BM children surely will enter reach Onigashima by two reasons at least :
1. The appearance of Marco
2. Back up their Eldest Brother Perospero
I fail to see how Marcos appearance is a reason for the BM Pirates reaching Onigashima. Care to elaborate?

Probably because he's a powerful enemy that shouldn't be there and most likely isn't alone, so Mama is endangered.

BM Pirates still in doubt of the alliances with Beast Pirates.
Marco is a threat towards BM.
BM Pirates should aware of how Luffy and Marco/WB Pirates in last Marine-Pirates War
Lately I bought all volumes of Wano arc and I am after re-reading all of them- english volumes are at Big Mom vs Kaido clash.
After reading this stuff through it feels like Zoro promised to kill Orochi. Also it feels like Denjiro will also take part in final fight against Orochi.
So after those conclusions I started to think that its overkill for both of them to fight character as weak as Orochi. But then I remembered that we do not know how Orochis hydra form works in combat. Its mythical zoan of legendary evil dragon so it might end up having scales that are impossible to cut or heads that instantly grow up. Lets add to that possibly insane firepower with all heads shooting smaller versions of Kaidos dragon breath aaaaaaaand.. we have pretty awesome future fight at our hands. I think that Oda is playing with our expectations with Orochis combat power that might be revealed to be pretty insane, on par with likes of any from Top 3 from Kaido crew.
It's hard to imagine someone who's been sitting on his ass his whole life to be able to fight properly.
His fruit is certainly strong in the right hands, but I don't think Orochi ever had a real fight or knows how to use his fruit to its full potential.
Hey, I just realized. We don't have someone from the Kurozumi shogunate who is a karateka. Should've been the perfect match for Jimbei.
While Orochi's fate is still up in the air, I think he's dead.
I can't see both Orochi and Kanjuro returning, so between them, I think the one that's still alive is Kanjuro (off-screen death, is actually a threat even if seriously harmed, can use his fruit to full potential, can fulfill Orochi's purpose as the last Kurozumi seeking to end the Kozuki), while Orochi's fruit can be better explored in someone else's hands.

If you re-read this arc you would remember how much of build up There is for Zoro/ Kanjuro vs Orochi.

He certainly can shoot. Also when he transformed into his Zoan everyone panicked that he will destroy castle so they have some idea how destructive Orochis zoan is(from Orochis tantrums but still).
Random thought popped into my head, and now I'm throwing it out here. There's a more than zero percent chance Yamato will rescue Momonosuke, he'll attempt to push his face in her chest as he often does, only for her to whisper in his ear "I'm your daddy." Something like that.
It'll be quite awkward.
I can see Orochi and Kanjuro sneaking out of Wano and live themselves as a theater troupe.

Next cover story (if this one ever ends that is).
Wtf is wrong with some people? Can't you wait until tomorrow to discuss the chapter that will be released tomorrow? Just hold your horses for 24 hours, dammit. Mods have to start being more strict with this kind of behavior. We used to wait almost 5 days between the scanlation and the official release not that long ago. It's less than 48 hours now. It's not that hard to just wait.
Yup, I always wait for a scanlation so it kinda sucked when someone just spoiled the events of the next chapter. It wasn't a huge thing and thankfully, he didn't go into any details, but it's still pretty annoying.
my bad guys.
im not frequent poster here..
sorry tho..
The longer Wano goes on the dumber Moria seems for thinking his plan at Thriller Bark was ever going to work. Yeah, Oars would have had a zombie's endurance, but now we have about 10 Oars in Kaidou's crew and Zoro, Jimbe, Luffy, and even X. Drake are handling them with relative ease. Moria was clearly over the hill and out of his depth, and seeing the current top pirates reveals that.
I got the feeling that the Numbers are a recent-ish addition to Kaidou's crew. Even Big Mom had never seen them.
I don't think they were part of the beast pirates when Moria was defeated, otherwise he wouldn't think he was able to beat Kaidou with just one giant.
But despite the in-story comments of how the Numbers remind the crew of Oars, they seem a tier below him.
These are "failed" experiments, they don't have much of a brain, and they're alive. Oars was the real deal, he was actually capable of speach, he felt no pain or damage, and had Luffy's shadow powering him up. And I always got the feeling that no matter how strong the zombie got he would never actually compare to the real deal, so an alive Oars would be much stronger than Zombie Oars.

We saw at least some of the Numbers in the Oden flashback, so at the very least Kaido has had them in his crew for over 20 years. As for Big Mom, she said it's been decades since she's last met Kaido, so her having only seen the Numbers now doesn't seem too surprising.
Beyond being a zombie and inheriting Luffy’s combat prowess, Oars also had the advantage of Moria empowering him.

Oh, yeah, we did see them.
And Moria stole Ryumma, so that was when Kaidou was already in Wano.
Then maybe Moria's idea was to get the best giant ever to crush the other giants. I hope we get to see at least part of Moria vs Kaidou in the next flashback of Wano.
So, now that Oda has confirmed those 5 years do not include the Final War, how does this affect your current perception of Wano's length? Cuz I think now it has become easier for Oda to have it last another 40-60 chapters instead of rushing it.

