I'm digging that song for some reason.

Here is the Preview (HD version) for upcoming Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 4 Diamond is Unbreakable animation:
Wow, I really liked when they speed up the silhouettes of the main characters of this part. So far the voices fits nicely, can't wait for Kira's voice.
They better not change his being Rikiya Koyama, I love him as Kira so much…
Yeah, the new Josuke VA is garbage compared to Wataru, imo. They really shouldn't have changed it.
I think there's probably some contract issues that leads them to changing seyuus? I doubt it's because they just wanted to switch.
Not really feeling Josuke's VA just yet, but we'll see after I get more lines out of him.
Just the two lines we got of Wataru Takagi back as Okuyasu made me smile so much tho. He's such a perfect Okuyasu it's not even funny.
Also, I really love the animation style even more now that we have it in color. Morio looks PERFECT! The style is VERY Araki, and I'm glad it looks like the simpler character designs DO mean better animation. Plus, it definitely looks like a good medium between Early P4 and late P4. I like Josuke's proportions for example.
I also ADORE The effects given to Crazy Diamond. The way it materializes and disappears is gorgeous.
Hype levels raised successfully. Good job DavidPro.
The highlights where light should hit? Seems fine to me. Also frim the images above I can still see it.
Lighting is important but in JoJo the characters just end up looking greasy and plastic. Like this:
And it's still there but to a much lesser extent and the overall coloring feels more natural.
Is it weird I dig this style more than the other parts?
On a different note, the hype is real. I liked how the teaser really showcased the ability of Josuke's stand, and I look forward to enjoying this part again.
PV now with subtitles. I seriously hope there is a Duwang fansub group with hilariously translated dialogue.
Also, while I LOVE Hatano as Josuke, I'm actually digging Ono's voice. It's not as deep, but still has that little bit of a growl that I love. Plus, he definitely sounds 16. But GOD I just adore Takagi's Okuyasu, I don't think I could forgive them for changing his. Koichi doesn't sound too bad either!
God I've watched this trailer so much, I'm loving the 90's aesthetic!
Even though I loved Josuke's previous VA, I must admit that the new one is growing on me. It still SOUNDS like Josuke, the inflections were good, the "Doraoraoraoraora" was great, but overall it sounds more like the way a 16 year old would sound.
And as I said even before the better quality video, that new OST is fucking amazing. I hope that the rest of the OST is that good.
Not to say that SC's soundtrack was bad, it's awesome, but compared to the previous two it kinda fell flat. Hopefully this will be the "bounce back".
Chapter 49 cover:
!
If a Rainbow song isn't used for the next stand I'm getting mixed signals from the covers.

So eyes of heaven is out and no Foo Fighters :(. Is there any reviews or anything? How is it doing cause it is coming westward.
It all started with the flying fish…

An excellent chapter of Jojolion.
Norisuke's suffering is still enjoyable.
The boyfriend's hair reminds me of Donald Trump - was that intentional?
Is that??? It's KILLER QUEEN!!!!
Looks like Jojolion is being Jojolion again.
"It begins with the flying fish"
Stand makes people soft, but also makes Norisuke sprout weird things
Yoshikage Kira is pissed off at people not choosing between sea and land.
Josuke's hair….
It doesn't, that was just the fizzle of the fizzly drink (Chapmaigne?) poping inside his soft brain.
The dude is an evil Spice Girl.
Is that??? It's KILLER QUEEN!!!!
Yeah, it is the second time it appears in this manga btw.
@Ordinary:
Josuke's hair….
What the fuck do you want to say about his hair?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also I don't wanna say this Kira is better than previous Kira or otherwise, but just say they are memorable and enjoyable in their own character. 2 beautiful duwangs.
i wonder how Josuke would react if someone told him his hair was super hot and turned that person on lol.
"What did you just say about mah hair, sugar lips?" or what?
Stand makes people soft, but also makes Norisuke sprout weird things
Those were the bubbles pushing through skull and everything lol.
I am okay with Araki referencing more Krautrock. This I can assure you.

This is my Stand - 「Richard Wahnfried」!
The kid eating Ramen, did he remove pepper from the dish? It's very similar to Josuke's stand ability.
The kid eating Ramen, did he remove pepper from the dish? It's very similar to Josuke's stand ability.
That is correct. Current Josuke's Soft & Wet is said to combine the abilities of both original Kira's and original Josefumi's Stands. As we can see from this chapter, Kira's stand creates bubbles while Josefumi's removes items and transfers them elsewhere.
Well, guess which stand I was very content to see this chapter haha.
Getting more information on Kira is always nice.
I absolutely love how creepy everything got with Vitamin C's ability in use and it's design too. The last panel with Hato and it's head on the wall behind was something.
The kid eating Ramen, did he remove pepper from the dish? It's very similar to Josuke's stand ability.
Just to add to Bond´s explanation, here´s the first picture of part 8´s KQueen, where it´s explained that it blows things using bubbles:
You can see the bubbles just floating around and exploding stuff. S&W is the combination of Josefumi´s and Kira´s.

