Everyone's a bit quick to judge Enel for being a dick. For all we know, he could've been reviving them to start his new Moon Empire!
Anyway, I smell something interesting for Absalom's powers. Double Man looks cool too.

We are?
He did kind of try to exterminate an entire population of people, showing no remorse.

You have to admit it was for their own good, as the poeple were trying to exterminate each other anyway.
In other news- Moria has the most awesome devil fruit power EVAR!
Rapidshare Mirror for raw:
It's probably been mentioned by you know Read Back Laziness…
When I read the spoiler, I thought Enel was just being a dick. I still think he is, but it's possible that he can't hurt the Spacies like he couldn't Luffy. So it'll all be coincidental in the end, maybe.
Seriously, Moria's expression was priceless. It's so CHILDISH.

Childish as in.. horrifying eyes, cold-zombie like stare, the black lipstick and sharp teeth, along with those scary SFX?
Awesome stuff. Too soon to comment if the fight is over or not, but Sanji had built up quite a nice hot piping mad before, so I rule nothing out.
Man, I love Moria.
@Rai:

Just when Luffy kicks the Hell out of him he has the same expression a child does when, say, I lick my finger and poke 'em in the eye.
gotta love Moria! hes just chilling while Luffys fighting for his life, i definetly see where his philosphy comes from and cant wait til Moria gets pissed off enough to get himself into the fight and start double teaming luffy with his shadow.
also Abs is not down for the count, i think hes just gonna be getting up in the next chapter and make some use of that nifty disapearing act of his and atleast dish out a few more attacks, and i base this guess on that it would be horribly lame if he was beat in 4-5 pages, im thinking hes going to get atleast get a Chap or two more.
yes exactly
i hope will use his real powers now
shadow-bats were avatar-worthy
Aww, Absalom isn't pwned yet? Eh oh well…
he's damn close.
AMAZING chapter.
I hope he isn't. I can't stand more other SUPER QUICK fight starring Sanji.
But yeah, the chapter wins because of Moria. The revealing of his fighting abilities was pure badass.
Bit of advice: try to find a means to store the chapter without using something like Sendspace: my firewall at work never let me through to it and I've been waiting all day to read it. (and the French site didn't update with the OP chapter until I was finally home)
That said…I actually like how Moria's KageKage abilities reflect his own style: he lays back while Luffy fights his own shadow. Sort of also happy Luffy used Gomu Gomu no Stamp to smash him though...but I think this is just a first initial battle considering Luffy can't defeat a Shichibukai that easily. Meanwhile, Sanji owning Absolom was amazing...but something doesn't seem like he's used his full abilities since he has yet to go invisible. All in all: a fine chapter.
@Cyringohn:
There's always going to be some dumbfuck that hates characters because they're popular.
Yeah, Ussop haters need to recognize.
Quick action-filled chapters. All the fights seems set up.
Ussop vs. Perona
Luffy vs. Moria
Sanji vs. Absalom (I expect a re-attack)
Hildon/ZoroShadow/SanjiShadow/Cindry vs. Chopper and Robin
Zoro vs. Ryuuma
Only person without a fight right now are Franky and Nami…Nami will prob sit out this time...not sure what will happen to Franky
This chapter was pretty good, glad to see Moria fighting. He wasn't exactly KOed easily some people bleieved he would be, though I'm still waiting for him to fight himself. It seems like at one point he had confidence in his abiliity but lost and came to rely on his subordinates. It seems like with Crocodile, his ambitions were crushed to a certain extent, but at least he still continiues on, just using a less personal method.
And from reading the translation of Sanji's last line, I doubt Absalom is over as it seems Sanji still wants to fight him and might not amount to much but would he have a "…..!!" bubble over his head if he was out for good?
eggherd says thanks
So… according to a rough translation of the Spanish trans... the shadows gradually become more subservient as time goes by. Interesting.
I hope we see more of the Shichibukai soon because I want to be able to compare them… and when I do I'm kind of sure Moria will be close to the top. I like him much more than Crocodile so far. Much more.
I really like Doflamingo and Mihawk, and Kuma has enormous potential…. but yeah, right now Moria is #1.
Same. Moria beats the shit out of DoFlamingo and Mihawk in my book and is far more interesting than Crocodile. Though Croc is still awesome in that classical villain kind of way, Moria is so much more unique.
