Why do you think that? I think she just covers it with hair, like Sanji does his eye.
It does feels like there is not enough hair blocking it.
Kinda.

Thanks, I forgot about that. I was thinking Garp only told him Dragon was his father, not that he saved him.
Garp told him that already.
No , Vectorkok is right, Garp never said that Dragon saved him, just that he was at Lougetown and met Luffy.
Garp told Luffy that "I heard that you met your dad." …"Didn't he introduce himself? I heard he saw you off at Lougetown?" Then Garp named him as Monkey D Dragon. The revelation is in ch. 432, beginning on pg. 16
Do to starvation, Carrot will eat one of Nami's oranges that has the Snow Snow Fruit. :ninja:
I see how you made that joke about a snow bunny :ninja:
@uniaka:
If there is a traitor, maybe Sicilian because he hates nice things and that is kinda bad guy hint?
He hates sweet things.
Which is a great gag for a lion-mink, since cats can't taste sweet things.
It could also be a hint that he's a traitor, I guess, but it seems like a bit of a stretch.
Die hard seems to be the theme with Kaidou's crew. First the man himself, then Jack that survived both battles with marines and Zunisha. And eve nthe random fodders seem to have it the hard way with kaidou training them, and likely the guy survived after he got the club to the face.
Luffy is going to be screwed so hard…
...by Franky and Sanji
For what happened at Baltigo, it seems like the Blackbeard Pirates surprised the Revolutionaries, who managed to retreat, they tear up the place, in turn, they are surprised by Cipher Pol, and after repelling them, they leave, then CP returns with the Marines.
i think the KHA alliance is going to team up with Pirate/Mink/Ninja/Samurai to fight Kaidou…Kaidou seems to be too overpowered...Kidd had no chance it seems like...guys not even replying to anything lol

What is NOT?
I love his design, like, REALLY. His speech pattern is fun too. And his personality is so pleasant! Like, he is one of the big villain minions, but he is this really cool guy, he is aways being nice with the SH instead of "You little punny pirates! How dare you defy BM???", actually back in FI he was really afraid of the consequences of BM turning against FI what was interesting because none of that would go against him, he was actually worried about the fishmen and even the SH. And now he is talking with Sanji, just chilling, laughing at the SH antics as Sanji talks about it. Oh, Baron…
All of this is why I really like him too. However, I´m dissapointed at his reaction about Bege killing (or so they think) Pekoms. I thought they were buddies.
@Dahaka.:
Making PH and DR a separate saga is a good idea. Adding Zou to it and starting the next saga from the whole cake island arc is nonsensical.
Even that makes no sense. The story that began in Punk Hazard was allying with Law (and the samurai, although back then the SH didn't know that the samurai also had a beef with Kaido) in order to take down emperor Kaido. That is still ongoing. We didn't change focus or anything. I agree that PH and DR go well together and if a saga break had to be made it would be after DR and before Zou, never between Zou and Whole Cake. Hell, we're basically in the middle of these 2. In this chapter, we had a little bit of Zou's resolution with Wanda and Bariete, and Jack in the ocean, as well as a bit of Whole Cake, with Sanji in Big Mom's ship. This is a very transitional phase. How they break Zou from WC into 2 sagas is just moronic. And so is breaking PH and DR, but not so much.
It surely is a bad time for KOL having copyright strikes.
Fun chapter, I liked the color spread alot, always nice to see the Straw Hats just goofing around together.
I like how Luffy can just brush off seeing his dad for the first time, while everyone else goes on about how big a deal the guy is. Instead Luffy is only concerned about the one person he has personal history with. Luffy almost burning the whole ship was great too, as was his attempt at cooking and having everyone react like it's cruel and unusual punishment. And I must say having Luffy fail so hard at cooking was an excellent segue to checking in on Sanji.
Big Mom being based in a candyland is so fitting I couldn't imagine her calling anywhere else home. I had a feeling the Lady Charlotte would be a looker, if only because having her look like Big Mom would've been too straightforward, plus Sanji may actually be conflicted atleast alittle about the whole marriage now, could be interesting to see how that plays out.
Love Kaido's drunken moodswings, and I agree with everyone else who thinks this is pretty much the beginning of Kidd becoming a Straw Hat ally.
Its been said Luffy's gonna mess up the entire 'sneek around' thing. This confirms it. Remember how Luffy acted when the starving crew arrived at Alabasta?
Luffy isn't subtle at the best of times, even less so when he's on a rescue mission for a crew member, but atleast he's consistent like that. I look forward to Luffy causing a disaster that could've been easily avoided.
WTF… no she doesn't ... she becomes Conis 2.0:ninja:
LOL that's pretty much what I thought when I saw her lips.
@.access:
Btw, if that curry is what Luffy sees as a success, I wonder what it took for him to see his other tries as failures.
If this was a side story, i'd read it.
How cool would it be if we got a Zeff flash back with Big Mom? After all it's hinted that maybe Zeff did make it to the new world.
So glad that Sanji's cooking is a point of interest to Big Mom. Now all I need now is for Chopper and his Rumble Balls to become relevant to Kaidou.
So cool i'd be surprised if those things didn't happen.
I like Sanji talk, but didn't he just went against his code? I distinctly remember that he would feed anyone that is angry no matter what. That's why he fed Gin and gave food to Creek.
Different circumstances, if he starts cooking for Big Mom he would be joining her crew.
All but confirmed? Maybe going a little too far with that one.
We've never seen Kaido trying to drown himself. His suicidal tendencies might not ever work like that. Maybe he wants to die by testing his bodily fortitude or something. There are plenty of possible explanations why he doesn't just jump into sea to die.
And fat lips are far from being exclusive to fishmen.
That's why I was careful with my wording for that one saying "he could be…" but we won't ever see Kaido try to sink himself because if he does have this dragon fruit or any fruit for that matter it will be a One way trip to the bottom of the ocean because he'd be an anchor. So don't think we'll be seeing him try that if he can breathe underwater like Jack. That would be a lonely experience for him xD worse than instant death.
Not sure if this is a stand out feature for Purin but she doesn't have the lipstick thing that Big Mom, Lola and Bonney have...
Ok so my thoughts
Considering Wanda's convo with the monkey I assume Carrot has been longing to go to sea and there also seems to be calmness from Wanda that suggests its some sort of dream come true for Carrot.
Secondly, I suggest that Purin isn't a fan of her Mom just as Sanji isn't a fan of his dad. Therefore, their "love" for each other will be on the level of let's scheme and go renegade on our parents. And boy will they be freaking badass messing their high profile families up with Luffy and co as backup.
So new Nakama is likely our super strong Luffy nibbling fury Carrot

