This Robin would have been great without those arms line, they didn't have to do it, this is why i didn't bought her, that ruins the whole thing to me, if only she was wearing a top that hide those lines…

Anyone know what this Nami is exactly? I was looking through Hobby Search's blogs on Wonderfest and seen her. Another Nami release in VAH? Can't remember if I have seen this one before.

Late May will be release Variable Action Heroes ONE PIECE Nami ver. Punk hazard No official word from Megahouse yet though.

@Ra:
Hmm the figure is nice aside from the arm socket seams. At least her face looks decent?
Her face is nice yes, its just all the seams on her arms are rough/visible and she has red paint from her shoes dotted on her left leg in a couple very obvious spots. Just low on the quality scale.

I received few prize figures today, one of them is Ace King of Artist and Zoro Sculture punk hazard!
! ![](http://i389.photobucket.com/albums/oo335/Hibari_kyoya69/2016-02-13 11.09.05.jpg)
Zoro is a deception, i really thought he would looks nice in reality but he is just flat, there is no shading which makes his color plain and it doesnt look nice at all, too bad since the pose is nice, the face was also cool but the whole painting process just ruin the whole thing…(the picture is giving him justice with lighting and all but in reality he is so brown...)
![](http://i389.photobucket.com/albums/oo335/Hibari_kyoya69/2016-02-13 11.09.13.jpg)
! Ace in other term is a bit too orange but the sculpt is awesome and it doesn't bother me at all! -
This month there is any POP preorder, when will we get the upcoming preorder date, is there a place to check?

There's something I've wanted to get for years, a Sogeking mask that I think was sold at the Mugiwara Store years ago. It's not the Real Mask Project one from Plex, but a 'cheaper' plastic one that you could wear. I usually check Yahoo Auctions to see if it pops up and it never does but today… http://page24.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/q105548854
That's the one I'm talking about. The problem is… It's too expensive (I think the original price was like 1500 yen) but it seems it's a very rare item... I don't know what to do, I don't want to spend much money (considering I should pay the proxy, the shipping) for a plastic mask...
I think I never asked here so I wanted to know if someone knew about this item and if there's other places where I could search. I think good old crease sold it at his website at one point.

Hey guys, I've only very recently got into One Piece collectibles.
Going for some of my favourite characters for the time being, but I've hit a wall with finding some Mr. 3 merchandise. Has he got anything at all out there aside from the miniatures? Thought I'd ask the more knowledgable here.

Hey there!
Mr. 3 is a very rare character, there aren't many figures of him out there, the best one is the WCF from Impel Down, still a miniature.
Here's a website where you can look for figures and merchandise: MyFigureCollection. It's updated very often, so it's rare to find something that's not listed there.
And here you can find all Galdino's figures. The only chance I see is that he gets some love in the next Colosseum set (they've made the ones like Cindry, Pauly…)
PS: Quite difficult to find a link using this text colour

Thanks a lot for the help!
There appears to be one (very blurry) Mr. 3 figurarts released…I guess I just have to sit tight until he shows up somewhere. I've definitely seen the Yasopp in that same shot around so fingers crossed it's only a matter of time. The problem with having such obscure favourites I guess.

That Figuarts model was shown at an expo years ago, but it never got released, so it won't be showing up anywhere, sadly.

got my Big Boob/Big bust/Bathing Beauty/Bouncy Bouncy/Black Beard or whatever its called Nico Robin. She's a lot nicer in person. Expect a video up in the next few days
-
So did anyone buy that fancy Styling set from Dressrosa of Nami, Robin and Rebecca? Seems a bit expensive, would be around $20 per figure for me. I forget what that special line was that had ones redone with metallic paint and all but those weren't worth it in my opinion. I'm guessing the scale and everything is the same just exclusive to this set?

lol….wasn't it bikini babe? but bathing beauty does sound better.
-
So I went to Ebay in order to search for the Urouge WCF, and I saw that he now has not only one, but two Colosseum figures. YESSSS! I've been waiting years for a good Urouge figure, I'm really happy!

I did! Haven't received them yet obviously. I agree they are quite expensive, I paid about $35 for a box of 3 shipped from AmiAmi though, so it's not quite "20 per figure". They wanted 11k yen for box of 8 (used to be 5k for the box of 10, YIKES, more than double the price…).
The last regular box of 10 went for 6.5k yen though, so I am really not sure if this sudden price jump is for the 'special' 3-way sets or applies to everything from now on.Stylings are usually crap when it comes to quality, but at least they have normal sculpts and good proportions... They look realistically sexy which is so much better than all recent POP nightmares.