Moria and Crocodile are definitely the personal favorites. Doflamingo has a great design, but his personality is annoying. Mihawk is a total yawn festival. Kuma can go either way, since we don't know anything about him, really.
Moria is definitely the most creative Shichibukai that we've seen. That, and he has a beer gut.
I really like Mihawk for some reason, but I can't place it.
Crocodile…. I was never crazy about Crocodile for some reason. I acknowledge he was a pretty good villain, and his abilities were great, but he just never grabbed me.
I always liked Doflamingo's design, but I guess his personality's kind of meh. Pretty much Super Bellamy.
Kuma could be really awesome and I'm really looking forward to him.
When I first saw Moria I was kind of half and half on his design, then I realized how creative and full of personality it was, not to mention he looks like a Dragon Quest villain. His personality's also pretty fun so far. This chapter pretty much clenched it for me; that shadow clone attack was awesome.
All the Shichibukai so far are at the top of the one piece world. They are all unique in their own way. Crocodile was a heavy hitter and now we see how deep Moria really is. Kuma in my opinion will be a very good character.
Mihawk or Blackbeard (soon to be) for the STRONGEST of the Shichibukai.
Damn, that was borderline the quickest ass beating in the series! Sanji whipped him up good.
For some reason this chapter made me like Sanji less. Maybe I'm finally getting tired of him and Zoro's "SUPER COOL BADASS" shtick (though I was bored with Zoro long ago).
Sanji is always most interesting when he's partying with Usopp and Luffy. It's a shame he doesn't do it much anymore. They made Sanji more of a serious character.
Zoro's always been a stick in the mud.
@Cap'n:
I hope we see more of the Shichibukai soon because I want to be able to compare them….
Agreed, especially about Doflamingo and his "new wave", since it was supposed to be so "imminent" and shit. He's got to overcome the "Super Bellamy" image after all..
I second (or third?) the notion of Moria being the most unique between the Bukais….it'd take a real effort in creativity (and a good dose of weed) to surpass him, I think.
Slightly OT: Mihawk might really be boring, but I think the fandom has influenced negatively his appeal, having whored him since he first appeared. His (albeit few) lines and remarks are pretty funny and caustic, and he's not really the classical "strongest man who lives by and for the sword". He looks deeper than some random Krieg, imo.

One Piece
Chapter 463 "Pirate Sanji vs. Enigma Absalom"
Enel's Great Space Operation Vol. 29 "For the moment, attack!"
[Side text: Going great with a Yohoho!! Brooke's debut in Volume 46 is now on sale, with rave reviews!]
2
Luffy: Huh, what's going on? // The place is shaking like crazy!
Moria: The boat must have been caught by a strange current… // I guess it's probably your fault, kishishishi!! // ...So? What are you doing here?
Luffy: .......
[Insert text: Luffy confronts Moria!!]
Luffy: Oh yeah! How dare you rip my shadow off back there! // I'm gonna take it back! And Zoro's, and Sanji's, // and Brooke's, and the zombie-ossan's - all of them!!
Moria: What a greedy little man… and exactly how do you intend to do that?
3
Luffy: I just have to beat you up, right?
Moria: Even if I were to get beaten up or killed, / the zombies would just lose their master - the shadows won't escape. // My ability is "control" over shadows. This is the only way to grant your wish: // To face all the zombies and, with their current master's mouth - that is, mine - // give them the order to return to their former owners!!
Luffy: If I do that, the shadows will all return?
Moria: Kishishishi, that's right, it's that simple. // If you can weaken me to that extent, that is. // But, well, at your level, you won't even be able to touch me. / yawn [TN: You can render a yawn however you think best ~_~]
Luffy: All right. Gomu Gomu no~~~
4
Luffy: PISTOL!!! // ! // Your shadow?!
Moria: Kishishishi… Now you just try and defeat him. // My clone... // Doppelman! [TN: The kanji for Doppelman read "silhouette"]
5
Luffy: Uwa!
Moria: There was a time when I too was overconfident in my own power and ambition.
Luffy: What's with this guy? Get out of the way!
Moria: But now I have come to understand the importance of good subordinates. / I don't have to lift a finger. I am the man who will become the Pirate King through the power of others.
Luffy: I'm the one who's going to be the Pirate King!!! // Uwah!
Moria: Your zombie said the same thing… // Thanks to a powerful constitutional imbalance between the shadow and the body, // the remains of the former master's consciousness seem to be having a strong effect...
