She-hulk might be the first disney+ show I actually watch. Yowza!
It looks . . . okay?
Poorest cgi by far in the MCU.
It felt like watching playstation 1 games just recently released.
Then you should either check your eyes or your screen, or just stop it with the influencer exaggeration, it looks tv quality, sure but it is neither Lara Croft from the 90s nor the first draft of sonic.
I've never understood the hype with She-Hulk, nor have I ever really seen any fan-base for her.
The same could be said of any of Hulks byproduct characters, like Rick, his two sons, thunderbolt Ross AKA discount JJ Jameson etc.
And even the Hulk himself has only remained a thing by constantly growing in strength and exploring his internal relationships with banner, while the aforementioned character just seem to copy/paste/repeat their roles (some since the early 80's).
For that reason I don't hold very high expectations of this new series.
The direction of the series seems alright, though the novelty of "A Hulk who has FUN! You'll like her when she's angry!" is rather undermined by MCU Hulk already being "The Hulk who Dabs" rather than a fountain of pained pathos
Right now I'm thinking the She-Hulk from Marvel vs. Capcom looked cooler:
I'm not super interested in the series, but man, that's a hot green CGI woman.
The She-Hulk trailer looked pretty great in my opinion. I have been a long time fan of Tatiana, since back when she was on Orphan Black. From the trailer, she captured Jen's personality perfectly in my opinion. I like that the show is influence by both the Byrne and Slott runs of the series. Also I'm excited that Frog man is now in the MCU.

Hey this insane amount of popularity is not going to last forever, might as well make as much money as you can while it lasts
that being said they might tire people out faster than they would have

Selling an abused old man's image is immoral and just plain disgusting. Furthermore, they will likely try to recreate Lee with CG, which would be extremely disgusting as well as continuing the advancement of a technology that can possibly be used for nefarious military use.
This is bad and we should not allow it to continue to go on.

I didn't hear about this Stan Lee thing, I thought people were just talking about the insane amount of tv show spin offs there making and how there just digging for anything that can make them a little bit of money
My bad
She-hulk trailer reminded me of that pilot episode of Birdgirl, I'm surprised no one's making memes out of it(yet).
And also, I think Kevin Feige should be the one guy doing random cameos in every movie from now on, he's pretty much responsible for the MCU's success.

But have you considered that it means that A Thing Fans Liked can be preserved for all eternity, meaning that they don't have to grapple with impermanence or change? Now you can just keep things exactly as you want them forever and ever and ever and never have to seek out anything new! Like just imagine how sweet it would be if Chris Hemsworth died tomorrow and yet we'd still be seeing him as Thor 10 years from now, so great

to be fair, this is something Stan Lee absolutely would be doing from beyond the grave for a buck were it possible lol

Hollywood is preparing itself at doing this actually. They bought the rights for James Dean to make him all CGI in a bunch of incoming movies. The studios are just scared of the ethical problems they will face. I mean, it could backfire for them, so they're going step by step to push their progress in our throats. I don't think that the fans have their words to say about someone's image almost a century after his death
Oh I know and I hate it. With how beholden Hollywood is to endless IP regurgitation and nostalgia pandering as is, imagine if they could literally keep iconic character portrayals available indefinetely? Coming soo, Ghostbusters 9! Still featuring the original cast(s' likenesses), they're not all dead yet!
I much rather they create a Stanley Lieber writer character in 70s Stan's likeness to cameo in the movies than whatever Peter Cushing bullshit they pulled in Rogue One.
I understand why its a little weird to essentially have dead actors come back from the grave (if just for the extra $$$), but I think people like Stan Lee would get kicks from this.
Though I doubt that could be said of some actors in the Marvel and Star Wars universe (e.g. Harrison Ford).

