So I guess now comes in play luffy's special power to make allies in anyone. Sun pirates, jimbei, pekoms( well, we was in deep trouble himself), Pound will protect luffy, similar how those guys protected the sunny ship in the time skip…

It would be disappointing if Oda let Luffy be captured. I hope he will find a scenario where he is able to stay until Sanji come back. That would give so much more impact to his return scene.
I guess Nami getting control of the 2 hommies could be a start (she could also use the other hommies like this mountain next them) but will that be sufficient.

It would be out ot tempo if it's her saying "Let's marry", since she's trying to help more than thinking about her happiness. It's clearly Sanji's proposal.

aand.. here's the negative part of Luffy almost losing his crew rearing it's head. He's even more fiercely protective when he actually should realize that they have to run. Luffy and Nami on their own can't take that whole army out. I mean logical character development dictates that Luffy should put his pride away and for once run and then find a better way to fight back. Luffy's also exhausted after he defeated one of Big Mom's commanders.
This all makes the scenes with Luffy and Nami in the chapter kinda painful to read. Ouch.

You can assume that they are homies due to the nature of Big Mom's abilities. In essence, Big Mom would be putting a part of her soul in a cloud and fire. Then they come to life and are capable of what is being shown.

technically the army should have no reason not to kill luffy, BUT at the same time Big Mom was seemingly intrigued with luffy last time we checked..maybe she will ask to first see the boy who opposed her so bravely..isn't that the same reason why she spared fishmen island?
other han that, i relaly don't see how things can move from now..an help for an outsiders would be kind of out of place in plain enemy territory…jinbe can't help since it's still under big mom and if he could have betrayed her like that he wouldn't have ask permission to leave in the first place....other than him luffy has no real ally in the island..even though we haven't really saw if there are guests for the marriage.

Luffy vs the Army just reminded me how Roger used to fight against all odds when protecting a comrade but I'm not expecting Luffy to win this battle despite Nami being able to control the homies including Prometheus and Zeus which I'll go head and assume that Nami can probably destroy half that arm by herself just by seeing how crazy the weather is; great chapter thou.

That does make me ponder about what'll happen to the homies if Big Mom is defeated. Will all the souls go back to their original owners? To have Luffy basically die and force his allies to fight Big Mom in order to resurrect him would be interesting, to say the least.

Yeah, I'm still unsure if she's good or evil myself. I'd like her to be the nice person she seems to be right now, but with Big Mom as her mother and the environment she's been raised in, that's quite unlikely.
Bad thing is: Sanji seems to have found some little comfort in her… At the moment, she's the only good thing around him, and I don't want him to be broken later if it turns out she's been acting all along. :/
Dammit I'm so late. I just read the chapter in MS. Let's see… It looks like Luffy is turning into Roger really fast, with all this recklessness and refusal to back down thing. He'll definitely survive this and I'm dying to know how. He's really adamant on staying there, and at this point we can be sure that Sanji must return for him to move out of there or even eat food. I'm not so worried though because plot will make it sure that Luffy gets what he wants.
Really excited about next chapter. Will Luffy beat the enraged army by his worn-out self all alone, or just with some help from Nami? Will Jimbei and the fishman pirates turn out? Will there be some unexpected friends to defend him? Or will the other half of the SH just pop out in there, with the help of Vegapunk who has the nikyu nikyu no mi and ready to join the crew (hehe)? Well, anything is fine as long as it's not the result of Sanji convincing Big Mom to let them be in exchange of him marrying.
I have always been suspicious of Pudding. Can't shake the feeling that she isn't genuine. And it is just revealed that Big Mom pretty much is raising her children to be violent. It's puzzling how can she be so sweet and meek.
Sanji... Well, it's pretty much established that nothing will go his way in this arc. His plans will never bear fruit. Pretty sure, he'll want to return to Luffy soon as he realizes his mistakes. Too bad though, because the plot will keep that from happening until the moment Luffy has to fight Big Mom. I believe that this "Luffy staying on that place until Sanji feeds him" scenario is this arc's plot device to keep Luffy out of the battles before the final fight, which happens every arc.

Don't forget: Big Mom herself mentioned early on (chapter 827) that the wedding day/tea party involved a "devilish sacrifice", which may or may not be Straw Hat Luffy (her dialog is ambiguous). So yes, regardless of what the army apparently set out to do (in the eye of Yonji, aka an uninformed observer) / normally does in similar situations, there may exist an ulterior motive that justifies capture. For all we know, everything up to this point including Cracker's intervention (maybe not his defeat though) could have been part of a greater scheme.
Either way I would find it absolutely awesome if Luffy (if need be with the help of Nami and any number of impromptu allies) somehow managed to repel the army and still be standing in that spot when comes the wedding day.
On a side note, I see numerous mentions of Jinbei coming to the rescue. Considering what the news had to say about him and the unknown outcome of Big Mom's farewell roulette, I would be tempted to label him as "needing rescue" at the moment. If any fishmen are getting involved in Luffy's battle, I would instead expect Aladdin and the rest of the crew who would be desperate to aid their captain.

Even though Sanji is in a tight position right now, him revealing all that info to Puddin seemed kinda excessive at this point and going as far as calling her "her only ally" makes me think that Sanji has placed his plan in motion already.
I cant accept the fact that Sanji hasn't shown glimpses of a plan yet.

This chapter had me so surprised wtf. Last panel was great. Sanji not even caring about Luffy getting targeted despite admitting his crew is getting affected too… I really don't know what's going to happen next and I really just want to enjoy the ride, the whole arc since Zou has been the best OP has been for a long long while, let's hope this Sanji affair has a good conclusion, plan or no plan from him

Pineapple is actually the general english name for all countries that speak english.
Brazil cleary doesn't use anana based off KageKageKing's post. Also most asian languages don't use anana to my knowledge (most don't use pineapple either).
In arabic(majority of middle east and north africa) it is called "Ananas", so it's mostly the same.