6
Moria: But soon enough, its memories of being you will fade away, / and it will become a zombie entirely obedient to me. // No matter how strong the will may be, / all zombies end up with "absolute obedience".
Luffy: I'll take it back right now!!!
Moria: ?!
Luffy: Gomu Gomu no~~~!! // GATLING!!!
Moria: Black Bat.
7
Luffy: !!
Moria: Hm~~~♪
Luffy: Dammit!! He's blocking them all!! // I can't get him!!! // Aaagh!! / Owww!!!
8
Luffy: Owowowowowww!!
Moria: Kishishishi... Don't worry, they're not bloodsuckers or anything.
Luffy: Owww!!!
Moria: You say you're going to beat me up?! That's funny!!
Luffy: GET OFF ME!!!
Moria: When an inexperienced youngster underestimates an opponent...
Luffy: heavy breathing x2, render it how you like
Moria: ...he will feel shame.
9
Luffy: heavy breathing x2 again // Gomu Gomu no~~~!!
Moria: What's this? He jumped down... / Is he trying to escape?
Luffy: STAMP!!!
Moria: Ouch!! You little brat!!
Luffy: See?! I can touch you just fine, you big leek!!!
10
Zombie: Huh?!
Sanji: Leave Nami-san...
11
Sanji: ALONE!!!!
Zombie: !!!
Sanji: So sorry to keep you waiting, Nami-san; // your knight has arrived. // !!! // ................... / What?!! A goddess?!! // Oh... oooh!! That was a shock...!! It... it is Nami-san!! I wasn't mistaken... // With this overwhelming beauty, for a moment I thought I had mistakenly saved a goddess instead!!
12
Absalom: What the hell are you going on about... You, you're definitely... // ...one of the crew from that pirate ship, aren't you... // !!? // What?! An angel?! // Ah... oh!! It's a human... definitely a human... I spoke too soon...!
Sanji: It's quite understandable, perfectly understandable... / Seeing Nami-san in this perfect pure white, it's an easy mistake to make...
Absalom: So very true...
Zombie: What's with those two...?
Absalom: ...Wait... Agh-!!! Damn you, pirate! I shouldn't be getting friendly with you!! // Give me back my bride!!
13
Sanji: (carrying Nami in his arms like a princess and protecting her) Hey, you. That was about to hit Nami-san. When there's a lady around, // You don't use attacks that might draw people into the fray.
Absalom: ...You did well to avoid my attack. // Though it seems you've already lost your shadow... // Come to think of it, there was a new zombie who seemed strangely attached to this woman... / He still had a little of his own "self", and wasn't yet completely obedient... // that must have been your zombie.
Sanji: .......
Absalom: If you think about the fact that we couldn't even put him into a shogun zombie, // the real thing's fighting strength can't be that impressive. // That penguin was all talk, he wasn't that strong at all.
14
Absalom: For an underling like that to stand up to the man who orders the Shogun Zombies, I who am called the Enigma, // Why, that is most impertinent...!!
Sanji: (Uwa! That surprised me! I thought it was an angel!)
Now... I won't say anything against you. / Just leave the woman with me and go off to live your shadowless life. // You see, I'm pretty busy at the moment. / Your captain's zombie could be beating up my powerful underlings as we speak... // And I still have to kiss the bride to finish the ceremony. / You get it? I'm a bit pissed off right now......!! // I don't have time to be messing around with small fry like... // ...you...
15
Sanji: Shut up, you beast-faced ceremony-man!!!
Absalom: GUAGH?!!!
Zombies: Aaaaahh!! Absalom-samaaa!!? // No way!! He sent that 300-kilo guy flying!!!
Sanji: The "Invisible Man" Usopp was talking about... // That's you, right?
Absalom: ..............?!!
16
Absalom: What the hell was that kick...?!! This ferally powerful body that Hogback gave me couldn't possibly be... // Hands of the Dead!!! // ?!! // What's going on?! Did you know what I was going to do?!
Sanji: Bas Côtes!!!
Absalom: Ugh!!!
17
Zombies: Aaaaaggh!!
Sanji: Longé!!!
Absalom: Guooooghh!!
Sanji: Tendron!!! // You're the invisible beast that appeared on the Sunny and licked Robin-chan all over, aren't you?!
Absalom: Ugh!! // (What's with this power?! This is an underling?!)
