@Zephray:
Vinland Saga just wrapped up, and that didn’t even get a dub. No idea why Amazon scoops up titles and never makes dubs for them. Vinland was the best show of the year (alongside Mob) and it won’t even get a Blu-ray or dub release.

So there are three possible answers:
- This smut makes more money than OP when you factor in OP’s cost versus earnings.
- Toei is for some reason being difficult, even though some other countries are caught up and simuldubbing.
- The people in charge at Funimation are idiots with shit taste.
Amazon clearly doesn't know what to do with anime, if their Anime Strike double paywall thing was any indication. They basically get a whole bunch of stuff directly from Japan because the Japanese arm of the company serves on the production committee for many titles like Vinland. They have apparently sub-licensed some of their titles to companies like Sentai, so there's hope for a Vinland dub and physical release one day, but be prepared to wait for that.
I'm gonna go with number 3, because I refuse to believe that shows like 'Loser Gets Flushed to Another World' gets even a fraction of the viewers that the OP simul-sub gets. And at this point, I don't think it's Toei holding things up, they've given Funi the go-ahead ages ago and Funi likely has several episodes in can, ready to go. I think it's just that they're stringing themselves wayyyy too short with dubbing 20+ (mostly) low-tier shows each season, and insisting that they need to come out 3 seconds from when they air in Japan. That's the only way I can rationalize their ass-backward priorities at this point.
