It's here. Looks like there is a break next week, though.

Wow, that was like a stealth bomber. Thanks, Evo.
Yay! Thanks, man!
woooooooo perfect timing b/c it's the first time I check in the last 10 minutes if it was up!
With Inuarashi being able to stop Jack's attack just like that and Nekomamushi throwing him, I am very hesitant to believe Jack's bounty being true. I know that bounties do not really reflect strength, but still.
On the topic of the battle in general, I do not necessarily have a problem with the Minks having the upper hand over Jack's men, as I believe some people did last week. In my opinion it only goes to show just how dangerous the New World is, even for a Yonkou's crew. Still, Jack should be able to shrug this off easy and make a comeback, even before using the weapon.
hmmmm i hope jack's behavior means that the minks won't hold it against the ninja for the destruction. Jack was going to do what he wanted anyway.

yea, we didn't get an "official" text book with the bounty did we?
I think Pedro was there.
and another break. lol. last one was three chapters ago…
I'm guessing we will see the full reveal of Jack after the break. Also it seems SMILE users can make any part of their animal forms into their limbs, head included. Freaky.

We were following this pattern by a while.
Btw Christmas break is coming right?
Not surprised by the break in the least bit.
But man is Jack hype!

Really you think that? The last panel is showing us Jack going serious. This guy im sure he's stronger in his human/mammoth form than total mammoth.
oh wow. Unless there is some kind of secret part of the tribe we may have just seen all the front runners of the minks. Like, we have duke inu, his 3 musketters and their squad and then duke neko with his guardians, some of which we saw hinted at previously like pedro who is obviously the lion guy then. I did not see the bull or gorilla anyway though.
Ohhhhh! Aweseome!
Nekomamushi and his design are crazy. Love it.
For once Luffy got ignored as he was telling a story
And the duke looking at Brook was gold too.
On the other hand the other two musketeers hardly look as cool as Sicilion.
Also Jack's bounty is disgusting. Come on, he can't be this far away from Pekomsama.

I said a few things in my post so could you be more specific than just asking me if I "think that"? Not sure what "that" is or what the second part of your post refers to.
I also said that Jack was about to get serious. He probably wasn't even trying at first and just let himself get pissed. I can't judge yet on what his strongest form is; I feel like hybrid forms have traditionally always been the most effective form for fighting. The full mammoth form is probably best for rampaging, but now he's going into a mode where he can fight better.
Not sure, when I say it like this my initial doubt regarding his bounty start to fade a bit. Anyways, I'm not sure yet what to think of the bounty in general; I guess the shock is just making me look for something that enables me to doubt it, lol. I will just wait and see how Oda handles this. I'm sure he has something in store.
ok this was a very good chapter of one piece. Love neko and inu, crazy strong, plus awesome designs
Those musketeers don't live up to their name. Why any of they are carrying a musket?
finally jack back to human form next chapter will see him
So SMILE users are set apart by two horns on their heads and a tattoo on their (left) elbow or forearm?
Far more interesting chapter than the previous.
Also how has no one commented about the color spread? It was incredible. Robin & Brook have rarely ever looked cooler to my knowledge. The dancing colors on Brook are also particularly eye-capturing.
But yeah, far superior chapter to the previous. The 1 billion bounty is the first of its kind, and it's been a fan desire for a long time to actually see a bounty that is set at a billion. Now they've finally got to see it. Loved the concept of night and day, loved Luffy's story being interrupted instead of the opposite, loved Nekomamushi's design.
Brook is looking like Jimmi Hendrix there.
It seems Pedro is one of the middle, that were showed with Nekomamushi..
Also… the fight between Dukes is the main reason why they sleep 6 to 6... or there is another reason??, because it just seems strange that all Minks of one side fell slept at same time

Its one of those weird things that only makes sense in One Piece that Oda likes to put.
Now what is the deal of Nekomumashi putting his hand on his crotch?
I think bounties would have something to do with how dangerous they are in general. As Jack puts it, he loves destruction and would rather run rampage as opposed to listening to reason. Big Mom's crew at least could see value in negotiating and making deals so as not to destroy (even if Big Mom herself was hesitant).
I would say his Billion bounty has as much to do with him destroying everything he comes across like a drought than just his pure strength. The same way Captain Kid had a higher bounty than Luffy, he caused more destruction on his way and thus the Navy would put a higher bounty on him to try get him taken out.
Thought I have no doubt that Jack will make a come back next chapter and be shown to be more powerful.
I love this chapter but it is infuriating that it is taking its sweet time to show what happened. Damn you Oda sensei and your damn world building. :P
I really like the cat lords design. Looks a little bit like the mad King Tom from Ni No Kuni :P
Bobbin from Big Mom's crew probably has a similar bounty. Somewhere in the 1 billion to 1.3 billion range. That mfer looks like he gives no shits either, and he should have AT LEAST an 800 million bounty for being just, so…plain creepy.
Something just ain't right with that guy...
Btw… i need that razor... and Wanda in musketeer mode is cool
Oda deserves that break, this arc has been very enjoyable so far.
"Its not like I wanted to have an one billion beli bounty or anything."
Jack is so tsundere.:ninja:
Robin looking fine as ever
Big Mom's crew at least could see value in negotiating and making deals so as not to destroy (even if Big Mom herself was hesitant).
When did Big Mom negotiate? She had the island with cakes burned down because they couldn't provide their quota for the month. She was about to do the same to Fishman Island, yelling at Tamago for suggesting she take the money, until Luffy stepped in and challenged her. The only reason she spared it is because she was intrigued by Luffy. This was an exception, not something she ever really would have done otherwise.
EDIT: Just noticed how "crew" means Tamago and such, not Big Mom herself. That kind of defeats what I said. But well, Tamago is not very representative of the whole crew and especially not of Big Mom herself, though. Bobbin, a higher-up, seemed to have no problem at all burning the island, and he also offered to go wreck Fishman Island. I do agree that Jack seems worse overall, though, but we have to wonder how representative Jack is of Kaidou's crew.
Far more interesting chapter than the previous.

