And on how to get acquainted to the somewhat suspect looking way Araki poses his characters.
Actually, i think it brainwash your mind to draw those poses and even do them.

@Galaxy:
A "how-to" manga guide written by Araki is releasing in Japan on April 17th.

I love that he drew himself with a character that he basically based…off of himself? Either way. I love it.
Also, I just have to say that I would love to see Oda draw more Jojo~
Just got the Phantom Blood hardcover 1, and it's amazing.
I had expected to return to the weird and confusing motions that had put me off the first time I read it, but…nothing! It looks amazing! It's almost as if I had completely exaggerated the issue in my mind. I can pretty much ignore it now.
Colour pages were cool, but I expected much wackier colours. I guess Araki hadn't gotten into that yet, or his editors rejected it and wanted a better first impression.

I wanted to make it my sig since quite some time.
Thanks for reminding of that awesome piece of art

Jojonium relase ?
Can you post some pictures(from phone would be more than enough) from any of those semi-color pages?
Pretty please with sugar on top I also want to buy it but it would have to come long way to me so I would have to pay extra instead of waiting for Jojonium being relased closer to me, so I am mixed about decision and pics could help.

Check out the Amazon preview. It has samples of the color pages.

16 characters of thank you
最高にハイ!ってやつだァァァ!アハハハーッ Dio
世界、時よ止まれッ!Dio (time stop quote)
てめーはおれを怒らせた Jotaro
、と、ヘブンズドアーの顔、になります Rohan
The other ones are sound effects.
Awesome Gradivus! Thanks for your help! They all arrived today, and looking it up, that one for Jotaro is his "You Pissed Me Off" catch phrase
Got the whole bag for 6,000 yen!! bargain!!
!
D´Arby Part 2 man… didn´t disappoint at all.
! the scene with D´Arby losing was awesome. Amazing visuals
Finally got to watch today's episode. Jotaro's resting bitch face=poker face. Also, I hated that they blacked it out, it seemed pointless to me.
Next will be Hol Horse and Boingo, that should be funny!
Yea I do find it annoying they cover up certain things
I guess it's a way to get people to buy the Blu-rays or the regualr dvds(if they are uncut)
I didn't realize Japan had a thing against minors smoking? That's the only reason I could think of why they would censor it.
They sensored that JoJo fight against… i want to say... Dark Blue Moon? Too.
They have censored stuff but Stardust crusaders is a lot less violent than part 1 and 2.
Petshop battle will be certainly censored though.

Yeah, that's why. In fact, if you read some of the source books you'd find that the One Piece anime actually upped Sanji's age by a year to get around that, but it's not really an issue since his age never comes up in the series itself (and he certainly doesn't look like a minor or high school student anyway).
Now that we've gotten past the D'arby the greater, let us reminisce
^ Jotaro certainly doesn't look like a minor either, haha. But they do mention his age, so.
Also, it looks like SC will run for 48 episodes. That means about 13 left. Wondering how many episodes Dio's World will be, there were like 10 chapters in the manga. No way they can do it with 2 episodes like the other fights.
Some of the more violent stuff I could see. Faces ripped or punctured isn't anything I like to see myself lol.
I didn't know about the Sanji thing. Huh.
The censoring of Jojo smoking did at least remind me he's a teenager. As were the other Jojo's….All of them were weren't they?

Dio's World will be a thrilling 9 episode conclusion, and all other fights will be crammed into four episodes

"GDILF magazine's top ten most fuckable grandpas." Lol! So true. has that picture
Oh man, how did I miss Jojo abridged? This does remind me how the ova version of this fight was actually better. Still hate ova Dio though.

Kakyoin and Jotaro are the only minors. Polnareff and Avdol are in their late 20s.

If you hate OVA Dio then you'll love abridged OVA Dio who rectifies anything wrong with a truly soothing and alluring voice.
Also, Dio's World was 18 chapters
I remember it being really long, wow. Yeah, I'll be watching more of this Jojo abridged.

I was only referring to the Jojos for each part they were leads in. I know Avdol is older.
I thought Polnareff was younger than late 20s though.