I vote for "version Black Beard"

GOLD incoming. Finally another line from Banpresto that does the full crew. Last was 15th anniversary?
Looks like Nami is Set 1 and Robin is set 2 for the girls so assuming they're doing alternate coloured versions again?I hope they did the other costumes (the white one). They look sexier on that one.

UGH. Is Banpresto making Brook way too short again? WHY?
-
Its time for the black version of Jeans Freak Robin, since I ended up getting it locally. Its just as nice as the red version. Also did a Keith Goodman figure from Tiger and Bunny to kill two birds with one stone. B.B Robin and V.A.H Nami will come soon!
-
POP Luffy "Kabuki Edition" promo poster. Pre-order opens March 1st and would be released this coming July. It's at 16.8k yen though. A bit overpriced for a figure that has zero accessories whatsoever, IMO.
[hide] I guess the extra price is for the base. Looks nice.
[/hide] -
That is quite expensive! Even for a limited edition P.O.P. Would really like to get this version of Luffy though, he closely resembles his manga incarnation not to mention the details are exquisite.
I'm probably going to order one or both of the Nami or Robin Ichiban Kuji kimono figures. Will post pictures when they arrive.
Edit: Ahhh I got both. My wallet is crying, but it was worth it T__T
-
oh the IK girls are out? I'll have to have a look for them.
-
Ive seen them on a number of sites, seem to be averaging Nami for 10-14k yen depending if its last chance one or regular and Robin seems to be within the same range. They look great.
-
Hi guys
About the new ichiban kuji line with nami and robin kimono style i want to give you a suggestion.
The prices on ebay and regular sites are crazy high. I've bought both of them using a proxy service and it is way more convenient.
I've looked on yahoo auction japan where, if you are lucky, you can find (regular) nami for around 5000 Yen and Robin for 6800-7000.I've used the proxy service of Jfigure.com. They are very friendy and they ask 500 Yen plus the 10% of the final price of the items (shipping not included).
In total for both the figures and shipping i've spent 150 Euros, compared to the 120 Euros many sites asks for a single figure
hope this will help :) -

I think I'd be lost in this hobby without Hiromi heh. But I must say lately he's been feeding my tsum tsum obsession more than anything else.

Had no idea what tsum tsum was. Googled it. That looks like a dangerous territory financially speaking. I love them.
-
Hmmmm….so Raizo of the Mist.....Is it just me or is Oda really trolling us with his character designs recently. I mean it started with Ivankov, but since the new world we've had Big Mom and her crew, Trebol (and many of the other Doflamingo pirates), Kanjuro, Edward Weevil and now Raizo.
Compared to the more serious characters such as Warlords, Admirals, Supernovas, etc. these new designs really don't lend themselves to figure creation. I mean don't get me wrong, it is entertaining from a story perspective, but I wouldn't want to own figures of any of these characters.
Atleast we've still got the archetypal antagonists like Jack and Kaido. Hopefully they will see some decent figures!!
-
I can confirm that at no point were Megahouse looking at the new chars and thinking of merch.
They didn't even get past the Colourspread before planning.
-

Heh, they are a hit with my girls and I have a soft spot for cutesy stuff….mix Disney in there and I'm toast.
The Luffy Kabuki POP looks decent I guess....don't know if I'll buy it for the $$. I've bought every POP regardless of how I feel about them but I think the sex change stuff could be the straw that broke the camel's back. It's a shame since I've been collecting them for so long with a hope that once in awhile they'd do right by the fans that stuck by them. Next time I drop by Japan I'm heading over to their corporate offices to give them a piece of my mind.
-
So finally did a video from the B.B Robin. pretty much confirming to myself that this will be the last P.O.P I'll be buying and…..honestly. really not happy with that being the case. Nothing wrong with the figure even if it is a little extreme just the fact it came broken.
Fortunately I managed to fix her but kinda unsure if I should pursue some kind of partial refund on her due to the damage? Even now some pieces of the hair have snapped off and she has a visible snap line on the hand. Probably won't but would love to hear you guys opinion.

