Yeah, there's no way he'll beat Kaido one on one, because who the hell else could match Luffy then until the end of the story? After all, we still have Elbaf, finding the 4th Poneglyph and probably dealing with CP0/Meeting Dragon, as well. Just off the top off my head.

But I do think he will become strong enough to fight really strong people without Gear 4th, at least.

Quick prediction: the 4th Road Poneglyph is probably in the Holy Land, hence why no pirate was able to locate it so far.

Except for Roger of course, and perhaps that explains why Shanks knows the Five Elders, because he went there with his former captain.

Don't know if anyone has mentioned this already, but here's my theory about the events in this chapter:

I don't believe it was an hallucination of Big Mom, neither a mass memory tampering done by Pudding. The destruction of the ship really happened.

However, I don't think that ship was the Sunny at all. In my opinion, what really happened was that Big Mom went into a transe after eating the cake (just like it happened when she was young) and completely lost awareness of everything around her. Just like before, she could no longer distinguish friend from foe - or in that case, friend from food.

I'm pretty sure when she's in this state, homies made out of her own soul also get affected - they seem to be somewhat in sync, hence why the ship is singing along with her when they're nowhere near each other. And that is why whenever she sings "risky", the ship fires. Just like Big Mom herself, the ship must also be completely unaware of its surroundings, so it is most likely just firing randomly at whichever ships are in sight. The ship that got obliterated must have been one of Big Mom's ships, just like the one that blew up when she first sang "risky".

The only thing this theory doesn't explain is the burned Straw Hat flag, but that could easily be explained by the fact that the ship got hit by the aftershock of one of the explosions and it fell off, or it could even be a flag that was being carried by the Sun Pirates, which got burned by Oven.

It's possible, but I doubt it. I think the reason why Jack was after Raizou is the very same reason why the latter didn't surrender himself.

I mean, there has to be something important about Raizou, otherwise why would Jack be after him?

This was a really moving chapter, loved it!

The question now is, why did Raizou not give himself to Jack and instead let his friends suffer so much? There must be something really important about him (either himself or something he's holding to) that was far more important than his mink friends well being.

Theory: All the Calamities of Kaido, and Kaido himself, have the genes of the Oars race/species in them. :ninja:

I would like to believe that Drake is one of the Calamities, so that would make this theory wrong. My theory is that all tree Calamities have ancient zoans (mammoth, dinosaur, something) and Kaido himself has a mythical zoan (dragon?)

I agree, and I believe that fact holds true for most zoans. Take Lucci's example, he was at his best when in hybrid form, not when in full leopard mode.

This. Dunno why so many people think they will hangout in Thousand Sunny. Just imagine when Luffy goes to Marineford again with these allies backing him up. I'm sure these aren't the only allies either and Luffy will have more people following him around just like Mihawk said he has the ability to turn almost anyone into his ally

I don't think they'll follow the Straw Hats everywhere either, but I'm a bit conflicted about the dwarves. I mean, they aren't pirates and I highly doubt they can operate a ship, so what will they do until Luffy calls them? Stay in Dressrosa? Join one of the other 6 factions?

Jinbe is the captain of the Sun Pirates. He won't leave and join the SH just like with all the others who have their own crews like Law and Bart.

Yes he will, because he specifically said he would, and Luffy explicitly asked him to join, unlike with these new allies. How can you not tell the difference?

Nah, Jinbe will definitely be sailing with the Straw Hats. He will be a part of the crew, not an underling. I'm fairly certain neither Luffy nor Jinbe would accept it any other way.
