Well, it's 16 minutes out of 60 minutes of material. But I didn't find this one that funny, just jokes again and again of how this season is stupid.

Did they really re-used that password joke?
-
"I summon a-uh never mind losing consciousness."
Well, it's 16 minutes out of 60 minutes of material.
This episode actually covered 5 in the series, but quite a few times this season LK has practically just been cutting single episodes in half. The last episode for instance doesn't really cover anything but he keeps it in rather than just throw it out altogether.
But I didn't find this one that funny, just jokes again and again of how this season is stupid.
He's done the same thing 79 straight times now, where have you been? This one was a little disappointing though. I'm looking forward to the faceoff with Dartz. The actual duel is worse than Season 1 standards and that's saying something. LK is going to rip it apart.

Turns out the Orichalcos was the friends we made along the way
-
Are we finally getting close to the end of this arc after years? We've been in the filler arc since like, 2015.
Then after this there's still a filler tournament, and then the final arc?
….we've got a long way to go.

Yeah, I kinda wish LK had just done something skip over or at least greatly reduce the time spent on this arc (like how TFS skipped Garlic Jr.) But then this arc has given us some pretty great moments, so…
But yes, we should only have two episodes left in this arc.
-
LK doesn't like this season, so he wanted to riff on every stupid plot thing as much as possible.
It's just that it translated into a long time for the series to be stuck on this arc.
Double edged sword really. -
I hope that the tournament of the fairy tales dude is faster paced.
-
I do hope he skips the Tournament arc, LK at least referenced and had fun with Dartz before even getting to that arc so he's going to have his fun with that, but nothing with that arc.
-
That episode was a little weak, but at least it's time for Dartz and the stupidest duel since Mako's in S1.

There's enough material for another 2 episodes, maaaaaybe a long finale episode but LK hasn't done one of those yet.
I hope that the tournament of the fairy tales dude is faster paced.
It's much shorter than this arc, that's for sure. But since LK does episodes every two months, the tourney could easily last close to a year. Ugh.
-
New episode is up, and it's a Super Special Awesome 30 minute episode!
-
The Dartz speech gimmick really gets tired after 30 minutes. There's not much left in the season so I'm a little surprised LK is (presumably) doing another episode instead of stuffing it into this one. Maybe that was the plan but then the episode got too long.
-
Or maybe he's going to rush right through the next filler tournament and get onto the final arc finally after years.
-
And thus ends the Waking the Dragons arc. And not for nothin', but uh…
But, if I estimate correctly, I'd say we only have five episodes left in the abridged version.
Called it.
-
So I guess they really are rushing to the final arc.

With this it dawns on me that the abridged has reached the point where I stopped watching. I think I actually need to find I place to watch Yugioh now. Weird.
-
He could do the fairy tale vs Kaiba tournament in like one chapter for completitude, or even less.
-
So I guess they really are rushing to the final arc.
If he wants to rush he can, he's been doing this well over a decade now and he's more than entitled. But starting the final season next year doesn't mean he'll get through it next year. Just this last episode alone took three months, and that's with someone else doing the editing now.
This last arc took like three and a half years and 19 episodes to get through 40 episodes of anime. Id think if he was in a rush to get it all done with he'd have sped through the filler arc rather than the canon one.
The last season of the show is 52 episodes, though the first 14 episodes of that are a filler tournament arc he could probably do in a single episode.
There's also Capsule Monsters to deal with if he wants to since that canonically takes place between those two arcs… but he hasn't done capsule monsters in years so he probably doesn't care. And also the newest movie which he will probably do at the end. Plus season 0 if he wanted to do something with psycho killer Yugi...
Though I guess if he's scripted way in advance and really hunkers down and puts out an episode a month he could probably finish in a year if he really wanted.
-
Hard to believe he's on the final arc. To think it's been over 10 years since he started this…damn that's something.
I think he'll do the filler tournament, because isn't it the last real time there are any card games? Isn't the final arc some random board game?
-
Last arc is an RPG that ultimately ends with a card game.
-
He will most likely do Dark Side of Dimensions.
But makes sense he skips the grand-Pre because he never really referenced or did anything with the characters like he did with Dartz
-
Darts' voice was the best part of these episodes.
-
Yeah, I just saw this on Twitter. Really hope the best for his health.
-
Well, look who's back
-
Woah, its been like, 2 years. I know he's had some major health issues but I figured he was done.
I guess he only needs to get through one more arc and then its finished. I can understand that he'd want to go the distance.
Of course there's still capsule monsters and season 0 after…
-
I would LOVE if he finished season 0.
Psycho killer Yami was so fuckin good."Hey Kaiba! You stole my Grandfather's card, so I took your bodyguard's kidneys! I believe that's a fair trade~!"
"Ushio! Baby! How's it hanging?
Get it? 'Cause you're donna die! :D""You think my Satanic powers are… neat?
I hate you. With all of my hate." -
Dark side of dimensions would also be good (but with youtube being youtube is probably not worth the effort especially how recent it is compared to the rest of the series) just because that movie is just peak Kaiba.
-
I cast Monster Reborn on this thread!
Don't know if anyone still cares, but Little Kuriboh just dropped a new episode. The first in over a year.
-
I care! I started rewatching the series recently and it's humour still holds up damn well. Some of it would probably be considered offensive now, but the writing is just so sharp and his voice acting so funny. I just finished the first season, which got better and better with each episode, but his first Abridged Movie has been my absolute highlight so far.
-
I don't even remember where I left off. If an episode was released a year ago I don't know if I would have even watched that one.
-
Time for our annual episode of YGO Abridged.
-
That was pretty fun. Kaiba secretly acknowledging Joey is more wholesome than it has any right to be
I appreciate that he's still making the effort and wants to finish the whole thing but I'm amazed he didn't just do this filler arc in a single episode to get through it. At this rate it's going to take 4 more episodes just to finish this filler arc.
And then the final storyline is like 25 episodes. He might be able to cover that in 10 or so episodes but that's just... so, so many years to go at the pace he's going.
This is Yugioh Abridged's 18th anniversary! This series has been going for a WHILE.

This series is old enough to vote. It could go to war and die for its country.
Anyway, the Kamen Rider bit really amused me since, if you follow LK's Twitter, you'll know he actually is a big Kamen Rider fan.
And it's always great to see Hair Guy again.

Kaiba calling Joey a good duelist caught me off guard, but I loved it!