I'm back to my original expectations, Enies Lobby style encounters for the important characters (which may or may not be Straw Hats). Of course with some unpleasurable rushing (see chapter 990, bouncing and offpaneling like crazy), but within tolerable limits.
Until Oda's clarification I thought it was absolutely possible that the Wano-war could be called off completely - only to smoothly transition into the endgame war after.

I don't think Oda confirmed that at all. I personally think he said the opposite, but I know lots of people interpret it the way you do. At the end of the day, I think we can all say that as usual, it's all up for debate.
Not sure if anyone else brought it up when Kanjuro was revealed to be the traitor, but I was re-reading mid-Dressrosa and came across this scene that I had forgotten about. Holy crap, Kanjuro was pretty much blatantly trying to get his allies killed and no one suspected a thing.
Yes, when people were theorizing that Kanjurou was the traitor, they liked to mention these scenes where Kanjurou seemed to be boycotting the heroes.
It is great foreshadowing to make him look suspicious, IMO, so I understand its use as evidence, but technically Kanjurou played his character truthfully and the only bad thing he did was to send information to Orochi. So maybe these scenes are just because the fake Kanjuro is a clutz, not because he was intentionally murdering his allies.
Since Shanks and Black Beard will still be around after this war do you think island communities will replace flags of Big Mom and Kaidou with Luffy's? Seems like during the epilogue island territories will be a thing of the past but it seems like something we'd be able to enjoy for a little while.
I hope we get to see Fishman Island celebrate by putting up the Straw Hat flag. Would be a shame if Im and that giant Straw Hat destroy the place before it happens. Though I still hope Luffy purposely destroys the island but it ends up being a good thing.
Edit: I thought this was the new world thread.
What do you guys think the Wano matchups will be?
What do you guys think the Wano matchups will be?
My tentative line-ups (Yes, I think the Firetank Pirates will appear, and the Big Mom children will get to Onigashima):
Tobi Roppo:
Who's Who vs Zoro
Sasaki vs Jinbe
Black Maria vs. Robin
Ulti & Page One vs. Franky Shogun
Big Mom Children:
Perospero vs Sanji
Compote vs ???
Galette vs Nami
Mont-D'or vs Usopp
Daifuku vs Chopper
Headliners:
Apoo vs Brook
Hawkins vs ???
Generals:
Smoothie vs ???
Jack vs ???
Queen vs Kid & Killer
King vs ???
Yonko:
Big Mom vs. Straw Hats (Sanji, Jinbe, Nami, Brook, Franky, Robin, Usopp and Chopper) & Capone & Firetank Pirates
Kaido vs. Worst Generation (Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, Law, Drake), obviously with Luffy vs. Kaido at the end.
Not matched yet: Luffy, Law & Heart Pirates, Marco, Drake, Capone & Firetank Pirates

I personally don't think the firetank pirates are joining the fray , but I like the other predictions
Brook vs Apoo has to happen at some point
I originally thought King and Queen would fight Zoro and Sanji, but seeing as how Luffy just barley beat Katakuri last arc, I'm not sure how I feel about Zoro and Sanji beating there own over billion bounty enemy so quickly after Luffy, plus there wouldn't be much story progression left if they could already face the top 3 Yonko commanders (especially seeing as how there final enemies will most likely be Black Beards top 3 commanders)
So I wouldn't be surprised if Kidd and Law fought King and Queen, especially since luffy just beat a billion bounty enemy it would be there way of catching up, and then helping him beat Kaido will put them as respectable rivals
I don't think Kidd or Law will have back up if that happens though, they need to show they can take them on there own like Luffy did
I have no idea how Marco and Presopero are gonna fall into the fray, although a lot of people seem to want the latter to fight Sanji
I do really like the idea of all the straw hats fighting Big Mom well Luffy fights Kaido, I really hope that happens
Zoro/Sanji vs calamities or riot.
If the strawhat pirates only have match-ups we know they can win there's no drama.
Sanji already beat a tobiroppo off-panel ffs. Give me a fight that pushes him beyond his absolute limit.
Yeah. Oda doesn't really owe us anything, but then again… Sanji hasn't won a 1-on-1 fight that mattered since, depending on how you look at it, either Duvall or Jabra. He doesn't owe it to us, but it would feel wrong to me if we went the entire Timeskip without him having a great 1-on-1. Luffy's a 10/10 character, but I wish the Smile users from early on in Wano were taken out by literally everyone but him. Sanji getting a fight with Queen or King would be amazing.
I personally don't think the firetank pirates are joining the fray , but I like the other predictions
I think the Yonko crews will overwhelm the Alliance before the end of Act 3, and the Firetank Pirates will be the unexpected arrival that will allow the heroes to recover and push back.
I feel the Firetanks fit in because they have an unfinished arc with Big Mom, and of all the Supernova, no one seems like a good fit to be aiming for BM's head. Also, because the cover story is about the Firetanks and seems to be dragging a lot, I think it will lead them back into the main story, maybe concluding in the same chapter they make their comeback.
Plus, with every known trump card (Sulong, Drake turning, Marco arriving, and so on) being spent at the beginning of the fight, it's likely that the heroes will be saved by an arrival that wasn't in their plans.