Oh, sorry, my bad. Is 19 considered being a minor in Japan? Because that means all of them. Or if not, then it would just be Jotaro, Josuke and Giorno. Polnareff is 25 in SC, they never specify Avdol's age, but I assume he's in his late 20's/early 30's.
We're in the home stretch of Stardust Crusaders.

As it should be.
I don't think the Hol Horse/Boingo and Petshop fights should take up two episodes each. Faster they get through those, the faster Kakyoin can come back. Also, D'arby the Gamer. I'm so ready for it! So, that would be four episodes. The rest is all Dio. Yup.
I'm surprised d'arby and boingo is two episodes tbh. Perhaps it will be one and a half while pet shop will be 1 and a half. Then d'arby 2 will be 2 and half and vanilla ice 2 and a half
DIO's World was a 18 chapter Arc.
A episode usually covers 3 chapters
So DIO's World would need 6 or 7 episodes(ch.265 was the epilogue chapter)
Well if it goes the way I said then that's 8 episodes until DIOs world and leaves dio 6 episodes. 3 x 6 makes 18 so it would fit perfectly
Just out of the oven, yours for the taking.
Bask in its bizarreness.
Excellent chapter. I love how Yasuho is showing agency as a character whereas before she was mostly a damsel in distress. Also the mystery has become really intrigueing now things are tying together.
I just… I just don't know what the hell is going on with these part 8 chapters...
It's so confusing... i don't know if my brain can take the bizarreness...
I think something's Araki never been particularly good at is the flow of a given action. His characters' bodies move in weird ways, and sometimes he adds puzzling pannels. Here, for example, what's that panel of the hand in the upper left corner's got to do with anything?
The beginning shots with Aishou and the birds were weird too.
His static drawing has improved massively over time, but he still has trouble conveying movement and dynamism, me thinks.
Of course, some AP artists can come now and prove me wrong and clueless, which I totally am. I have the drawing ability of an amoeba with arthritis.
I think he was having a flashback to being a stone man stuck in water but the flashback happened so spontaneously. It was weird
I think he was having a flashback to being a stone man stuck in water but the flashback happened so spontaneously. It was weird
Even before that, he threw his shoe at the birds that shitted on him? But the arc his arm is making feels weird compared to how the shoe hasn't travelled very far? And the kinetic lines right below the birds mean. . .?And then he does it a lot of times, or he's just wailing his arms in a craze?
Of course this is all offset by Aishou being shitted on triggering a flashback. That's Araki's equivalent of poetry.
I am curious how they are gonna beat him with such lame powers.
Paisley Park's ability is awesome. It's like a mystery of trying to determine how these items will help you against your enemy.
Tsurugi is really great. He's like Emporio but not terrible.
I was right when I guessed that the tornado stand was related to breathing. (Though to be honest I don't think that there were many other conclusions you could draw)
But really, think about it. One of the SBR-verse's equivalent of the pillar men has an ability that revolves around breathing. If that's intentional then I have to give Akari props for being really clever on that one.
This is correct.

Jobin has an ability that revolves around heat.
So the next one will be about light? Stand manipulates the light projected or another one that involves a world of mirros? And it will be names Turn On The Lights?
This is correct.

Easy. Posing, rock music, fashion, parfaits, and napkins. Probably some existential themes about free will, the extent to which mankind should interfere with what God should be handling, and destiny strewn in there, but everything I listed before is more or less the cornerstones.
I think posing would have summed it up in one word.

Nope. Not at all.

Hol Horse & Boingo ending:
Today's episode was a whole lot of nothing. Except for this.
I liked this episode. A bit of Dio's power forshadowing, a bit of Hol Horse being cool and facing up to dio, quite a few funny moments and a break from the usual Joestar party to give the anime a different focus for an episode.
I don't recall if I saw an answer or this asked….But why is Oingo subtitled to Mondatta? The voice actor still clearly says Oingo. It's really weird. I noticed last time he appeared but I don't think I asked.

Subbed that way due to musical copyright issues, so I guess they went for another musical reference without copyright issues: Zenyatta Mondatta by The Police
