My god, these past couple of weeks were aggravating. I had spent an entire week not only weeking my ass off at my job more than usual, but also doing a whole bunch of stuff at my apartment in order get it ready for pest control to do a thorugh treatment for bedbugs (a problem that i have had for months btw so i was unable to get much of a proper good night sleep ). It was really a pain in the ass as it was taking a serious toll on my body but thankfully i managed. They finally did the treatment a few days ago but unfortunately there are still a few bed bugs left so i have to keep a sharp eye out for the little bastards. Also, i'm about to get a new couch this weekend to replace my crappy old one.
How was your Day 2 (general chat)

One of my friends was hit by a car and is in horrible pain. I'm at her house right now looking after her dog while her boyfriend is by her side in the hospital.
-
So finally happened, the maid who took care of me and my mother since I was 3 years old retired today. I will miss her, but she is too old and needs to take care of herself, and I need to start taking care of myself and my house.
Kinda scary, but meh…I will face it.

Jesus, I hope she makes a full recovery.

I was training martial arts in the park at 6am this morning. Someone called the cops on me because they thought I was carrying a rifle. It was a black bag about 3 feet long but inside was a 3 sectional staff. The cop was cool about it though. I guess everyone is on edge right now.
-
Since our maid retired, I had to do some house cleaning + I decided to do some workout and go to a fitness gym. I am super tired, but yeah, I liked and I will continue. I decided to do a walking every day.

I signed up for the STAR program at my local community college today, where they help me find alternatives to doing oral presentations in front of a class. After I was done with that, I had some Panda Express for dinner (in which I always order the usual: Orange Chicken, Chow Mein, and my absolute favorite, Beijing Beef.) I went to GameStop afterward, where I bought a pre owned copy of NCAA Football 14 as an early Christmas gift for myself. It's nice to get out of the house once in a while.
-
Don't you just love it when you buy a game, and two days later it goes on sale?
In other news, today an Indian man came up to me and asked me to take a photo of him. He wanted a selfie with me too, but I'm a bit too shy for that! I wonder what he was doing visiting Sweden this time of year. There was also some weird guy who had some kind of pills who came up to us, no idea what was up with that.
College is more fun that ever before. The class is appreciating being back together instead of being meshed together with another class, so everyone is in a good mood. And our current course is about STORYTELLING! We're reading fairy tales, poems and watching films for class! I've always, always, always wanted to read about storytelling and I had no idea they included it in this program. After the horror that was the last course, this is such a welcome change of pace.
After this there'll be three more semesters, two will be spent doing those dreaded exams and one, hopefully, abroad. Remember how I worried so much about not making it for exchange studies? By some insane luck I got nominated, and even got in on the choice I wanted the most! If everything goes well, I'll be studying in North Carolina for three months. Visiting the US is a long-time dream, so I hope this'll go through (I've only been nominated, not accepted). -
I had a nice and peaceful Thanksgiving. I had the usual turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. For desert, I had peanut butter pie, with hot fudge and whipped cream on top.
-
The old bakery close to my house closed today, I used to go there since I was a little kid..I will miss that place.
Also, my father hired a caretaker to take care of my mother, maybe things will get better, I hope.
-
Jesus, I hope she makes a full recovery.
She's back home recovering now. Doc says There's a few permanent problems with her motor skills but nothing that will make simple things difficult for her.

But.. who's idea was it? Just who did this. Come out.
I can't look at online users anymore, MY EYES HURT >.<p.s. Seriously, though, you guys remember that CP9 theme exists as well, right?

At first I thought my moniter or web browser or something had changed the colors somehow. Will take some getting used to, but I like them.
Also congrats to the new seniors. Another very deserving group imo. :)

This evening just got way more awesome. Thank you so much :D

Stated drawing again and watching the last half of the Super mario Bros film…this film is horrifying in more ways than one
-
I just broke a pair of toenail clippers trying to clip my toenails. What the hell. Like the metal actually snapped.

