You know how we have this big argument in this country right now about LGBT rights?
Well, one good upstanding Christian man has decided to take the "Christian" message about homosexuality to it's natural conclusion.
I feel like this is a crazy and hateful man that is just looking for attention and controversy. The language that he uses in his ballot is just so extremely over the top it reminds me of the WBC and their hateful tactics, less used to persuade people to get on their side but more so used to hurt and anger.
Like, he knows he's not going to get the necessary signatures or support and he knows he just wasted 200 dollars but everyone is going to be talking about his ballot for a good 5 minutes and in connection to that ballot talking about him. Good ol' him.
LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!
This isn't like Uganda's 'Kill The Gays Bill' which was seriously passed through parliament and signed by the president (also "Christain" influenced but eventually declared unconstitutional). This is just the ravings and mindset of a hateful homophobic man with little to no way forward. I just don't feel it has much to do with the debate of LGBT rights in America especially with the positive shift to LGBT rights in our country in recent years. Even in the anti-homsexual camp his opinion is very minor. Like, we're not debating in this country the rights for gay people to live…are we?
I do feel like you were just pointing out one crazy dude that represents an unpopular opinion so I'll just say "my bad" right now. I just wanted to make sure people know just how unpopular his opinion is.