I just have to say it.
I haven't laughed this much in a One Piece chapter since Thriller Bark. It's hilarious!

The whole idea behind Law's plan was to first and foremost screw over Doflamingo. PH an DR are mostly about that, and that is its self-contained story that defines a saga. Lots of additional stuff happened, but it still doesn't change the main plot of those two arc which was Law's revenge against Doflamingo.

Maybe it's just me, but i've always been under the impression that Sunkist haven't really caught up to two-legged Zeff yet. I mean like you said, he was hinted to be a real veteran of the grand line, i mean Mihawk showing up barely phased him.

Same goes for me as well… He still has one feat Sanji is missing. He casually kicked the air hard enough to put fire pearls out... And it would be nice to see Zeff being mentioned. Always wanted to know what the reason for him leaving the GL/NW has been

That i never really questioned. He probably came from that particular blue. I mean once it was established that Shanks, who was in fact a big enough player in the NW for WB to notice, casually left the NW to dick around in East Blue i just lost any reason to question those things.

Well but the difference is Shanks is still a motherfucking Yonkou doing his pirate stuff… While Zeff just left his All Blue dream

I know that Law's goal was to defeat Dofla and just that. But since when has a saga's story proceeded directly into the next one like Dressrosa to Zou? We picked up Law, Kin'emon, Caesar and Momonosuke in PH and took them to Dressrosa. Once there, part of the crew fled and took Caesar along to Zou, which is a direct tie in from DR. We also picked Kanjuurou up and had him tag along. The Straw Hats used Bartolomeo's ship to reach Zou, something possible only following Dressrosa. Then in Zou we meet up with the separated crew and meet another new samurai - Raizo. You can talk about how linked PH and DR are, which is true, but there was no clear break in focus and in the storyline between Dressrosa and Zou. At all. In each arc, we picked up a new samurai, and in each arc, we moved one step closer to Kaidou. And in each arc, we acompanied the fate of Kid and co. It's been a single saga thus far. This kind of continuity is something that happens only inside each saga. After Alabasta, we left Vivi and Carue behind. After Skypiea, it's as if that arc never happened, there was no immediate follow up to that. After Water 7, the entire theme of Robin's history and the fight against the World Government were put behind and a brand new thing emerged with Thriller Bark and by the end of it, we moved on to Sabaody and Moriah's story didn't have a proper impact on what followed. That's not what's been happening since the Straw Hats entered the New World. The last time there was a clear break in themes and focus was when we left behind Fishman Island and moved into the New World. Since then, events have been happening one after another in quick succession and all of them interlinked. This is still the same saga.
Wasn't luffy capable enough to cook meat on a fire? Well I guess he tried to sanji it and… THE DISH was created.
It was all Nami's fault for charging for her cooking. Karma's a pain bitch.
Amazing chapter as always!
But here's some annoying extreme nitpicking as well; do half fishmen and half humans like the fisherman in Loguedown,Dellinger and now Jack lack web between their fingers as opposed to wotans like Big Pan?I would like to ask this to Oda.
Also just noticed that Luffy wears the same winter jacket that he wore at the end of Punk Hazzard!