Work:I forgot to post this, but in October we had a halloween costume competition, for kids, teens and adults, and a 6 years boy was in a Coffin Joe costume, with the big nails and everything..Man, I am not a big fan of little kids, but that was super awesome.
Now in December, the library staff is going to make a "secret santa", yeah..That will be fun.
Life: Enjoying the new fripSide single and preparing things for my mother's birthday party, I will give a bit of happiness to her life, more than I do daily, if that is possible. Also, after 10 years searching in my town, I finally found a sample of german mustard…Now I have create a dish to use it...
Christmas is near, but meh, there is no hype to it.

The lack of sunlight is starting to get me depressed. If there was snow it would at least be a little more cheerful, but nooo, all we get is wind. Horrible, horrible wind.
In better news, I decided to attend a local early Lucia performance. It's been years since I've seen one, so it was fun recognizing the songs. The kids were younger than I expected but it was still neat. All the locals had a little market too, selling their handmade wares, old stuff and of course, held lotteries. Things like these reminds me to get out of the city sometimes and enjoy the more rural culture. I attended disappointingly few things in my home village, so I want to change that and become more active.

So here in Texas, mainly Dallas, Fortworth, Houston, and Corpus, you have a choice in who you use for electricity. There's around 150 different Companies right now and the market is booming.
I work for one of those electric companies and they're called, Green Mountain Energy. So last night I was working outside of a grocery store(we have a business deal with them) exit and I asked this middle aged couple, "Who do you use for electricity at home, guys?" and they replied. "Man we would stop, but we have to get home to our kid. Next time!" the husband said. I nodded and told them that it's 'worth their time' (it's sort of like a second pitch but also saying, alright no worries) and turned back towards the exit and continued pitching. Another lady had come by about 3 minutes later and I asked the same question. She said she wants to switch to us but it wouldn't be until April. As I was giving her my business card, I noticed out of the corner of my eye as the lady with my card walked away that there was another lady was waiting at my table and things got interesting.
To my surprise after some small chit chat, it turned out to be the wife of the couple that told me "Next time!". So I asked her, " How can I help you today, Maam? You came back, so I'm guessing your contract might be up or?". I wasn't ready for what she was about to tell me.
She immediately knelt down at the front of my table and sighed as she told me, "I have TXU.. and I'm paying so much to keep my lights on that I'm thinking of moving into an apartment at this point!" I laughed and told her that TXU customers are some of my favorites because I am usually about 30-40% cheaper then their rates. If you're in a contract with any electric company around this time of year, your Light Bill should be around 115-140$ a month for a 3 bedroom 2 bath home. And just to give you a little bit of reference, house notes generally run from 800-1000$ for that size of a home around here in the south east part of Houston.
"So, how much was your bill last mont- actually, here use my stool." I told her as she had all but sat down on the concrete. she took it, and then answered my question. "Generally I pay around 756$ for electricity. I paid my bill today and it was 565$." Mind.Blown. " Holy shit…" I repsonded. She came back with " Yeah, I wanna switch, but I don't know if I'm in a contract, plus they give me a 100$ gift card at the end of the year." I looked her over, my right eye brow half raised and said, " So what's that 100$ gift card doing for you?" "Nothing" she laughed. "Exactly, and, that 200$ cancellation fee is a drop in the fucking bucket compared to what you just paid all year. I'm switching you right here, right now. And come January, you're bill will have dropped 450$. If not, call and complain and say I swindled you." She nodded, and I signed her up to switch with in the next few business days.
After finishing up she told me as I was handed her some important information (including my card) that she had seen me before sometime in August, and that we had spoken to each other, but she didn't have the 3 minutes it took to sign up and told me she'd do it later. Her bill that month was 802$.
I went to shake her hand and instead of doing that she hugged me, "Thank you!" She said to me as she let go. I told her " 'Course!, I'm only here to lower your bill, that's it. if I can't so be it, but if I can, then hey."
Best Sign up all year. It even tops signing up my parents.
Man that felt really good. xD I had to tell someone.