Sanji: Flanchet!! / Quasi - Queue - Cuisseau!!
Absalom: ................!!
Sanji: You're the one who took a good look at Nami naked in the bath, too, aren't you?! // Why's she unconscious now?! / You'd better not have been rough with her!!!
Absalom: Uaaggh...
Sanji: Jarret!!! // You call this a wedding?! You look me in the eye and say that! I'll make a croquette of you!!!
18
Absalom: Ugh!! I got away for a second! / "Skating"!!!
Sanji: Usopp Deluxe... // Salt Ball.
Absalom: !!
Sanji: Over there...
Absalom: Agh! What's this?! It's salty-
Sanji: VEAU SHOT!!!
Absalom: GUAAAAUAAAAAGGHHH!!!
19
Absalom: !!! // ...........!! // (This is crazy... A guy like this doesn't even have a bounty...?!!
Sanji: You said you're pissed off, right...?!! // Well, I'm afraid I'm not!
Absalom: ..............
Sanji: I'M SO FURIOUS MY BODY'S ABOUT TO EXPLODE WITH RAGE!!!!
Zombie: HE ACTUALLY EXPLODED!!!
Absalom: ...................!!
Sanji: And it's your bad luck... // that I've got one more bone to pick with you.
Absalom: ?!!
[Insert text: What is it now?!]
just a thought but did anyone else notice that every Shichibukai weve gotten to know closer has been beaten by someone stronger and is looking for another way to make it to the top ? ah well atleast Mihawk wont be like that…...or will he:ninja:
and im also chiming into the Moria is more awesome than Croc and Mihawk put together club, tho as many of youve pointed out Don might turn out to be more intresting well just wait and see.
Thanks for the trans, Aldrich and Carlosnet….
Sanji's speech was damn pumping. Was he ever so pissed? I wonder what else he wnats from Abs...yet, the highlight in the chap is Moria. He's not just a slacker, that's a philosophy that comes from experience....hmm.
Aha Absalom aint down yet. Whaddaya know? =D
Somehow the line "OW! This kid" cracked me up.
@Oboro:

He is jealous because Absalom licked Robin and saw Nami naked, Absalom did more than his chivarly could let Go Absalom.
Thanks for the script. As I can see, Absalom's powers weren't revealed, so there is a big chance that his fight isn't over yet. And Moria looks more and more interesting.
Thanks, Aldrich.
Absalom is stupid for underestimating his opponent.
I wonder what the other problem Sanji has with Absalom is?
just a thought but did anyone else notice that every Shichibukai weve gotten to know closer has been beaten by someone stronger and is looking for another way to make it to the top ?
Moria is the only person I can think of right now like that. I don't recall Croc ever saying something like that.
wow, what a sweet chapter! luffy fights moria (i love those little bat shadows) and sanji proves to be a terrible, menacing force when nami is concerned. "black leg" indeed. god i love sanji in a double breasted suit. a much more exciting chapter than i ever expected!
oh, and i agree with whomever said it first: that electrical blast of enel's is only going to give all those little guys energy! being bots and all…
enel's greatest enemies: rubberboys and robotboys.
They might replace the four priests.
@Cap'n:
Moria is the only person I can think of right now like that. I don't recall Croc ever saying something like that.
huh, might just have been my imagination then, but i have a vague recolletion of Croc saying something to luffy along the lines of that he was once like that but learned the hardway that its not that easy to be the pirate king but then again its been a while since i read it
but still even if he never said that i still think its implied that he wanted to be pirate king but got shot down and thus turned to searching for the weapons in order to get there, just my take on it.
Nice, thanks Aldrich.
"HE ACTUALLY EXPLODED!!!" cracked me. God that cracked me.
Moria's talk seems so evil. Way more than the spoiler script. And I like it.
btw Carter, what's wrong with Flamingo being a Super Bellamy? You gotta admit that kind of personality is awesome.
That's an interesting trick Moria's got there, I'm liking him quite a lot at this point. His design has also really grown on me a lot, especially the odd shape of his body.
Thanks aldrich for bringing over the trans.
Some items of interest:
Zombies are going to be more willful if there is a great discrepancy between the strength of the shadow donor's body and that of the zombie. So Absalom thought that the weak little dog peng was so much stronger than sanji and that caused his willfulness. Of course, sanji's much greater strength led to the willfulness, not the other way around.