Yeah, it's so weird to me to see adults having this attitude. Very ironic considering how I've been using forums since I was, like, 12 in 2002 and am now a grown woman seeing people my age legitimately not care about ethics or the real human beings behind the industries they enjoy.
Capitalism rots all, I guess.
I think MOM is the breaking point for me to take a break from all things marvel related.
It has become such a formula that even with all the pretty cgi, the writing can still feel soulless. Everything was exceptionally good, acting was great, VFX CG slayed, Raimi was great (despite obviously having his hands tied),
But ultimately, it's a marvel film and with the popularity of their TV series nowadays, it really does hammer in the same themes and feels like a repetition of the same rhythm.
Also, I know Strange might not be as fun as Peter Parker or Iron Man but this never did felt to me like a passion project written for the character. No way home was so good as a character centric movie that it made MOM feel so flat.
Anyway that's all. I've also watched the new Batman on the same day and my god the writing between one and the other is night and day.
Strongly opposed to the Stan Lee thing but nothing matters because the mouse will get what they want and can pretty much overwrite culture's perception and make it ok and acceptable in a few years.
New She-Hulk teaser is out. I have been fan of Tatiana's performances since the days of Orphan Black and she captures Jen characteristic perfectly.
I'm more excited or She-Hulk than anything right now. The Slott run is one of my favorite comic runs ever and this show appears to be pulling QUITE a bit from it.
I agree on that. Slott's run of She-Hulk was one of the reasons that I started reading comics years ago. So seeing that the She-Hulk series is more or so going to be base on that run have me really excited. Seeing some recent clips that Disney put out for the series, I was somewhat shocked that Mallory (Jen's lawyer rival during the Slott's run) is going to be in the series.
@Sano Wait, was one of the firm members "Goodman"?
Wow, this is not at all where I expected the Better Call Saul finale to go.
@Robby Yep, one of the firm embers from Slott's run is Goodman.
Breaking Bad being part of the MCU confirmed! I hear Walter White is going to be part of the Thunderbolts ;-)
So apparently Marvel is making a Heroes for Hire project but in doing so will recast Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

Nobody gives a crap about Fin Jones and the awful Iron Fist series, but losing Mike Colter is a serious shame.
Well that sucks. Colter was amazing, and his first season crashed the Netflix servers from everyone trying to watch it.
Coincidentally, I never finished Iron Fist Season 2, even though that's gotten more favorable reviews.

I wouldn't worry about it. It is technically better, but too little too late.
Early reviews for She-Hulk are out. Looks like the series is going to be good.
She-Hulk Episode #1 was a mix of cute with just weird pacing and structure. The special effects also look like ass with the character movements and lack of choreography just really bland and boring. Anytime one of the Hulks moved I could tell how unnatural they looked.
The first episode of She-Hulk is great. It was everything, I was hoping for a She-Hulk series would be like. Tatiana's performance as Jen was great. I can't wait for episode 2 next week.
So Fantastic 4 is getting WandaVision's director. A good first step?

I hope that means they give the fourth Kelvin timeline Star Trek film back to S. J. Clarkson.
The digs at misogynists were just chef's kiss.
Episode 3 was good and I hope we get to see more of "that" character (defendant). throughout.
What really stuck out as a negative was some of the cgi. Definitely the worst in this episode in some scenes with She-Hulk. If this was a ps4 gsme, it would fit right in!
the nerdrage is out of the charts this week. I'm in for the light hearted comedy, even when the CGI is lacking (and they are at PS2 levels in some scenes. GTA walking cycle level)
The outrage is about the She-Hulk post credit scene is just sad. Similar stuff like this happen before in the She-Hulk comics, one moment I remember happens in the first issues of the Dan Slott run.

I'm pretty sure that cishet men are just mad that they can't masturbate to it because the series is actively antagonistic towards shitty cishet men and also otherwise not particularly sexual or erotic enough for decent, normal-people cishet men to be turned on by it.
So yeah, it's really sad.
Anyone else hear about this?

I could never watch Black Panther 1 last fight between tchala and njadaka, cause well, its terribly cgi'ed, it does remarlably looks like playstation 3 cinematic fighting.
But the Saakarian spaceship that made them crash in she-hulk, jesus christ... They didnt even try at all.
I had king scorpion nightmares watching that.
Discussing "Marvel Fatigue"
People are getting triggered by She Hulk TV show lol
Love and Thunder as well as a barrage of news starting tomorrow and going into Saturday.
I expect F4, Halloween special, Blade, Secret Invasion, and Ironheart news.
we are supposed to get Love and Thunder on D+ today, right? I'll give it chance latter
