Again the question to the new clima tact… Magic Wand is interesting... But I still want to know what happened to the wind knot of Weatheria...
weren't those anime only?I mean as a weapon

Usopp probably was able to incorporate it into the weapon like he said, the wand was the only problem, that thing seems pretty bendy.
I just noticed, Nami finally wears some clothes. At least the top half. Her skirt is barely existing.
It was around chapter 600 or 601 when Usopp and Nami reunited and she basically asked him to upgrade her weapons. Around chapter 700 we get a quick panel of Usopp hammering away at something completely unknown and finally chapter 822 we see what it is! The magic wand Usopp talks about will be Nami's trump card in the stickiest of situations.
Reverie! Yabadabadoo!!!! I've been saying for years now that were given way too much foreshadowing for the next reverie to be happening after the crew finds One Piece. After Kaidou gets taken out would be the perfect time for that arc. The revolutionaries will most likely be weakened, an Emperor will be completely out of the equation, 3 of the current 7 War Lords will have been taken care of probably making it easy for Fuji to plead his case and we'll begin to see what could come of Queen Otohime's request to migrate her people!
With Jinbe fully joined by then, the Straw Hats crashing the meeting of the kings will give us a perfect opportunity to revisit guys like Stephy(was that the little punks name? Sabo's adopted brother?), who the king is in Goa kingdom, why the Celestial Dragon was there and specifically for Jinbe, Tiger's fleshed out Mariejois flash back! So exciting!!!!
I've had a feeling for a very very long time now that during the crew's meeting with Vivi this is when Robin will receive her 6th member chapter. For someone so near and dear to most of the crew I bet Robin harbors some guilt about her involvement with the near down fall of Alabasta. Once Robin gives her apology, expect her to start face faulting at least once every arc.
I feel like those "Nami is a lesbian" theories have certainly been gaining traction this arc.
…..What do you mean?
I just googeled Magic Wand -.-
ist that from ODA or just the Translator?
awesome chapter. Really enjoyed the vibe
are pedro and sicilian the new nekomamushi and inurashi of the future?
their interaction surely is giving that vibe!
Again the question to the new clima tact… Magic Wand is interesting... But I still want to know what happened to the wind knot of Weatheria...
Probably one the device Usopp managed to incorporate in the Clima tact, unlike the Magic Wand. And I guess this Magic wand will be some sort of trump card that Nami will use in a future fight, and later in the story, Usopp will manage to include it and make the Ultimate Sorcery Tact.
Again, used as a weapon.. in the anime Nami used them together with the climate take, but in the manga we never saw them being weaponized
Holy shit it's Vivi?!
11/10 best chapter
@le:
Bearious Jones I instantly thought about u when I read this chapter XD
Anyway… the immortal and the princess returns!! Finally the reverie! I am more hyped on this than wano, sth is wrong with me :ninja:
I guess I'll be synonymous with Pedro.
Reverie is a HUGE event. Some really important topics will be discussed…nothing is wrong with you...
Seriously I loved everything about the chapter, but I almost fainted when I saw our sand princess again.
<3