It´s hard to make that comparison since they both assume two different roles in their respective parts, but damn, Kira´s chapters in JJlion are friggin amazing. I´m really loving this dude.
The callback to the surfer dude was funny and intimidating at the same time. I can see why he would be traumatised.
Marathoned part 7,8 and 5(skipped it for some reason).Gotta say,7 was pretty amazing, didn't even notice that it was longer than most parts.
I like the feel and atmosphere of part 8.
Giorno was not interesting to me,he's kinda bland IMO but the cast made up for it.Was nice to see Polnareff once again, makes me wonder why he didn't tell Jotaro about Diavolo,or if he did why didn't Jotaro do more about that.Well, maybe I missed if he told him,I remember that Jotaro wanted to investigate only about Giorno.
I want to re-read part Duwang, but it seems that it's removed from batoto. Can someone tell me where I can find the Invincible Trio (not sure if that is their name) scans to read **online.**Or do I have to download it?
Invincible Trio is on Batoto. I'm sure that some cheapass manga reader online like mangapanda or whatever will have duwang
Abbachio is my favorite Vento Aureo character. Just felt like throwing that out there.
Is there any reason we know that the stand's name comes from a song by the band Can, instead of the artist named Vitamin C?
Is there any reason we know that the stand's name comes from a song by the band Can, instead of the artist named Vitamin C?
Vitamin C is one of Can's more well-known songs, also Can is a well-known band among the right circles.
I am at the end of part 6 and boy, I didn't like any of those 3 sons of DIO, Ungalo is the least worst, he is just a worthless guy with a awesome power. But Rikiel and Donatello… I feel sorry for Pucci, he had to endure both of them.
Also, I am eager to see Made in Heaven, just like I was in part V to see Silver Chariot Requiem.
@Cyan:

I was just wondering if he had stated it specifically in some author's note or something, would be interesting to read.
I finally finished part 6, and I have a good quantity of questions.

LOVED the fight with Emporio and Pucci, the climax part in Cape Canaveral was great. Only at the end that I started to like Pucci as a villain, not as a minion of DIO. But still he was a great antagonist, I will give him a 7/10 in my villain meter.[/hide]
I can't wait for part 7.

- In the Weather Report flashback, why that guy from the KKK made a deal with the Pucci ?
- Pucci was the one who killed Emporio's mother ?
- Regardless of a new universe, there will always be a Joestar family ? Because when Emporio was in the new "earth" he found "Jolyne" and "Jotaro".
- How Pucci knew that things would happen in the same way in the new universe ?
- In the end, did Pucci wanted to follow his desires or DIO's desires ? I am talking about the "happiness" he wanted people to experience.
- How Emporio still had the Weather Report disk if Whitesnake no longer existed ?
- Pucci can only speed up time in Cape Canaveral ? Or he has to wait for Made in Heaven to exist ?
- The fact that Enrico was killed inside Emporio's stand influenced at any point in part 7 ?
- And please can someone explain me the end of Part 6 Where is Emporio ?

Well. Let me answer as many of these as I can.
[hide]
"In the end, did Pucci wanted to follow his desires or DIO's desires ? I am talking about the "happiness" he wanted people to experience."
I'd say his own desires that he formulated after philosophizing with Dio.
"Pucci can only speed up time in Cape Canaveral ? Or he has to wait for Made in Heaven to exist ?"
Pucci had to go to Cape Canaveral as it was the only place where Made in Heaven could be "born"; now that he has MiH, he can be anywhere he wants and speed up time.
"In the Weather Report flashback, why that guy from the KKK made a deal with the Pucci?"
To be perfectly honest, I don't know. If what set him off was seeing the "white son of a black man" dating a white girl, then why in the hell did he take the job from an actual black guy?
"The fact that Enrico was killed inside Emporio's stand influenced at any point in part 7 ?"
No.
"And please can someone explain me the end of Part 6 Where is Emporio ?"
Within the newly created "SBR-verse" that SBR and Jojolion take place in. Presumably at around the same equulivent time and place he was in within the former universe.
"Regardless of a new universe, there will always be a Joestar family ? Because when Emporio was in the new "earth" he found "Jolyne" and "Jotaro"."
Yes. The new "SBR-verse" takes all the previous elements of the previous universe, just mixed up and slightly different. Like a different shade of the same color, if the analogy makes sense to you.