If we were to follow those "rules" then the whole new world would be just a one big saga, because every arc from now on will most likely bleed into the next one. Dressrosa closed a lot of plotlines that were exclusive to it and Punk Hazard, and it had that sense of closure we always get at the end of a saga. Those two arcs together have a self-contained story, which is enough of a reason to brand them as a saga. It's not as clear as pre-skip, but that is the best we will get in New World, so it's either that, or simply marking the second half of One Piece as one big saga.
! - Bless you Luffy
tl;dr; good chapter right there

We don't really know how it's going to go down in the future. The current saga revolves mainly around Kaidou with a bit of Big Mom. Although other stuff with Blackbeard happens in the background, but that happened pre-TS too. We don't know how things will fit in with Teach and Shanks coming into the story in the future, how the World Government will react… we can't start applying a logic that we're not sure of preemptively. And Fishman Island provided a rather clear break in theme and focus, despite the references to the Reverie and Big Mom. But those tie ins work differently and set up longer term plots, like Ace going after Teach, like the Poneglyph in Skypiea, and so on. I just think we need to wait for things to unfold better to get a clear view of how Oda is organizing the meta-story of the New World before we start throwing classifications around.

Oda would just tell you they have web between their toes or something.

Or maybe they have a web like penis…..like a mast with a sail....oh brain stop!
Jack's situation kinda reminds me of Magenta Magenta in Steel Ball Run.
About the definitions of arcs and sagas I found the error:
Just went to the OP wikia
The OP wikia has shown time and again that they have no fucking clue about story structure. This is the very same wikia that declared Doffy dead back then at around chapter 743. Seriously, just a few chapters ago we got an outline for this current saga. Basically the characters even in-universe acknowledged that this will be one whole saga. (I can't find Zoro's explanation of the situation right now, though, which is a perfect example.) Right now from a storytelling standpoint there's nothing indicating that it would make sense even remotely close to consider this a new saga.

Hahahah exactly! My original comment was because of how stupid the guys at the wikia were to start calling a new saga after today's chapter. It's just ridiculous. I went to the wikia for the good part it has, which is pure data collection, but just saw that crap and decided I had to share it here

These, I assume?

Who's got a photo of the page the three eyed girl first appeared in?
I just found small gills on Jack's neck.
That was on Big Mom's first ever official appearance. How can someone forget that I wonder?

They actually started the new saga with last week's chapter, which is even more stupid.
Since the war against Kaido is going to be huge, maybe that's the scenario for Jimbei joining the SH. And so, Jack vs Jimbei would be the powerful fishmen's battle!
What seems to be established in this chapter is that any possibility of Luffy befriending Big Mom has essentially evaporated given Tagama's comment about Pekoms. Earlier we could assume that Capone was acting on his own accord in casting aside Pekoms, but it seems like it was in mutual agreement with the rest of the crew. Any pirate crew that casts aside crewmates like trash is going to be an antagonist of Luffy's. Sure, Hancock acted in a similar manner initially, but that was essentially just her and the snake sisters and I don't think we'll be going down that same path again.
Did I misunderstand or does Kaido plan to actually let Kidd go and deliver a message to Luffy and Law? No sure if he was being literal there.
Yeah, it is good at data collection, but really terrible at evaluating said data.
@Helter:

I'd say that he's just mocking his once cocky captive
Well, Kid is a guy who thinks he can take on the world without a sweat.
I'd say that he's just mocking his once cocky captive
That is, indeed, more likely. But if by any chance he does let Kidd go, I'd say we just found ourselves another ally in this fight to come. Maybe the StrawHearts themselves will free Kidd later on so he can join the brawl.

She does look kind of uncomfortable to be there actually. Who knows what her issue REALLY is, she is probably being forced into the marriage as well.
I won't dare making any predictions, it could be anything at this point. From next nakama material to ally, to enemy.

So Kaidou vs Kid+Law+Luffy+Apoo+Killer+Hawkins
Maybe not Apoo, if he joined Kaido. He and Hawkins may depend on why he joined
