So, I'm guessing 9 chapters before Gajeel returns, any takers? If he DOESN'T return however, that was actually a touching scene.
Also Mest: bot you done goofed up.

Mest was going against the power of friendship, bad idea on this series.
Gajeel will be down untill the figth with acnkologia. When somehow he says to natsu that he's the last dragon, and the rest of the dragons start reviving and returning
No chance in hell Gajeel stays dead. But despite that, Gajeel and Levy are the only couple of character in this entire series I care about, so I feel this actually works. And they declared their love for each other! No teasing or hinting, a straight up confession. They better not pull a Naruto after this.
It's also impressive how the August situation escalated. Natsu didn't punch him, and having Mest intervene in such a way makes sense with his character, and builds some nice drama.
What the hell Fairy Tail? This was actually good! Now let's see how long it'll last.
Goddammit Mest. You fucked up. Other than that, a very touching chapter because Gajeel was one of the few likable characters in FT.
A touching scene in Fairy Tail? Is this the twilight zone?
I was randomly reading some chapters from the soul society arc and I was wondering, did anything ever happen with that uber powerful sword that has the power of 10 million regular swords that they use to kill shinigami? It makes a really big deal about it but I don't remember if they ever use it again. Seems like the kind of thing that would be useful when you're trying to stop the destruction of the soul society
about time mest did something cool with his power for combat even though he failed augest will be weaker now anyways hopefully gildartz will come to fight him this is the best chapter of the arc i did not see any boob/ass fan service either lol.

Well, the Sokyoku did more than simply "killing" - I believe it outright destroys the person's soul?
Although Bleach power is poorly scaled between two or more parties, since Shikai Ichigo was able to destroy it with ease. I wonder how it was even made in the first place…perhaps 10 million is another case of number exaggeration, like Rukia's "million years of rigidity" line or something.

I believe Ichigo destroyed it, or at least it was implied. Most likely though it's a plot point Kubo never thought of again
As for FT, damn that was a good chapter. The confessions and talking was pretty good, and the way it was all handled actually made it emotional. Of course this all depends on him staying dead completely for the full emotion, but even if he comes back it will still be a great scene. The stuff with August was overall good, and Natsu not screwing it up was a nice change of pace. Though if August did actually die there would be a pissed off Brandish. Overall a solid chapter and nothing I want to complain about.
That kinda reminded me of Reina's death in Rave Master.

Ahh thanks. That makes more sense. And I definitely forgot Ichigo destroyed it at the end of the arc. Talk about a let down haha
Funny as hell her magic makes things big while mest can add change peoples memories august got trolled good lol.
!
Fairy Tail 488
If it wasn't for the almost absolute sureness about all of this will turn out to have a good end, I would nicely say that this was my favorite chapters over all. But I know Gajeel will come back and August will believe-in-good Fairy Tail guys.
However, the title of the next one - Universe One - make me thinks about some sort of multiverse vibes… if August would have such ability... Oh. My. God.
Well, certainly I didn't see that twist coming. Mest's gonna get "a whole different dimension of power level" shoved up his ass.
And that's good! I never liked him.

Ichigo knocked it back while in skikai. It was then destroyed by shunsui and ukitake. Also it has the power of one million zan.
I think they underestimated August and he's actually very strong
That was a good chapter on Fairy Tail. I did not expect that from Mest at all.
I hope Mest gets wrecked or dies…. IDIOT!!!!!
! >! why do i feel that if Gajeel is really dead and stays dead, Levy may be super early Pregnant with Iron Dragon Slayer Babies

Eileen:"When it comes to men, I aim to please."
But at least she wasn't sticking her tongue out, winking and grabbing her own boob while saying that, so it's something.

That is why they were trying to talk to him but i am hoping gildartz takes him out instead natsu lol.

But she will not last long since she will not even be able to damage him which means erza will just learn about her moms death or see her dying lol.
you cannot even consider what acnologia is going to do her R_ _ _ since she came to him asking for it lol.
Aknologia has to sit out like 4 or 5 more bosses, she could have some kind of stasis magic, put him out for a day.
I don't know if it's been mentioned, but someone noticed Fairy Tail's latest chapters have been counting down to one. Five Day's worth of food, the fourth guest, the third seal, The two of us, universe one… It'd be cool if they were all contained within a single volume.

Foreshadowing for the glorious return of Zero?
Looking forward to Gajeel coming back, cause come on guys. This is Fairy Tail.
Decent death scene that was desperately needed in this "ultimate war". Just stay dead Gajeel. Seriously…
Uh Augustus you got stomach wound... Just get an ambulance. Unless you can regenerate and go super sage Naruto mode (inverted style) oops never mind, you already did.
Mest is really a bad guy, I mean, nothing was going to stop Augustus from murdering them... so logic prevails... Mest is an asshole.

I seriously doubt he's dead. He's still needed to defeat Acnologia.

yea
look on how Mashima handled Gray's "Death"
dies in Ch 334 then comes back in ch 335
plus GaLe fans are most likely freaking out and crying today
so yea Gajeel will be most likely be revived with Deus Ex Machina Power from maybe Mavis or some random plot device so that it can be 7 Dragon Slayers VS Acnologia with Natsu dealing the Death Blow
That thing with August was the stupidest thing i've ever seen in Fairy tail, but hey, at least it didn't even come from Natsu. Color me impressed.
Holy crap, a Fairy Tail chapter that I actually liked.
I won´t let the inevitable return of Gajeel ruin it, besides him being a prety cool character and all.
And to be honest, I could actually see him staying dead due to context, but I doubt Mashima has the balls to.