Glad to see you enjoyed Pucci. He ranks at #3 of my favorite Jojo villains, #1 belonging to Kira and #2 belonging to the main baddie of part 7 (who nearly ties at #1!).
Trust me. You're going to LOVE Steel Ball Run. Prepare yourself for artshifts, MUCH longer chapters, allusions to previous parts, and perhaps the absolute best damn Jojo-bro in the entire series.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Two things I will add upon after re-reading Jojoilion uninterrupted until the current chapter.
[hide]
1. Knowing Akari, how many things have changed about the original idea for the story since the beginning? After all, this is Akari we're talking about. The same guy who decided to change DIO's stand about halfway through Stardust Crusaders, the arrow gaffe in early part V, and outright dropped the blatantly obvious time traveling Joskue hair inspiration subplot in DiU.
Not saying it's a bad thing, but with a part that is taking this long to write, and who's story revolves around an intricate mystery, just HOW many things will (or have already) be changed, retconned, or just straight up forgotten about?
2. I've really taken a liking to Yasuho. Not only do I find her absolutely adorable but she's competent, has a cool stand ability, fun to read with, and actually very relateable.
Also, is it just me or does Yasuho take more than just a liking to Gappy? Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but is she developing feelings for him?

Thanks for answering my questions !!
[hide]For me, only when Pucci had MiH that he was decent villain, maybe because he was confident in his power, the he could go all out. Also, when Emporio used Weathers's disc, that was just Weather Report or Heavy Weather as well ?[/hide]

I really can't say.
And for me, Pucci really started out just "Meh" for me, but as he went along he got better. From when he left the prison until he was defeated was his prime. "C-Moon" and "Made in Heaven" Pucci was the best though.
Just curious, by means of association do you know who the main bad guy of part 7 is? If not, you're gonna be in for a ride!
I never got to like Pucci. Don't know why, but he falls with Kars into the "meh" group with me. Even Diavolo, who I hated at first, I managed to like once I reread his part (he actually became my favorite character from part V), but Pucci and Kars remained like that regardless of how many times I read their parts (and, man, I read Part II a good ten times by now).
There's only a few end of part villains that I have found interesting (at least from my first read through). Dio in part 1 and 3 were good, and Kira from part 4. Kars was uninteresting compared to the one which Joseph fought on the carriages. Part 5 I don't even remember that well except his weird motivation. Pucci had potential but I remember that part more because Jolyne was awesome as well as some of the others. Part 7 the final one was less interesting than the one I thought it would be. Can't say about this current part because we don't know who end game person is.
Overall, the final bosses are like any of the other fights, they are hit or miss but when they are misses we have to deal with them much longer than the others. On the other hand, the fights are still overall good even if the character is lacking there.

That's neither confirmed nor, imho, plausible, actually. While it's of course debatable (and debated) i don't think that the "SBRverse is Ireneverse" theory holds up to what we've seen in Sbr and jojolion. I mean, provided that Emporio fucked up Pucci's scheme quite a lot, but ti say that Dio's century-long-thought master plan and its overcomplicated implementation by Pucci was to create a universe where
[hide] Johnatan is a cynical and ruthless blondie and Dio himself turns in a dinosaur instead of a vampire…[/hide]
… wait, i take it all back. It makes plenty of sense actually...
Jokes aside, i'm convinced that from sbr on jojo rebooted, didn't continue (also, Irene doesn't fit in the new universe genealogy).
[/hide]
Also,
the blatantly obvious time traveling Joskue hair inspiration subplot in DiU.
Is another fan-favourite but after all shaky assumption (mine too when i first read part4). The only thing we saw was the idealized image of a guy with a pompadour seen from feverish 4-y-o Josuke. The fact that he was badly beaten maybe was only to remark him being a thug. What i mean is, that episode unlike others you said and many others out there, doesn't contradict anything and doesn't leave unsolved threads… it explains the pompadour and why Josuke treasures it. It would have been cool, nonetheless, but jojo is filled with similar flashbacks (Giorno's too).

