Yes, the first episode of the highly anticipated FUNimation dub will air tonight, 9/29/07 at 10:00pm on Toonami!

I know a lot of people are really hyped up for this, but please keep idle chatter, off-topic posts, and unnecessary comments to yourself. There are still 2 hours before East Coast airing begins, I don't want to see 5 pages of "OMG 1 hour and 33 minutes left, I'm so excited!" Everyone get on IM or something…or the AP IRC channel...does anyone ever use that anymore?

For those that are just joining us, you may want to see the original FAQ http://apforums.net/showthread.php?t=12778 (which still needs to be updated, I might add).

Now, let's all put unreasonable expectations as well as 4kids's wasteland behind and look forward to a new age of peace and happiness, 'Till All Are One! Oops, wrong fandom.

Oh yeah, let's not be too nitpicky, eh? But remember to be respectful of other's opinions.

You know, it's a good thing I JUST remembered that my satellite provider shows CN 3 hours earlier since it's an East Coast channel…so OP should be coming on at 7:00 for me. :o Hopefully nobody else is going to make a mistake like that.

I remember my TV in the Disney Land hotel a few years back was like that. I was watching Yu Yu Hakusho in the afternoon, and Cowboy Bebop in the evening.

I'm on the East coast, so It's at 10:00 for me, but that's your 7:00.

As I was going to say, If all goes as planned I'll have the episode uploaded before tomorrow afternoon. As long as I can get the file to the direct connection computer in the house, It shouldn't take too long. But It will take a few hours if I have to upload using my wireless one. (AKA the one I'm using now with the TV tuner.)

EDIT: I hate Storm Hawks. That is all.

(I'm Keeping CN on so I don't forget about this coming on… which happens very easily for me. (And I have a 135 IQ. (And I'm 14 years old. (And I think that's good.))))

Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern. Those are the different sides of the US, and the time zones change for each one.

If you have Satellite TV (not cable), you watch CN in realtime from the East Coast. If you live in CA (I think you do), then it should come on at 7pm. Turn on the TV and check the on-screen guide, I'm going to do that right now.

EDIT: Yes, it will come on 7pm on my tv, woot

I'm happy we finally get to see a good One Piece dub. I trust the voices and acting will be good. Wish Sanji could have at least had an unlit cig in his mouth, but having nothing is at least better than _crap_4kids' lolipop. Hope this will be as good as the Naruto dub.

I stopped watching the 4kids dub since summer 2005 because I lost interst in it due to the intellant-insulting edits but now the Funi dub is coming on and I trust Funi to bring back my lost interst in the dub again and hopfully it comes on. In my area (GMT) it comes on at 8:00 so I'm watching the time very closly and keeping my eyes on the TV. Finally my dreams will come true. I will report back my interst after the show.

I was gonna scream FIRST PAGE,but thought it was cheesy and in bad taste. Anyway now that we're on the second page. I finally became dorky enough to DREAM about the new dub like a few ppl here have! lol!
I dreamed Eric Vale's Sanji was intentionally kept private because in the new dub he sounded VERY close to the David Moo version. And after watching the new dub it became really obvious to everyone that Funi wanted to do what was done with DBZ and keep the voices in the same vein of the old dub isntead of what fit the characters or what they were like in the Japanese version. So basically I had a nightmare!XDD

Keep checking this link after the episode airs. I should have the opening and ending up, hopefully 20 minutes after the episode airs.

I might possibly upload the entire episode as well. But I'm still debating on this.

Oh, I remember this week when I was doing my math, the denominator of one of my problems was 144 so I was like o_O rubs eyes O_O

I was going to say this when the dub premired in the east cost, (even though I'm in Alaska…)but, gotta go to church, so I'll say it now...

The waiting is over, the watching begins, now we'll see which of the two dubs wins.

It's weird. I live on the west coast, but at my college, cartoon network is on east coast time, so I'm seeing the dub at 7:00. And I know that we don't have satellite.

But hearing Hikari E in English will be the highlight of my day.
