Heh, what a chapter. I wonder if Tamago is out for good or if he will turn out to be another Cracker-like shell (see what I did there ? ).
The Pudding reveal wasn't entirely unexpected, but is still a nice plot twist. We should really have seen it coming, though: between Mama's mention of a "sacrifice" wedding, the fact that many of her siblings are psycho loonies (how could such an environment breed a pure white duckling ?), the "safe road to WCI" trap… Heh. The bigger the lie, the more we readers buy it I guess ?
Not all of it makes sense, tough. For starters unless we learn later on that she is the third Sweet Commander, I'll have a hard time believing that frail little Pudding was able to subdue Reju on her own when the later has been hyped as a genetically-enhanced top-notch assassin all along.
Still, I'd be curious to hear how this fits in CountMario's view on the rest of the arc
@pariston_hill:
I wonder what all the minks seem to implying with the dawn of a new age?
I would hazard a guess that they know a lot more than they let out on the Void Century and possibly what awaits at Raftel. Considering the Mnks were never a part of the World Government (and so were never exposed to propaganda/historical revisions), their ties with Wano - another non-affiliated country whose artisans created the poneglyphs - and everything about their hidden country - from Zunisha to the hidden road poneglyph… It stands to reason that they would at some point in history they would have had extensive knowledge, and the means to preserve it, be it through oral tradition.
All of this is likely linked as well to the Fishman island propechy, the arch Noah, Joyboy's promise, ... There is a very interesting theory floating out there about the nature of One Piece and so far all of the above fits in just nicely.