What I'm wondering about: They prolly just do what they think is financially the best decision, right? I mean, I know about "otaku" culture and stuff - but I always considered OP merchandise to be something that had a wide range of customers. What made them think focusing on cliché-large-boob-figurines would be a good strategy, especially when considering the international market. I feel like they don't know their audience. All they do is jump on hypetrains. How many Laws did we get? It's time to focus on something more profound and maybe it's also time to realize that One Piece might not be as popular as it used to be.
On a different note:
Anyone else pre-ordered Whitebeard from Tsume? Personally can't wait for him, looks promising to me. He sold out pretty quick.
-
@ cyber, get a partial refund or replacement. That's a bummer, you're absolutely right….a bit too much $$ to be accepting these kind of shotty craftmanship sigh.
@ Inishi, yeah I really dunno what's going on these days @ Megahouse. It almost seems like straight trolling the last couple months and I laughed along until I saw the sex change stuff.....seriously.....come on. Whitebeard seems pretty exciting, although I'll probably sell mine as I've sold off all my Tsume statues to pursue other hobbies. You've always had a thing for Newgate, I think you'll love it...the statue is huge.

And I am so grateful you sold your Tsume statues, Sensui. I've got your Sakura on top of my desk, and I appreciate her every day. :D

No problemo! It was my pleasure to work with an apf guy especially since I knew it was going to a good home. Enjoy the statue in good health MaxGoof.

it depends where you buy: NY never refund me my broken leg SA Franky.

Received Ichiban Kuji Koala, paid about $20 Canadian total and couldn't pass on a IK figure at that price. She is pretty meh though, her face has no emotion just a blank wide eyed stare and she is doing that whole unnatural hip twist pose. One thing I do find entertaining about it is she has the smallest breasts of any One Piece figure I have bought in a long time. Just found that funny/interesting. Not bad but not great either.

@cyber-robin: Wow, I'm sorry yours broke like that. That is…really odd I've never had a P.O.P. do that unless I was super clumsy and broke something I was fiddling with.
My Ichiban Kuji Kimono Robin and Nami figures came in fairly quickly! I was surprised, though I did pay quite a bit for them (probably unnecessarily but oh well. I felt like splurging.)
Again sorry for crappy phone pics!
The boxes themselves are really quite beautiful and even the texture is different from most. The drape of the fabric is nice even though it is super stylized. The prints are pretty too. Probably some of the nicest figures of them I've seen in a while, especially since they aren't part of their "original" outfits. Very much worth it to me.
!
Nami
!
Robin
!
Robin had a slight marking above her eyebrow and on her right shoulder (not shown) but I think it can be cleaned off. Sorry these pics were taken at night, should have done it under natural lighting, but I got home late last night from work and just kinda went to town! XD
@Danmatrix: That Koala figure sculpt is great for the price you paid!
-
Thanks for sharing. Those IKs dun look half bad. I think they're eons better than the recent BB POPs by far.
-
wow robin and nami kimono style looks very beautiful! i cant wait for mines to arrive :)
can i ask how much you paid for them both? -

can i ask how much you paid for them both?I payed $100 usd each, not including shipping. Yeah I know. >.< But if you are into Nami and Robin, I feel like they are worth it. There may be more later since these were early raffles, so it's possible the price may go down, but I'm not sure. Actually I think there may be cheaper ones on ebay. The Japanese sellers are pretty reliable, never had any problems with them.

I see ^^ I was luckyer with the total price for both figures, even if both are a bit overpriced (but well, it's the destiny of most ichiban kuji figures).
Thanks for posting images, i couldn't find them anywhere  -
I picked up CreatorxCreator Nami quite recently. She's pretty nice. Not too keen on the pose tho. She was cheap so can't complain XD

They both look amazing for prize figures O_O Any chance you could post size comparizon pics against any POP or 1/8th scale? Would really appreciate it.

Oh my god, I must own all of those white Film Gold WCFs!
Are the Grandline Men going to be only the black outfits? The white ones are way cooler.

Informal Request ONE PIECE. I think it was based on something Oda did a little while back when he was asked to draw SN and WL genderswapped.

I.R.O = Is Rip Off.
That it totally and certainly what it means ;)

Thank you! She's smaller than I expected unless her POP counterpart is bigger than one's usual 1/8th figure, still a great fig for a prize