=) That sounds awesome! Keep up the good work! I, too, love it when I help someone but I've never been able to do something as big as that. Wow!
@Zar:

Same. Or rather, I become really sleepy. I'm normally dead tired but now it's worse than normal and I'm chugging D-vitamins like crazy too so everything is stressing me out and it gets annoying. And a bit depressing.
Especially since it got up to +9C today… I mean, wtf? That's just mean. Some GOOD news, then. For my birthday my mother helped sponsor me buying a new bed, so I did... and it arrived earlier than expected. They said 6-8 weeks, it's been... 4? ish. It arrived today and boy does it dominate my bedroom. There's still plenty of space, it's actually very comfortable (especially since I also stuffed 2 bookcases, 1 bureau, 1 nighttable, 1 desk with 2 computer screens, 2 deskchairs (one that's only used by the cat as a bed) and 1 big computer in there), but when you enter the room the bed is all you can see. This is awesome. My apartement looks like a postapocalyptic warzone with all the trash lying around + my previous bed being left in pieces everywhere but the bed is good. Can't wait to sleep in it. I've tried it, it feels really comfortable, but sleeping in the thing is different.

Today was my Mother's birthday, so in the night, me and my father took her out for dinner at that old pizzeria we went for my birthday party, she really liked, but I didn't bought her present yet, meh, I don't want to buy a generic gift for her.
About my job, to my surprise, my boss said that I will be interviewed by a TV station along with others workers of the museum this month, she said that the interview is going to be about the recent expositions and about the library, I am uneasy about this, because I might stutter during the interview.

Don't worry you do fine! And I hope you have fun as well! :3
As for me, my day is going well. I made some more progress in Persona 3 FES. And later on I go to work in a few hours. Speaking of work, I love my new job a lot. I have been working there for a few months, and its really fun. I'm a lead sales associate there, and I find it more fun being in a manager position than compared to my other jobs I had before.
-
Today my day was shared between helping my mother with her new smartphone and going to a protest against our president (yeah, if you go to the news thread you know what I am talking about). People are creative when it comes to make posters and banners.
It was a good thing to see that, regardless of skin color, financial position, age, gender, people were there to make a clean protest.
I even found a group of friends there.

Started doing some Judo at the new gym I'm at. I'm not sure how I feel about it, it's a little slow paced for me thus far. But after that at striking I can really feel what those months sitting around and cigarettes did to me. It's really frustrating to have the skills but not the ability to use them. They want me fighting in a few months which is hilarious, but I was flattered that they saw my skill. I've worked really hard on my martial arts and my technique. Not hard enough though I'm still a chump really.
I've got to say that I'm finding it really hard to talk to girls. Or anyone for that matter. But I think I'm slowly warming back up to people. My hatred for them has all but vanished. I'm still much more conscious of the dark side of people but I'm learning to accept it more and become less upset at those dark acts. I don't want much anymore, just to treat others correctly, be good to myself and throw myself into my life while it's still around.
I don't need to be special. I just want to play my part. Hopefully I'll be special to some and inspire good things.

My mother is currently in the hospital and has been there for the past four days. I've been very worried for a while and i've tried my best to not let it get to me and just for things to turn out fine soon but i became more and more worried about her and i fear that i might loose her like i how i lost my cousin last year. :(
I just don't know what to do.
-
Just got off the phone with my mom and it seems like she's doing perfectly fine so far. I still have no idea when she's getting out though but i'm quite relieved that she's doing ok for now. :)

Oh, that is a relief, is always nice to have good news, I hope for the best.
About my day ? Just a new haircut and I finally bought my mother's birthday present.
-
Today was an awesome day! I found out that I am ambidextrous! This really makes me so happy, it does! ^_^
-
Google just made one of the best, if not the best, interactive google doodles ever. Pretty cool.
-
^You're right, that is really cool.

