This is weird to me. If you go back in this thread a year, a year and a half to when the first allegations came forward of a rape charge, I defended the guy, and very strongly because he was a big part of my childhood and I didn't want to believe it, and I made a big rant in general about "why are we even bothering to talk about this, this isn't news." And I still sort of feel that way on the celebrity gossip topic in general, we do spend way too much time on complete nonsense when there's actual world shaking events going on. Who gives a shit about what Britanny Spears wears when she goes grocery shopping, or anything the Kardashians or Duck Dynasty guy have ever done.
And then a whole lot more women came forward and there just wasn't any doubt or reason to believe him. One person might just be a money seeker crazy fan that's exaggerating something, but once you hit two or three in short order claiming the same thing, there's not much question that he's a rapist. Once you hit fifty, holy shit, put that guy in jail, don't bother with the damn trial.
And so, a year ago my reaction would have been "Aww, that's too bad, such a shame." And now my reaction? "Aww, that's too bad, such a shame."

That was back in like, November. Based on the assumption that his level of inflamatory remarks would scare off voters, and the idea that the Republican party would be sane or responsible enough to band together and have some other bare minimum semi-reasonable middle ground candidate to really have against him. Maybe not someone they really really believed in, but at least someone they could balance against him… or at least split the vote three or four ways so he couldn't grab it outright with a majority. Its the same thing basically all the media outlets were assuming.
Obviously, that was vastly underestimating that 6% chunk of the population of blatant racists that when comprising voters gave him solid numbers in a 17 way race... while also overestimating the competence of the republic party, or their sense of self sacrifice or unity. They didn't have another reasonable John McCain type somewhere to pull out? I started dreading the inevitability after they still had a ton of guys on Super Tuesday. They took months too long to narrow their field to three people, didn't start unifying against Trump till he had a huge lead, and then both of the remainders gave up too soon and just handed the majority to Trump rather than having a split convention.

The question comes, will Milo actually die on this grave or grow stronger? Unfortunately, history shows the latter will happen.
Things like this have tended to backfire tremendously so far.Milo can either make a new account (which people will all flock to), or Twitter will get tired of people yelling at them and unban him.
I've seen this thing happen a million times over, this probably won't be a big deal for either side. -

1.) A therapist is trying to help out an autistic lad, so... why not leave him to it? See what he can do?
2.) Someone, SOMEHOW, thought this was a suicidal situation and called 911.
3.) The cops decide to SHOOT a supposedly SUICIDAL person. That's ass backwards in itself. WTF was the logic there?
4.) Not only unarmed, he was flat on his back and hands literally in the air.The saving grace of this stupid, STUPID outcome is that the guy lived.

A friend of mine asked if I wanted to go out shopping, for once I'm glad I had to correct homework. Things are pretty crazy out there, I've been hearing sirens going off for over an hour and they're still going strong. Luckily, everyone I know seems to be fine so far, one of them works in a flower shop at the Stachus and is stuck there.