Taking the army general by surprise? I wouldn't call that stupid.

It seemed pretty dumb since he already started to agree to talk it out lol.

If you thought one piece was bad with people not dying then the fact you think he is dead shows you don't read fairy tail since less people die in fairy tail than one piece lol.
he did not even die he was just sucked into a portal thing lol.

August was actually going to give them a chance. They specifically went to his location to avoid conflict. It was foolish of Mest to think he could kill August with a knife and it was foolish to attack someone who could have potentially been on your side. He didn't think this through.
When the situation turns out to be surprisingly favorable for the good guys, someone just has to play the idiot and make everything go south as twist. In this case, no one else is dumb and paranoid enough to pull such stupidity out other than Mest. Thanks to him, we're about to see the power someone who's on a whole 'nother dimension.

And it turns out that Ichigos bigass finisher from the last chapter had NO VISIBLE EFFECT! WHO'D HAVE GUESSED!?!?!!?
So…Many...Metaphors...
I gotta say, I'm not really feeling this fight conversation.
So, to sum it up: a bunch of ink splashed around while Bach pulled out some extra eyeballs to tickle Ichigo's feet. Also, they talked about sand or something.
at least he is doing his hollow hybrid bankai next chapter lol.
I take it that Orihime's work is done now, isn't it?
it's me or what yhwach said in this chapter doesn't really make much sense?
Bach, if you keep this up, you will surpass Tsukishima as my most hated / least favorite Bleach character.
Notice how Kubo is hitting the same beats he did in the first Ichigo/Aizen encounter. Ichigo thinks "how did he dodge that? I need to find a blind spot/weakness" and then Bach/Aizen proceeds to parrot exactly what he is thinking. The eye form looks….completely ridiculous.
I don't know if the sand metaphor has a different translation from version to version, but the way it started off made me think he was going to talk about multiverse theory. This is the problem with villains that have the power to see all and know the future - they simply go "i expected that" or "did you really think that was going to work?" ad nauseum until somehow, the hero overcomes the power, but the longer it goes on, the more BS it feels.
Bach being surprised with last chapter's little attack might mean the more Ichigo Hollows it up, the more he won't be to able see it coming (it's like an unpredictable chaotic magnet?), but who knows. Couldn't Orihime have more significance in mixing things up for Ichigo, considering she's human, not under Bach's "jurisdiction", and he hasn't seen the full extent of her powers???
So as expected the attack had zero effect, and we see Bach give more attempts at depth by talking about the future while Ichigo gets attacks to the foot. The bigger thing is that ending though, where Kubo expects us to actually care about a Bankai, especially with a character who has used it so many times. Sure, it's supposed to be different, but seeing how bland Ichigo's look and ability is I am not excited to see an upgrade to blandness. Kubo had a chance to give a small weakness to Bach so his defeat could be somewhat believable, but instead we get more "my power has no flaws". While Aizen had the same problem have having zero weaknesses, at least he was entertaining, while Bach is just plain boring.
Fairy Bleach Discussion-0: This is the Monado's Power.
Also what the heck is taking Isshin? Please don't tell me Kubo's gonna use him for a retread of the Final Getsuga Tenshou or some nonsense.
it's me or what yhwach said in this chapter doesn't really make much sense?
I don't know if it is a good thing or not, but what he said made perfect sense to me. Basically to try and explain it, as you battle an opponent you gain experience. As you gain experience on that opponent as long as you pay attention and learn from the experience you gain you can change the outcome. However Bach is saying that as you change the outcome he is already able to see the new outcome. I think that is why Ichigo kneeled down and tried to think his way through the fight, something I was NOT expecting. I was very happy to see Ichigo was at least thinking about ending the fight sooner than later, even if we the readers know it isn't going to happen.
I love how on page 16 Ichigo's horn broke when the spikes appeared behind him, yet they are back as he is falling down. Either he has high speed regeneration from his hollow side or someone screwed up in drawing the chapter. It would only make sense that he has high speed regeneration being that he has such a powerful hollow side, however I don't think it has been activated yet. I think that will happen when he ascends or transforms into his level 2 hollow. Pulling out his bankai will be interesting to see, but will do nothing in the fight except show us something new to look at. I believe his final form will be a quincy, shingami, hollow, final form. I kind of liked this chapter.

but if there are anywhere near the amount of "futures" he says there are, that means that some of those must be differ by a considerable amount from on another..with that in mind, even if you are able to see every possible future,to place a trap for each and every one it would mean that you have to rig the entire place, and at that point, you don't even need to predict the future to do so.
basically,he can see all the possible futures, but he can't prepare for all of them, because basically he is preparing for everyhting, and if you must resort to that, you might as well don't predict the future at all
With a villain that can "see all", I feel there's only two real ways for him to lose.
a) his opponents gets unpredictable and manages to use techniques and combinations previous unheard of and/or someone shows up to assist (Bach is Quincy Jesus, so I'm not sure how much this path can work)
b) the villain's demise was destined and part of fate.
….remember when Ichigo wasn't a pawn in someone's scheme?

That seems to be what he tried last chapter, however it wasn't strong enough. I think that is how things will go from now on, new crazy combinations would make sense until Bach calculates that into his future.
