Great update, thanks for the new volume.
BTW, anyone knows where to download volumes 71 & 72 Digital Colored Raws?
Usually we had them before the translation, I'd like to save them too.
Thanks!

I guess some of the scanlators of the digital colored version are here on ap. I was wondering where have you bought the raws. The size is only 1200px. Have you checked out japanese itunes? The quality of the digital One Piece release by viz varies depending on the plattform (itunes offers a better quality 2100px than the viz server only 1200px)

wow, thanks liljohn and Snir.

The source size on all readers is 1200p for these digital comics.
Not like anything higher would look any better though. It'd just be bloated.

Ah ok.
In my opinion there is a major difference in the black and white version if you have a higher quality. When looking for easter eggs the itunes version has its advantages:
e.G. You can read what is written on the menu on the itunes version:

Hello, tell me please, where you can look the rating of all the chapters of One Piece Weekly Shonen Jump? I know that the issue is not potemateke Foum, but I recently here, so I do not know where else to ask. Thank you!
Not entirely sure what you mean by "the rating". But I guess this is what you wanted http://jumpranking.seesaa.net/
It's in Japanese but fortunately you can find the title ONE PIECE easily. Let me know if you need some translation. I can do a little, just a little :P
Each page only shows the result of the recent 5 issues of Shonen Jump, since it shows the ratings/rankings of all the ongoing manga series. I haven't found a source for the ranking of all ONE PIECE episodes alone. I have a plan to go over that entire archive (back to 1997) and create a spreadsheet for the famous ones but haven't started yet. Just lazy :P
Hope that helps.
I'd like a second (and even a third) opinion from a Japanese speaker on what Dragon is saying on this page from chapter 440 (particularly the top left "double" bubble and the bottom right bubble). please don't look at a translation beforehand, I'd like an uncoloured translation so that I can objectively compare it to the viz version.
Bernie,
The two bubbles you mentioned seem to be very tricky. I looked up several versions of Chinese translation. None of them makes perfect sense. I may understand what he is trying to say but I'm not sure, need further confirmation. I'v asked some people about it and will let you know if I hear anything satisfactory.
I think the other bubbles are straightforward, there's no confusion.
@Galaxy:
I'll PM you the HQ link to Volume 70 when I'm home later today.
Hi, Galaxy, can I have the HQ link of Volume 69 and 70? Thanks! I really appreciate that!
Holy crap, these are great! When I first heard of these, I thought these were just cheap fan-edits. Worse, I expected those hastily done digital recolors of old American comics that so often either replace quality coloring with very basic solid colors and very often blur the detailed inking of these comics essentially constituting nothing less than outright vandalism. The Bad tends to often outweigh the good.
But these….Wow! Line detail is maintained throughout and there is great variation in the colors. The only odd exception is every human character having the exact same skin tone with rare exceptions which puts in the same uncanny valley of B&W colorized movies where the skin tone is improbably identical on every Caucasian character. But that is so easy to overlook in the grand scheme.
Oh, and if you ever catch up with

I agree there. I do much of my manga and comic reading through CBR with zoomed in panels so I can see the comics in the best available detail and to best appreciate the inking and artistry. Those itunes scans are clearly superior and allow better zooming without losing the line or inking integrity.

If this is from a volume between 32-39, it'll be fixed once nitoryu releases their version.
Question guys, I was reading the color version of the manga on Batoto when all of a sudden like 200+ chapters just vanished including the ones I was reading. Does anyone know the reason? A few sites still have them, but they're in a ridiculous format where the entire chapter is all in one page and you have to scroll down to read it which is very annoying.

Batoto has a new policy, you now have to subscribe in order to read older chapters.

That's from volume 37. In case the original source that you have used had those pages corrupted, here are the translated pages of those two from mangafox. I have confirmed that 'Null' was the translator of that chapter: The exact same translator you have used for that volume.
!
!
Sorry for any inconvenience, Bernie, and thanks for your help.
Edit: The problem with Nitoryu is that they might take years to release volume 37. It's been many months after their release of volume 30 & 31, and they still haven't released volume 32.

Just click on the latest chapter you see, and start reading from there. Above and underneath the image, you can select the chapter or volume that you desire to read without subscription.

I'm signed in on Batoto, and I'm seeing the same thing doomrider7 reported: tons of missing chapters, including every chapter from 442-513, 614-646, and 669-700. In fact, it looks like, from the end of the Post-Enies Lobby arc to the beginning of Dressrosa, a majority of the chapters are missing. As in, only ~38 chapters are present between 442 and 700, from what I'm seeing.