Earlier this week, in the middle of the night, I watched a couple of movies: The McPherson Tape + Incident in Lake County
I've been completely traumatized. I understand they're just movies, but they're still the scariest found footage films I've ever watched. They just came off as too real. I'm scared to death of my hallway at night. I walk with my back against the wall and avoid looking towards windows. Why are aliens so scary, ugh.

I finally got a job offer! So long, funemployment!

I finally got a job offer! So long, funemployment!
Congrats Benjammin, You've really earned it. I'm happy to hear that your personal life is moving in a more positive direction and hope that everything continues to work out well for you.

Rogues, that image makes no sense. The person is behind the text crossing it out from the back, but the red is in FRONT of the text. I FIND THIS HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS. THIS PERSON SHOULD PROBABLY BE FIRED.

Congratulations, Benjammin !!!! I really hope everything works well for you. Is this your first job ?
Work: Last day of work, now is time for vacation ;) But what I really liked today was the secret santa the museum staff did, I "unfortunately" bought a generic gift to the person, which is not bad, but is was so hollow in emotions. To my surprise, my secret friend said some cool stuff about me and also, gave me 3 cool T-shirts…Man, it is great to know you are liked and remembered in a place, especially if this place is where you work. Had awesome spaghetti bolognese for dinner.
Gave my God Daughter her gifts.
Caught up with RWBY.
Bought my Mom a cool dragon themed bracelet.
Recounted tales from my 2011 AP drama to my skype friends and had a good laugh.
Bought AC/DC tickets for next year. This is gonna rock. -

I just hope that isn't permanent marker because what that person is actually doing is writing on a pane of glass in front of the word "unemployed" which is on a piece of paper or something in the background.
-
Clever, but I don't think the perspective allows for that possibility. The word would look skewed.
-
Thanks for the congratulations! No, this is not my first job, but it is my first one in almost an entire year. The time off definitely helped me to reevaluate things, but it was high time that I got back to work!
-
Today ended good for me! I finally beat my roommate in Mario Party 4! (She's really good at the minigames.) I barely won thanks to luck xD
And congrats on the job too benjamminbrown! I wish you the best of luck, and hope you have fun too! :3

I went to visit my uncle in the hospital today. Most of his face was swollen, and he had a fracture from his forehead to his mouth. He's a drug addict, and was on a pretty big binge recently. Me and other family members are thinking whoever did this to him, he may have owed drug money to him. I'm just glad he's alive, and hopefully this will be a huge wake up call for him to turn his around.
-
Congrats Ben!
today was kinda crummy. We did inventory at work with the new manager and he does things a little differently, and we had to put some backstock out on the floor while counting and it made the store look like a big mess. It was really frustrating and I was kinda crampy all day so I was in a dark mood when I got home. I was a little grumpy to Carter but he was so nice and gave me space and did some dishes, so I couldn't stay grumpy. I just feel like my life is running wildly out of control with this job. Like I'm not getting any traction but I'm just wasting all this time at this place I don't want to be at any more. Lately I've been sinking a lot of my free time into my animation work, hoping that I'll get a few pieces that I can put on my reel, and I finally finished a big hunk of an animation that I've been working on for the past few months. So I do feel pretty good about that at least…
Well time for bed
-
Thanks again, everyone!
Going to marathon the Star Wars movies today so that I will be prepared to see the new one sometime this week.
-
Unfortunately, the daughter of my friend had a stroke, she is now in hospital awaiting surgery. I will visit her after surgery.
Another thing, my father sold my accordion, good, now I have a reason to buy a new one.
-
Went and bought myself a gym membership at a local 5 star hotel.
Swimming pool, wide open equipment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, jacuzzi tubs…
This is gonna be great. Working up a sweat in the gym and then relaxing in the water like a King.
I'm sure that combining work and reward will do wonders for my motivation. :)Also, really happy to finally hit 10K subs before the New Year :D
-
Finally the semester is done, and I got an A- for Chem lab. Three grades left…..can't get my expectations too high....
Oh well. Time for winter break!