This means that Odz being so rebellious signifies a great difference of physical power between him and luffy. So, the question has to arise, which of the two is much stronger than the other? Is Odz' body that much stronger than luffy's? Or is luffy going to take Odz down easily in a contest of pure strength?
Related to this: Brooke must be of similar physical strength to Ryuma in order for Ryuma to have submitted to Moria so quickly. This means that Brooke is much stronger than we have given him credit for and lost to Ryuma only because of the handicap represented by his afro.
Also, is something seriously going on with sanji and these firey explosions? At first it seemed just to be a metaphor for his righteous anger… but this has gone far enough to signify a greater power coming to the fore. Has his fire leg technique grown to a new level or what?
@Mr.:
That's an interesting trick Moria's got there, I'm liking him quite a lot at this point. His design has also really grown on me a lot, especially the odd shape of his body.
Totally! Plus his name is just so smooth. Gecko Moria.
@Cyringohn:
Sanji is always most interesting when he's partying with Usopp and Luffy. It's a shame he doesn't do it much anymore. They made Sanji more of a serious character.
Zoro's always been a stick in the mud.
Serious? He was just mad at the moment, but I bet in the next chapter Sanji will be like trying to wake up Nami with a kiss or whatever that comes trough that mind of his. :P
Boiga: Are you crazy? That "Giant" Gattling could be by far the strongest physical atack ever. Luffy's at a disadvantage, considering how Gear3 only works for a single part of his body, or at least that's what Oda made us to believe.
Crocodile mentioned that the Grand Line revealed to him that piracy isn't fun and games, as he originally thought. Crocodile is basically a jaded version of Luffy, since it was revealed that he once dreamed of being the Pirate King.
Thanks aldrich for bringing over the trans.

Oh, it can be from either side? Must have missed it.
About Luffy, normally I'd say Luffy may end up being stronger, but.. nah.
I'm putting my money on Odz being invincible as of now. He said as time passes Odz will obey.. I wonder how little time that can be. As of now all of the fights seem to have the normal pattern, which didn't happen in a long time now with the pre-decided matchups.
I don't know if Oda really thought of everything together along with Ryuuma's personality. Brooke isn't the warrior-kind so Ryuuma wouldn't fight him so soon, so he needed to obey from the start. Brooke has even less pride than Usopp too, I wonder how far can he go.. but then again, he was supposed to be kinda strong in his crew if he said what he said last chapter. I'm not good with this.. someone speculate!
Moria is a beast!
Thanks for the Translations!
i'm not surprised sanji is owning absalom since he is at full strength. remember that sanji had fought wanze and then got pummeled by kalifa and then finally fought jyabura in the cp9 arc. absalom is fighting a completely healthy sanji that upgraded his strength in the last arc. i think this arc is meant to show how powerful the strawhats have become because they will most likely be facing pirates on a whole other level at fishman island and the new world. crocodile and moria are the probably the weaker Shichibukai that patrol the first half of the grandline. i also wonder if the pirate world will be turned on it's head by the time the strawhats land on fishman island. remember that last panel in the ace and blackbeard fight said that the event would trigger a great incident later on. could whitebeard of left the new world and chased after blackbeard? if that happens then the yonkou will probably get into war with each other to take over whitebeards territory. my dream scenario is that ace is in impel down and whitebeard goes and breaks him out and a bunch of very powerful pirates escape as well and causes havoc. would be cool if dragon recruited them all.
I'm not arguing with the mangahelpers' translation or anything, but I think Sanji's final line was
"One more unfortunate thing is…You and I have something in common."
Though I could be wrong..
@Cyringohn:
Crocodile mentioned that the Grand Line revealed to him that piracy isn't fun and games, as he originally thought. Crocodile is basically a jaded version of Luffy, since it was revealed that he once dreamed of being the Pirate King.
And Moria is exactly like Luffy.
He realized he "needs" his crew in order to become the Pirate King, pretty much like Luffy, who admited that he was a "good for nothing" in the Arlong Arc. That's why I bet someone else will be the key of the victory in this battle, since I doubt Kicking Moria's ass would do any good at all.
I'm thinking we'll see more of Absalom - he didn't seem to take Sanji too seriously and clearly didn't recognize him from his wanted poster (according to the script from Carlosnet on Mangahelper and posted by Aldrich). Once lion-face figures out who he's fighting, we might get a more serious fight between the two.