Ah OK… No that's why I ask it
Did the new weapon have a name? I might have missed it if so
What if the Nefertari were simply invited to Sanji's wedding (regardless of one side being a Yonkou subordinate, we all assume the Vinsmoke are in good relations with the WG)?
Did the new weapon have a name? I might have missed it if so
I think it's the same as the last incarnation, sorcery clima tacts
The hype is real (and great), and still, this chapter was great, mainly because of the comedy bits.
Everyone shits themselves when Luffy jumps of a giant elephant into certain death. . .except Zoro, Usopp, Franky and Robin, who are uber chill, knowing they're gonna be ok.
Nami's new weapon, Pedro hinted as someone important, Vivi's appearance, and yeah, Carrot was nowhere to be seen; almost every single Mink with a name or rank made an appearance, except for her. Weird, huh? Wonder if she's already waiting at the Sunny? Or in one of the bags?
Yeah, super excited about mainly everything that's coming up. Reverie? Excited! Whole Cake? Excited! The Vinsmokes? Excited! More minks? Excited! Kaidou? Wano? Marco? Weevil? Yeeess, excited!
Vivi has always been a strawhat it's probably why we never got a third female member because she want meant to be one and before Robin too.
@uniaka:
I'm not sure how much the road from Zou to cake island and back to Wano will last, but Reverie should be before Kaidou's defeat?
I hope Kaido's defeat will be during the reverie. All the world's leaders, including those who like Luffy, as well as WG people who want him dead, getting the news about him taking down a yonko, while together in a meeting that's supposed to lead to some big changes in the world. What better timing is there than that? I want to see all of their shocked faces in one single chapter.
@.access:
What if the Nefertari were simply invited to Sanji's wedding (regardless of one side being a Yonkou subordinate, we all assume the Vinsmoke are in good relations with the WG)?
I thought about that too. Her leaving because of the Reverie seems more likely, but her going to the wedding is a possibility too.
And another thing: Carrot is definitely inside Pedro's backpack.
And yet another thing: that brief dialogue between Zoro, Usopp and Luffy kinda convinced me that Sanji will get married.
Oh and I guess we know now how Zoro is going to cut diamond. He just needs to fight Pekoms and break his shell which is as hard as diamond.
Luffy bungee jumping from Zou, turns out Thousand Sunny is too faraway . all crew passed out and their journey postponed for 3 days because Pekoms is too damaged.
Then it will be truly Sanji solo arc.
I want Carrot to go with them too, but what about after Dressrosa when they were partying on the giant ship and Bellamy wasn't anywhere, then next chapter there was a small flashback of him saying he was leaving?
Probably my favourite part about this chapter is Nami's new weapon because it's cool how Usopp gains new technology throughout his travels and is able to develop new weapons, thus making the crew stronger. I just want the entire crew to be super powerful. The weaker members of the crew really need to be handle themselves. And Frankie talking about making new weapons is also sweet.
@bold: Well, that's a good point, but Bellamy never showed interest in joining them, while Carrot did. (That panel of her saying "it sounds fun" to the plan of going to BM's island) But oh well, I could very well be totally wrong, I'm not trying to imply that it's gonna happen 100% or anything like that.
By the way, an elongating Bo staff in the same chapter we see someone with a turtle shell on his back. DB tribute?

Sometimes you need to curse because it's so good.
Go lie down somewhere before you think of Vivi and the Reverie again.

This is a great summary! This is good stuff. So the journey begins…again.

fans self Will do :D
Really good set-up. I enjoyed the interactions, like stuff with Pekoms and Luffy and the minks, plus Luffy just jumping off the elephant. Nami's new climatact looks to be really nice and it's Reverie time - nice to see Vivi again.
The hype is real, Zou has come to a close, and the reverie is on the way.
Given how things have gone in the past, I think it's safe to assume that for the next arc, we'll be focusing almost exclusively on Luffy's group.
@Helter:

Why do you think Carrot is in Pedro's backpack and not another bag or already on the ship?
Maybe Sanji will marry…just not to Charlotte Purin. Maybe to the 3 eyed girl(3EG)?
@ladyhawke:

If Zoro cuts diamond then they'll be no point in the speculation of Shiryu or Vista eating Jozu's diamond fruit.
But if Zoro can find a way to cut Pekoms shell then kudos to Zoro. But it doesn't really seem like Strawhats will be enemies with Pekoms…as of now.

You must be ecstatic with all the Pedro action.

You must be super happy that Pedro is getting some focus with the promise of more to come. His mysterious and delayed intro might lead to something pretty exciting after all.
Back in like 2010 I theorized that Nami would be able to utilize the useless milky dial that Usopp brought back from Skypiea. I predicted she'd be able to ride around on a cloud like Goku. Of course she came back from her solo adventure and was just able to make the road clouds seemingly just out know how with her old weapon. Now though I was just reminded that Nami is even more like the Monkey King with her size changing staff.
Nami is the Monkey King! There will be a day when she is riding a little cloud like a boss, leading an army of allies behind her!
Good chapter, weird that Vivi of all people is at the end, probably cause Reverie is happening soon, always good!
@Mr.:
The Reverie is near, I can smell it!
Right on the money I will bet the odds of this turning out to be true are extremely high.
You must be ecstatic with all the Pedro action.
It's true. I am.
But I'm trying to be level and cool.
I'm really thinking of doing a "theory" but will probably wait until I get more in manga information.
Just a pointless chapter with no sign of Kaido or the other gazillion humongous plots and world building to be revealed of One Piece and we are almost 70% done. Same old useless and repetitive interactions such as luffy getting ready to climb or to descend yada yada instead of showing us some other important plot points and interaction. No Fights/Important reveals literally boring filler chapter 3/10 would not read again.
Oh booo hooo.
Boo hoo hoo hoo.
No one moved a step.No one gained a new weapon. No character development. No hyping for future arcs. There is no Kaido. No character that I missed so much reappearing. This chapter sucks because no one punched or kicked anyone.
I would say the same thing if it was 20 pages of characters just trading blows and no conversation.
Boo hoo. Boo hoo hoo.
I'm gonna stop pretending to been crying soon.
Boo hoo!
@Helter:

