someones movement by forcing their bodies (filled with blood) to move according to his control. Though we do not know too much about Flamingo's DF, we know he can control people like puppets ~~ which is where the similarity would be. (Assuming he had a Blood Logia).

Well to me if you gonna think that way it was predictable for Kizaru to be a logia. I always thought all 3 admirals were logias but at this point for 2 to be and one not?
I actually wouldn't mind if Akainu had no DF at all, it would be a disappointment in a way but he's an admiral anyway so Oda would probably make him a Rokushiki master, know Life Return, has mantra, some other super special fighting technique along with other unique abilities that are not Df related. To show he is just as strong as the other 2
But for now I just don't see him not being a logia. I see this more as a pattern than it being predictable.

Yep it is my opinion, when the admirals were introduced as the marines most powerful weapon excluding the shibukai, i assumed they all were logia users with their abilities close to their nicknames.
Logically ao kiji being an ice logia and being called the blue phesant, kizaru the yellow monkey and turning out to be a light man; therefor, i would say from how the admirals been introduced to us that Akainu's fruit is a logia based on something red, even his name implies red. It maybe way to predicatable if oda made akainu a devil fruit users.. but really people everything oda does cant be a complete surprise, somethings are predicatable, akainu being a logia user is one of them.

yeah i would also think magma/ lava would be the best bet as its the onli thing "red" that can deal massive damage. Yeah it seems kinda similar to Ace and that spoiler guy who can control heat fruits.

After reading the current Naruto chapter: How about Akainu has the black flame as his power? His title is red dog relates him to heat. The Black flame is heat and stronger as Aces fire.
that just sounds like another variation to ace's ability.

if Kizaru is light and is called Yellow Monkey , aokiji is ice and is called Blue Peasant , then akainu 'red dog' must have a power based on a red fruit.

personelly I belive akainu will have a devil fruit and it will be a logia. why make two of the three logia's and the other not. It doesn't make sense.
as for the actual ablity of the logia I can assume a few things about it:
-magma/lava(these could be aslo related to an earth logia fruit)
-a nature based logia(using like cherry blosums and roses as his attacks)
-diamond based logia(cept he would be more of a ruby based structure)so pretty much those are what he could have if the pattern continues.
and for those of you who swear he won't have a devil fruit use your common freaking sense for once.

A Logia fruit based power, more than likely; and it probably has to do or relates to the color red( element, color, affinity, etc.). I would say maybe a petal petal fruit, or maybe an emotion type fruit that is more attributed towards the color red such as: Love or rage. Just a thought.

I love it tho i imagined it as sakura flowers, i can totaly picture it. The most emotionless no-nonsense guy in the marine covered in battle scars and smoking a cigarette who also happens to have the prettiest pinkest DF imaginable

To me it have to be Magma without a doubt, Makes sense since the first to are logia types. So he would flow with the other two admirals. But how scary who it be to have a guy who could flood an island with lava killing and destroying everyone and every thing. Makes you wonder why they even need the Buster Call. Especially with Ice, and Light on the other end.

to clarify my idea maybe a bio bio parmecia as opposed to a blood because its too hacked as you could just make someone blow up..
this was basically my idea.. he can morph his body into any shape of muscle and bone/claw and regenerate himself.. would be pretty brutal.. and a nice power to see in any case..