I did on the spoiler thread. Like, Oda has done much more whimsical and imaginative and creative spreads and stuff…but this one is insanely cool. Impossibly cool. As you say, I honestly believe this is the awesomest Brook and, specially, Robin have ever looked. Robin looks insanely incredible.
Good stuff all around, specially with the genuinely superb character designs, but...the spread eclipses everything.
Oda has been shipping Robin and Franky too much lately.
looks like the big cat has a necklace in one panel but not in the other

Cool chapter, I like the night and day thing. Our first billion bounty.
Could someone remind me again: despite Duke Inuarashi swearing Raizo not being on the island… then why is everyone coming to Zou to look for him? Kinemon and Kanjuro included?
Nice to see more details on the SMILES, although now I'm curious about what happened in Inuarashi and Nekomamushi's voyage that involved Wano that left both sides on bad terms. It would explain Kinemon's statement from before and Nekomamushi's one in this chapter.
Haha, I just realized Luffy is actually sucking a lollipop.. Uh, the 4kids memories…
You can't spell jackass without Jack.
Wow, this chapter was incredibly confusing and crazy the first read with some unforgivably clumsy exposition. But fucking hell, it was slick. The duke just falling asleep randomly and the explanation was hilarious and just typical, stupid one piece goofs. The night lord is awesome though. I loved him immediately. Oda really makes sure the minks don't seem like pushovers, which will hype Jack, which in turn hypes the guys who defeated him. Win - WIN- WIN for Oda.
Really you think that? The last panel is showing us Jack going serious. This guy im sure he's stronger in his human/mammoth form than total mammoth.
I agree, and I believe that fact holds true for most zoans. Take Lucci's example, he was at his best when in hybrid form, not when in full leopard mode.
Nekomamushi seems to be based on the concept of the nekomata, which is a cat yokai with two tails.
Looks like Jack got the same kind of horns that Kaido? Maybe smaller, but there´s definitely something that looks like a horn at the side of his head, eye level
I just love the two dukes: the cat & dog. I love that reasonable side of the dog: he tossed his sword and tried to reason with Jack. Amazing. I love the cat; that crazy side of him is suitable for opponents like Jack who can't be reasoned with. Also, if he can display this pacifist attitude toward his adversary, how come the cat & himself were at each other's throats, especially since they had a past of friendship?
@Xelloss:
I very strongly doubt that he is going to be the antagonist of this arc.
I perfectly understand your doubt. I think there is a good chance this possibility may occur.
@Xelloss:
Between the first mention of Crocodile and his defeat in Alabasta we've had Little Garden and Drum. Rest assured it won't be different this time (plus, why would Jack go back to Zou?)
The one that parallels Crocodile from this aspect, in my opinion, is Kaido. He has been hyped ever since the climax of the Punk-Hazard arc. This is one of the reasons that makes me see Jack as the main antagonist of this arc. As for the reason behind his coming back, it could be either Raizo or Momo. At chapter 795, we have seen that Kaido's goon did not find Raizo, which indicates that their purpose of invading Zou remained unsettled.
Theory: All the Calamities of Kaido, and Kaido himself, have the genes of the Oars race/species in them. :ninja:
Forget the sides. There's something really wrong about the lower part of this guy's face.
That was a very satisfying chapter. The cover was excellent too! Wonderful designs on all of the characters, and man does Oda love drawing elephants/mammoths.
Only gripe is the absence of Law, but the setup for whatever he's about to deal with should be worth the wait!
I also don't think Jack is gonna be dealt with in Zou. Specially, not with that bounty and just after Luffy and the others got theirs increased.
@The:

I would like to believe that Drake is one of the Calamities, so that would make this theory wrong. My theory is that all tree Calamities have ancient zoans (mammoth, dinosaur, something) and Kaido himself has a mythical zoan (dragon?)