Yeah, Kars was completely overshadowed by Wham. Not only there was a rivalry established between Joseph and Wham as soon as they met, there was the whole thing with Caesar that fueled it up. Wham was also waaaaay more charismatic than Kars, so while Kars was the final villain in Part II simply because he was the leader of the group, Wham fit the "main antagonist" role much better. In a way, Kars was the Spandam while Wham was Lucci (except in this case the boss lived up to the "power level" you would expect from his position).
On the topic of SBR I have to say that the fight against Funny Valentine was perhaps the best final villain Jojo fight, as well as the best finisher to it.
[hide]
The reason was because of the pure HYPE behind it and perfect buildup.
The absolutely devastating death of Gyro (which was perfectly timed) with Valentine basically invincible gave it a feeling of absolute hopelessness, but "Lesson 5" not only gave a reasonable way to defeat Valentine, but also served as the last bit of help from the late Gyro. Kind of like how it worked with Cesar's headband or Kakyoin's dying emerald splash; but I'd argue it was done better.
From the panel that "Act 4" appears, the sequence is incredible. Johnny has not only unlocked one of the most OP stands in the entirety of Jojo (not stupidly broken like GER was) but Valentine actually starts freaking out about it. The "ORA" barrage fits the situation perfectly, beating the tar out of Valentine in addition to a callback to the former universe in such a direct and meaningful way.
Valentine's flashback and final bid to Johnny to end the rotation firmly cements his status as an Anti-Villain.
And with Valentine's final death, we get the spiritual "goodbye" from Gyro to Johnny. The most beautifully done, perfectly executed, and absolutely heart breaking in all of Jojo. It's sentimentality echoed in Johnny's last words, the last words in all of part 7; "Let's go home…".
In a nutshell

I can't wait for part 7.
I´ll try to answer some I might know. Some of my views may diverge from Greato, since the final part of part 6 is such a f*** up
>! Pucci was the one who killed Emporio's mother ?
! No. Not that I recall.
Regardless of a new universe, there will always be a Joestar family ? Because when Emporio was in the new "earth" he found "Jolyne" and "Jotaro". and How Pucci knew that things would happen in the same way in the new universe ?
These two can be answered in the same sentence.
! The new Universe will follow very closely the previous one.
MiH is based on a scientific theory in which, after the big bang the universe will expand. But it can´t keep expanding forever, and it will reach a limit in which it will get smaller.
It will reach a point where the the universe will end. The "Singularity point". After that, a new Big Bang will happen, and the universe will expand again, in a similar/equal way.
! In that spread that explain this theory, there´s a sentence like "Some think humans can shape their own destiny, but perhaps it is already predestined/decided". This means that the explosion will give similar consequences, create the same planets, lifeforms, at the same time it happened before. So, the universe is on repeat.
! Then comes the "Pucci factor".
MiH causes a "migration of souls" that is also explained in that spread. And these souls will end up in the same place where they previously were. This causes the people to feel like they´ve made those steps before and "know" the future of their actions.
! So, Jonathan Joestar will fight Dio, so will Joseph, Josuke will live his adventures and etc etc.
Now you ask, "well, shouldn´t Jolyne be dead then? And Jotaro? Hermes? Anasui?". They would IF Pucci made a full circle around the universe. Which he didn´t. He stopped some days before to eliminate Emporio. Jolyne would be dead if Pucci reached the same moment when he started MiH, at Cape C.
So they live, a slightly different life because Pucci fucked up, and therefore, from the point he died, no one can knowtheir future any longer.
In the end, did Pucci wanted to follow his desires or DIO's desires ? I am talking about the "happiness" he wanted people to experience.
! His. Knowing the future is his definition of happiness because of the drama that struck his family.
In the Weather Report flashback, why that guy from the KKK made a deal with the Pucci ?
! Don´t remember very well. Probably money.
And then he got pissed off when he saw the interracial relation between WR and sister.
How Emporio still had the Weather Report disk if Whitesnake no longer existed ?
! MiH is C-Moon´s evolution, which is a fusion between White Snake and Green Baby. So White Snake parcially exists.
Pucci can only speed up time in Cape Canaveral ? Or he has to wait for Made in Heaven to exist ?
! Because of the aligment of the Moon, Cape Carveral was the only place where C-Moon could evolve to MiH. After that, he could activate it anywhere.
The fact that Enrico was killed inside Emporio's stand influenced at any point in part 7 ?
! No, but I don´t consider the SBR Universe a consequence of Pucci´s actions.
And please can someone explain me the end of Part 6 Where is Emporio ?
! In the same place he was at that date in the previous universe, but because Pucci´s fucked up, the universe changed.
The place he is has the same name as the prison, "Green Dolphin", so either the prison stopped existin, or it´s nearby.
Edit: Here is the spread
!
Just curious, by means of association do you know who the main bad guy of part 7 is? If not, you're gonna be in for a ride!
I only know his name, his stand and his occupation. If you are talking about Funny Valentine
Also, thanks SpaceCowboy, I was really having doubts with those questions. ;)
[hide]One thing I liked in the end was that the one who beat Pucci was Weather Report stand (well, in Emprio's body).[/hide]