The Reverie is the obvious pick, I agree. My problem with it, though, is that the Reverie will be the occasion to assess and reform the world structure. The fall of a Yonkou will also affect the world structure hardly, though, and the fight between Luffy and Kaidou seems just a few days away.
I think it would be weird from a plot standpoint to have the Reverie and just a while later have the whole Yonkou matter being handled. It would be more logical for Oda to hold the Reverie back until Kaido is dealt with (and whatever comes out from Luffy meeting Big Mom) and handle all of those changes in one move.
what the?! vivi where you going? you want to be a part of straw hat now?
What's the break schedule for planned breaks like goldenweek? I'm sure I could find it somewhere but there'll be some smart person who knows already, and that's what we pay you for.
What? You get paid $0? Then we should double it!
We have about…2 more chapters b4 Goldenweek.
@shanksa:
what the?! vivi where you going? you want to be a part of straw hat now?
Reverie.
Looking for Carrot in the crowd scenes to confirm whether or not she's coming…and finding Pandaman instead! :ninja: (Not on my own computer now, so I don't have the panel, but it's on MS page 17, last panel, directly to the left of Franky.) Really hoping Carrot truly did stow away with the Whole Cake group, I'd love to see more of her.
Also, how did Kin'emon not know what a Transponder Snail (Den-Den Mushi) is? He said "I've heard that you use them," but he's seen and used them himself! He was right there when the group called Doflamingo on one after Punk Hazard, and he even talked on one in Dressrosa, when he and Zoro met up with Luffy and ended up trying to stop Law from being kidnapped.
Great chapter, though. Can't believe we're seeing Vivi again, that's awesome!

Not just from a plot standpoint, but from a world standpoint. Alabasta was about halfway into the Grand Line. They have to sail over a quarter of the world to get to Mariejoa. Even when you don't have to stop at several islands along the way and go in a straight line (as far as that is possible in the Grand Line), it would still take some time before they got there. And that is not even assuming that they will stay a night or two before the Reverie even begins. The royals won't all gather on the day itself, they want to make sure they're comfortably on time.
There is nothing unreasonable about expecting it to take a while before the Reverie begins. I don't think we have to fear it taking place before Kaidou's downfall.
Ohh NAMI.was better than the first set of comments led me to believe. Absolutely brilliant!
Great chapter! I got to say out of all the chapters in Zou this one got me the most hyped. I was laughing the entire time. It is really disappointing that we are not going to be able to see the interactions between the entire crew for awhile now but at least we got to see them for a little while
Pedro is slowly making it up my fav characters list :ninja:

Nice way of stating that, and yeah some ways that's Usopp's 2nd best contribution to the crew (right behind his marksmanship), to create innovative weaponry.
Did the new weapon have a name? I might have missed it if so
IMO, nope. just 'your new clima-tact'. ITs not the same as the previous Sorcery Clima-tact that she's been using since FI.
I think it's the same as the last incarnation, sorcery clima tacts
That wouldn't fit Usopp's pattern of changing the name after creating a new upgrade. And this is certainly different than the Sorcery Clima-tact. That one had 3 sections and was straight and plain (no ornamentation) save for some small holes (one at the top of each section I think) thus looking totally different
They don't really need to be enemies for Zoro to cut Pedro, just a misunderstanding. Remember that cactus island when the SHs first entered the Grand Line? Zoro & Luffy had a disagreement/misunderstanding and fought each other? Zoro have some slashes (likely shallow 'tis a scratch!' as no stiches were ever shown) to Luffy's chest then.
If this translation is to be believed then Cobra is going with Vivi. With the cover story I originally thought Vivi would set out with him. She'll probably do most of the talking. Though I suppose if Robin wants to set things straight with her misdeeds she'll need to talk to Cobra as well.
We've seen the Reverie before but now boy be it good or bad the Straw Hat influence will be really significant.
On the side that will ultimately be a positive for the Straw Hats even if the following kingdoms/world leaders can't outright admit it:
-Vivi with Alabasta
-Dalton at Sakura
-Elizabello from Prodence(?)
-Riku of Dressrosa
-The Neptunes of Fishman Island
-That random King saved by Usopp at Dressrosa
-Ice Berg if he counts
Then you've got guys like Wapol on the other end. Despite probably getting a better life he probably still holds a grudge. In like 4 years time, seeing all these people together with the promise of Fujitora in attendance will be amazing!
What a great chapter!
One of the very best of the Zou arc, IMO

Well, that's how Nami called them.. you can call. it perfect sorcery clima tact if you prefer, a mix between the perfect clima takts and the sorcery clima tact if you really want another name