The Supernovas are often presented as somewhat stronger than the crewmates. I feel we will see one or two chapters that will completely change our view of the Tobiroppo and Big Mom children (the part about them overwhelming the heroes), with their bounties being revealed and suddenly the crew is fighting guys that range from ~300 million to ~900 million, putting the highest of them just bellow the Calamities.
I don't think Kidd or Law will have back up if that happens though, they need to show they can take them on there own like Luffy did
I feel this will be our only chance of seeing their crewmatess actually fighting, since I don't think guys like Bepo or Killer will get their own fights. Plus, by being aided by their crews, it helps to explain why the Supernovas will still be in fighting shape to proceed to challenge Kaido.
I have no idea how Marco and Presopero are gonna fall into the fray, although a lot of people seem to want the latter to fight Sanji
I feel Sanji vs Perospero fits a lot.
Perospero was the third biggest opponent in WCI after Big Mom and Katakuri.
He killed Pedro, something that Sanji feels responsible for.
He uses food as a weapon.
He has a whooping 700 million bounty.
Anyone who does not use fire is pretty much defenseless against Peros' powers.
I think Carrot will attack Perospero to avenge Pedro, be overwhelmed by him, and Sanji will come to the rescue. (Yeah, Carrot fans will probably not like this prediction).
If Carrot turns out to be the next crewmate, thought, I can see her fighting Perospero instead, thought I really don't know how she could win against his candy powers. He defeated Chopper and Brook at the same time with no effort.
I do really like the idea of all the straw hats fighting Big Mom well Luffy fights Kaido, I really hope that happens
Yep, I think it's nice, since it would essentially be the Curlyhats + Jinbe + Firetanks, the same team we had in WCI, plus Usopp/Robin/Franky. Also, this could be a moment for Sanji to shine, as he essentially would be the leader of the crew in the absence of both Luffy and Zoro.
I made my sig like on the fly, and I kinda didn't realize it but I have created some interesting couples quite unconsciously.
Most people need to realize the Zoro and Sanji bromance will no longer be the most important combatant duo anymore, Zoro and Jinbro are set to have a good relationship, and things cannot longer be based on "this two don't get along very well", like Bon Clay-Daz Bones and Kaku-Jabra, that's over guys, no longer here. puff. gone.
The new Zoro and Jinbro couple are there to fight the two most interested Tobi Roppos in becoming Calamities, Who'sWho and Sasaki, there's like no other way around. And that's obviously the next step for Zoro. not the Calamities yet.
The next couple of boys, are the "traitors", Drake and Yamato, who'd be fighting the Dino-Siblings, Ulti seems quite obsessed with Yamato, so there it is, Drake's versus is the only one I don't feel confident enough, because if Apoo remains a villain, that'd be a good versus as well, having Apoo trying to take down Drake to make sure he gets to be a Tobi Roppo by the end of the battle.
A dino fight ala Indominous vs T-Rex would be much appreciated as well, but still, I don't feel that much confident.
And then, the Worst Gen duo of Kid and Law, red and blue, Luffy's competitors, they must take down the Calamities, I mean Urouge pulled that off, they're pretty much capable of achieving it as well, Law's been taking down the second in command since PH, so I don't think that trend is going anywhere, and would be the least he could fo to justify his position in the alliance.
Kidd in the other hand, yeah, Mecha vs Kaiju, there's nothing else to it. We all want that.
Sanji, unfortunately, is the only one without a couple here. he feels guilty for Pedro and taking down a 700Million bounty man would justify for his "non versus at all" throught all the way in the NW.
I wish I could figure who's fighting Black Maria, Apoo and Hawkings are too brutal for her, everyone else is just busy. Robin 99% will be looking for the Road Poneglyph, hope I could read lots of ideas here.

I really think those two are just at two different levels.
And if we have to go by "musician", there's Jikogu Benten, who's quite interesting.

We don't really know that, and you shouldn't trust Peros that much.
However, the fandom does seems like its pretty much divided between Tobi Roppos or Calamities for the SH's, and no side would convince each other of otherwise, so since the official matches aren't too far away, let's just wait.
Also, trying to guess versuses is pretty fun in this series, it's like scratching a lottery ticket and wait to see how many you got right.

Sure he can do a reversal, but primarily he disagrees with the alliance and wants to show Big Mom Pirates supremacy.
And while he named Marco as one od his targets alongside Luffy and King, he was fighting and infiltrating the festival alongside him.
You cant elevate Luffy to Yonkou status (even if the stalemate will be broken) if his strongest subordinates can only take care od third class Beast Pirates. And i said especially Zoro because, considering the series is ending soon enough and this arc will conclude with the world being engulfed in war, his strength should not be that far off from Mihawk, even if in the end he has to fight someone else for the title.
And Jinbe has already proven he is beyond that class of pirates, meaning roppo, and Sanji already proved his superiority over P1.
None of them would do an underdog fight in which they need to grow
