Brooke does seem to be intersting, I doubt he stay, but we can hope. If he does I hope it's as musican and he plays his ribs.
The Soldier dock system gets it first use. Can't wait to see how many modes it has. Heck Sunny showed a lot more to it in this chapter.

Although he agreed to join right away I don't think he'll stay for long. I'm going with the "Brooke can only live in the Triangle"-theory. Even though he might be a musician (the note really could be the hint), that doesn't mean he will be The Musician. Kinda like the times when the Strawhats were in need of a doctor and actually did meet some doctors but wouldn't get one until the arc that revolved around Chopper.
Plus the Triangle seems to be just a starter for the Merman Island Adventure. The way Long Ring Long Land was the starter for Water 7, and Jaya for Skypiea.
My guess: Brook gets the next cover story. Crazy adventures with the other undead pirates - woooo! -

Brooke doesn't really want to join strawhat …u guys know why all other 100 ships accross Floral Triangle have gone and never come back?
Brooke did say something like " It's been 10 years i've never seen livings... We only have ghost ships around here" means.. Brooke have took all the pirates who are used to accross the triangle as his group of undead and turn them all into ghosts!!
That explains :
- why those sailors/pirates never come back from the triangle because Ghost only can live in Floral Triangle..not outside! they're all have been cursed and can't get out of floral Triangle..( this is based on "We only have ghost ships around here" said by Brooke ).
2)why Brooke easily accept luffy's invitation..bcoz he has decided to takes all strawhats as part of the ghost like he did to others and turm them into ghosts from the begining. Not because luffy invites him..it's because he wants to.
The reason?
who knows..if this floral triangle is a small arc just like long ring long island before we step on a major arc, lets think this way:
• maybe all strawhat crews will turn into skely-poop-ghost just like brooke n have to stay forever in the triangle EXCEPT ..they successfully fulfill the rule to return into human again thru some ritual - a game maybe! (davy fight back style guys..)…who knows...but thats going to be fantastic -
This case seems a little different from usual, though… I mean, there haven't been any other arc-helper-type characters who actually agreed to be a real member of the crew. The only real nakama they have outside the ship is Vivi, and she would have gone with them under different circumstances.
With Brooke, Luffy actually asked him to join them, and he said yes. This really has never happened before with any other non-Mugiwara characters. This is why I don't think Brooke can actually be compared with people like Gaimon, Conis, or Paulie; anyone Luffy asked to join declined, and everyone else he didn't even ask.
o_o I dunno... I guess all that means is that whatever Oda's plan is for this character, it'll be someting different than ever before. ^^ I'm definetly looking forward to whatever happens.

I like it that oda did it this way this time. Last arc he strung us along for a year so that paulie fans were desperate until the final fights. This way he can introduce a character and develop him at will without worrying about giving anything away too soon.
Brooke is here to stay.
Now, the more interesting speculation is what is his fighting style?

I'm probably the only one who feels this way…..........But I don't think the idea of Brook joining is a good idea. Well at least so soon. I haven't seen enough of Franky yet. I need to see more definite relationships that Franky has with the others. It;s too soon, cause if Brook does join, than people would totally forget about Franky. Maybe at the end of this arc, Brook will "seriously" join the crew.......Cause right now, it'll take away what Franky just brought to the table cause he's so fresh as a Straw Hat.

… if that was the case, this would imply that Brooke had seen the sailors, whom he then turned into ghosts, alive. Because... you can't kill anybody if he wasn't alive, duh. So he would be contradicting himself by saying the Strawhats were the first living persons he has met in ten years. And if he was lying about that one, one couldn't take his word as an argument for the theory that he kills trespassers anyways.

We have some other issues here besides the revelation of the newest strawhat.
What is the likelyhood of an undead yonkou? Or an undead shichibukai?
Brooke mentions that he hasn't seen a "living" in years, which insinuates an undead society somewhere in the florian triangle. The sanji's foreshadowing of the ghosts dragging sailors down to a watery grave and the proximity of merman island making me wonder if we're going to see some underwater battle of skeletons vs mermen in the future.
Also, the sacriligious unsealing of an offering to the sea god -> giant storm that would have wiped out any ship other than the 1000 sunny in a ghostly region populated by the undead makes those old theories about the strawhats meeting Davy Jones become much more likely. The problem is that I can't imagine davy jones as government dog and none of the yonkou looked particularly dead. Maybe another Enel Kamesama figure?
The field is wide open. What a great way to start an arc.

Lolers I like this chapter and Slack Skelington(my nickname for Brooke) is super awesome I doubt he'll stay for good but if he does that would be the best dam can't wait for the next chapter thats the thing about OP you keep on wanting more.
I think Slash Skelington will prolly show the Strawhats around the triangle then leave, it would be weird to have two suit wearing people in the crew..

Brooke can probably sing and dance. In other words, he's a performer! Note the top hat and cane. Only a performer would have those(and maybe an english gentleman, but, meh). He's probably Michael Jackson in the bones!
As for fighting style, he can probably throw his hat ala Kung Lao, and use his cane for close combat.