Nitoryu's policy is to release a volume every 3 months. Or if they're doing double releases, 2 every six months. They're still well within their schedule and Nep_Ece has mentioned that he's getting ready for releases at the end of December.
The chapters on batoto were deleted at our request. I'll be re-uploading them again.
Hey BCrane, will you Uploaded volume 68 and 69 on the powermanga web too? or not? or just at batoto? thankyou btw for your hardwork.
Can someone post a link for vol 42 colored? Or at least chapters 401 and 402? plz and thx

Here you go. This site has all the colored chapters so far.
16ch of thank you!
Does someone here know why the colored manga was removed from Kissmanga? It's now the same as batoto with lots of chapters missing. I've read this post @BernieCrane:

is there is no hope that one day we might get a torrent link with all the 72 colored volume , accurately named and translated in HQ quality ? is that dream impossible ? Galaxy 9000 , Snir , BernieCrane ?

I don't know about one place that has all of them anymore, but here's a link to a site with the first 700 chapters (i.e. volumes 1-70) in color (doesn't seem to be missing any as far as I can tell), and then the remaining ones (volumes 71 and 72) still have all their chapters on KissManga here.
Man I'm dying for the next colour releases. It's been nearly a year since volumes 71 and 72 dropped. This set has come too far and looks too good to just stop now!
I dream of at least three new volumes being released at once to make up for the wait. The odds aren't good, sure, but it sure would be nice.

its low quality scan on goodmanga and kissmanga (the only place with HQ scans) have only 383 chapters out of the 721 colored chapters
I already have all the chapters in LQ , what i want is a link or a source like how binkyland team used be .
YOu will find all digital coloured volumes on mangatraders and madokami (scanlations and even raws)
Give me a day or so to find my flash drive and I'll make a torrent of the HQ scans from OPDCC before they took theirs it down from Nyaa.
IIRC, I have volumes 1 to whatever Powermanga stopped at. 71 or 72 maybe?

madokami is not down - I just used it. They changed the url quite a while ago and is log in protected. LOL
There are no real HQ scans since digital Jump/Shueisha volumes in Japan only have a size of 1200px and look awful to begin with - original files are jpgs.(on madokami are both releases jpgs and pngs) I assume the scanlation group just used the jpgs which they extracted from ebookjapan, itunes jp, kindle - I don't know - and made pngs. The original raw file has quite a low size and quality (compared to viz itunes release) since the digital volumes are made first of all for mobile devices

I'll upload a screen shot of the quality before I make a torrentto show you. But as shadyagent said; they're not that much better than what was on batoto..
I believe the size of the whole .zip file I made was close to 20gigs… Or like, 16? I can't remember. Big enough that it took up too much space on my laptop, lol.

+1. I completely agree with shadyagent's opinion.
The original raw pics are 1200px and in jpg format. By "original" I mean the ones cracked out from ebooks.
When people did the English version using the cracked raws, it was better to save the file as png to maintain the image quality. Jpg pics become more crappy every time they get modified and saved as jpg again, because some compression is done every time the file is saved as a jpg.
Thus in fact a big ~250MB English volume in png has the same image quality as a small ~60MB raw volume. And of course they are all 1200px images.
That being said, I don't think there is an "HQ scan" out there as mentioned by ya'll above guys.
However, if you were talking about the 1200px raws cracked from the ebooks, their quality is fine. You will almost think it is HQ as long as you've never seen the Viz itunes true HQ version as mentioned by shadyagent.

Look dude , when i downloaded the whole manga (72 volume unzipped) from manga traders it was about 3 GB (lowest quality but still not half bad lol) however when i downloaded about 384 chapters (about 60 % of the manga) unzipped too they were about 12 GB ! and the quality was amazing , i personally didn't expect the difference to be so huge , it was like :
LQ page : 200 ~ 250 kb
HQ page : 1 MB ~ 3 MB !
Thank you in advance Densuke !

I am not speaking about the resolution , i am talking about the colors depth and overall image quality , I know that in general the colored volumes's resolution is much lower than the regular manga scans (be it viz or even manga stream lol) but its still not so bad compared to the regular Internet scans that i am used too .

Finally found the drive I kept these on. Vol. 1-72 + Ch761.
Was in the middle of organizing these but it got wayyyyy too tedious so I gave up.
Only got volume 71-72 done.
To repeat shadyagents posts.. The quality of these OPDCC scans are nowhere near the DB scan links posted on the previous page.
The 2 shown above are basically what mine are.
