      Big Mom being amnesiac could lead to both entertaining or very underwhelming scenarios. I hope she won't be an ally against Kaido, it would completely undermine the significance of the alliance's victory if a powerful pirate from the same generation of Kaido, like Big Mom, would interfere in a way to be crucial for the outcome. This victory should be achieved by the alliance that was formed at Zou, even if Luffy won't fight Kaido 1 on 1 that will still be a victory by the alliance the he formed, and thus a victory as a pirate against the pirate Kaido.

      Rather, speculating about what Oda has in store for Big Mom now, we know that the marines intercepted her talk with Kaido and we also know that they aren't too happy about two emperors meeting, especially emperors as hot blooded as them. Akainu was uncertain about sending marine forces at Wano since they don't know the extent of Wano's forces, but if they go there with an admiral (Kizaru, since the other two are at Marijoa) and other strong vice-admirals, and if once there they decide to target the Straw Hats specifically, then Big Mom's role in all of this could be just to stop the marines.

      Big Mom was always essentially a child, now that she lost her memories her new personality could vary depending on the people that she meets, and with someone as good natured as Chopper i don't think it's far fetched that she could become good natured as well. Even if the rest of her crew once reunited with her would be furious about supporting the Straw Hats they would never disobey her or abandon her in a fight against an army of powerful marines, thus we would have Big Mom pirates vs Marines in one side and the Pirate alliance vs Kaido and Wano's forces in the other, happening at the same time.

      If that will happen i would still think that a memory loss is a lackluster move by Oda, but surely much better that Big Mom helping against Kaido, and i would be really hyped if a double war of such scale should happen.

      @Maju:

      since he was assigned to the dressrosa/prodence convoy..no,he wasn't him.

      It doesn't seems like it, since he asks if that was the dressrosa/prodence group right away as he jump aboard, and king riku doesn't recognize him at first. He also get called back to the other ship later.

      Was Coby leading the escort of Lulusia Kingdom? Sakazuki is probably already pissed enough for Coby's actions at Marineford and generally for Coby's very different ideals from his own… With the fleet admiral disliking him so much, Coby will have to achieve extremely heroic actions if he wants to make it to the rank of admiral.

      I'm not convinced that Sanji getting that raid suit is narratively a good idea for now, but maybe Oda will manage to make it enough likeable later on, we'll see.

      By the way, Helmeppo's words "I wasn't able to sense a thing" may imply that he also can use the colour of observation, even though not as much as Coby.

    • RE: Chapter 902: End Roll

      Beautiful beautiful ending for a pretty good arc!

      The Katakuri - Brulee part was the best. I especially liked how it was revealed that Katakuri never really hid his mouth because he gave a damn about being shunned, but only for the sake of his siblings, it gives both an additonal quality of strength and sweetness to his character.

      I feel really sad for Pudding. I understand that the kiss could have led to a real engagement promise between the two for after Sanji's journey with the Straw Hats will be over, but in that case Oda would have had to renounce to the gags of Sanji flirting with Nami and Robin, and most of all that would have been a major and maybe unnecessary change for Sanji's character through his journey, his character's concept should be focused on being the gentleman cook who consider his crew like his own family and at the same time is searching for the All Blue with them, adding such an important promise would have just shaken his concept too much, their future is best left uncertain as it is imho. But nevertheless i hope that at end of series they will meet again and end up together, they have something in common like a similar childhood of being shunned and also their interest in cooking, so i'm banking on that ending for them. Maybe Pudding will keep that memory film and give it back to Sanji when the end comes.

      What it's bugging me now is, how it turned out for Jinbe and Germa? Of course they're not going to die, but when will know what happened, in a few chapters when we'll read whatever Morgans will choose to report or in a thousillion chapters when Jinbe shows up at Wano and tells everything?

    • RE: The Promised Neverland

      @Maju:

      I find difficult to believe that he had food at his disposal for 13 years straight without it going bad..even canned food does go bad after that much time…only think i can think of is if his diet is exclusively made of rice with honey,vinegar and booze..maybe there are a couple other aliments that don't go bad,but are hardly part of a sufficient and balanced diet.

      also, 13 years alone in a facility would make anyone go insane, no matter how much comfort you believe you have, you will prefer to go out and die.

      problem is,if this is a "test" ,i fail to see what he is testing them for.

      EDIT: also,he knows way too much about them just from that tattoo

      The food thing is a bit weird yeah, but there are types of food that can last that long with the right techniques of preservation, it's not impossible.

      He knows about them probably because the demons warned the surrounding area that 15 kids escaped Grace Field, they even promised a reward, we don't know how they spread the news but if they have technology similar to the radio maybe he just intercepted the news from that bunker.

      Maybe it's just an act, but i'd prefer if he was really that coward, it would be far more interesting as a character.

      Decent chapter, didn't expect Perospero to have such a bounty. I hope it will switch to Sanji & co next chapter, i'm really curious to see the dynamics in preparing the cake.

    • RE: One Piece 6th Official Characters Popularity Poll announced

      @Count:

      This is the first poll in which he has made it into the Top 50, and he beat out Akainu despite Teach still not appearing in post-timeskip besides mentioned off-panel events. He still deserves to be higher, but this is still progress I am willing to celebrate when he was in the latter 60's last time.

      That's true. I think the news of his crew beating the remnants of the WB's pirates contributed to his recent slight increase of popularity.

      I'm really happy that Jinbe made it to the top 10, and i'm glad that Bartolomeo got out. Now if only Law, Ace and Sabo would have got out too….

      I struggled to hold the urge to vomit when i saw Reiju above Usopp, not that Usopp losing 2 or 3 positions was totally unexpected due to not being involved in the recent arc (and due to most reader who constantly switch their favourite characters depending on who is more involved in the most recent events), but Reiju being the favourite character of so many people is baffling.

      It's even more baffling to see Brook at 19th position after all he has done recently. I think those polls aren't completely indicative of the characters popularity amongst the fandom, they only allow you to choose your favourite character but not to give a rating to them, maybe Brook isn't the type of character that most reader would consider their one favourite character, but still amongst the about 80000 who have voted most would have rated him higher than a Reiju or a Cavendish if the poll was based on ratings (which would be impossible due to how many characters there are in OP).

      I'm surprised Caesar didn't even make it to the top 50, i mean he was clearly not going to rank that high but still some of his moments, like where he's treated like a punching bag wherever he was forced to go since Punk Hazard lol, were genuinely funny.

      Why does Perona rank always that high? Is it because of her dark emo outfit? If so, is the looks of a character enough to choose him/her as your favourite character?

      Last but not least, Teach not even being in the top 30 is…. indecorous, as always.

    • RE: Greg: Teacher of SUPER " OP " course !

      @Kaido:

      There's at least 7 more

      Wano, Elbaf, four islands around Raftel, Raftel

      and probably the final island that the Log Pose points to

      @Count:

      Are we absolutely sure that we'll even see those five islands? I mean, I really REALLY want to. At least the island at the end of the New World after all of the years of thinking that is where Raftel was. But I still feel a bit dubious.

      The island at the end of the New World we'll see it for sure. I don't think Oda mentioned that place that probably all the 4 emperors reached it and thus hyping both the informations and "how" those information are reported there without planning that the main characters would reach it. If you think about it the knowledge of the exact location of Raftel can't be the only think needed for reaching the island itself, there's got to be more, otherwise in 800 years someone would have just reached the island by just navigating randomly, its location being unknown can't possibly be the only reason no one ever found it, and in that final island at the end of the log pose there's probably the key, the informations or riddles that hint at what is needed, other that its location, for reaching Raftel.

      As for the other islands, i also hope to see some of them, i don't think we'll see 4, but maybe after the long and serious arc of Wano and the Reverie Oda might throw in a mini-arc in some unknown island as a refreshing break, just as the Davy Back Fight after Skypiea.
