Has it already been statwd to be tiger? There's that animal-style collectable figure and think he's already been nickname tora by Luffy in the book?

The "Tora-o" thing seems to be another Luffy's own way of calling people and the leopard/jaguar(I don't even remember what it isxD) toy from that japanese artist isn't official either, hope last volume comes with that information.

Does anyone happen to know where I could watch (or download) the Hîderu no Kôshaku One Piece Quiz show that was broadcasted today on Fuji TV?

Isn't it derived from the way Japanese read Trafalgar? As in Torafaruga or whatever.
Same way Drake's nickname was Dory. Doreiku.

Yea, is a playing words, he's more often called "" Roo" by anyone who's not Luffy.

Does anyone else think people exaggerated how bad Sanji has become?
I re read the series recently and I'm struggling to see what was so different about him in the latter half of Fishman Island and Punk Hazard where I thought he was great from the rest of the series. -

I re read the series recently and I'm struggling to see what was so different about him in the latter half of Fishman Island and Punk Hazard where I thought he was great from the rest of the series.I think the major problems people had with Sanji this far is the nosebleed gag on FI and his bad streak of loses (he even lost against the door on PH lol), I personally don't mind either and I totally expect something epic coming from him pretty soon.

I re read the series recently and I'm struggling to see what was so different about him in the latter half of Fishman Island and Punk Hazard where I thought he was great from the rest of the series.I think people are pissed because his powerup over the timeskip seems to not be strenght oriented. In terms of pure power I feel Franky with Shogun mode on has maybe surpassed him or became his equal.
However that doesn't make him less awesome, I mean he does fly now. Plus, I feel that his cooking has become truly top tier those 100 recipes are supposed to each have a special effect, we only seen two of those…

Maybe it's because character strength is near dead last on how I determine if I enjoy characters but I just don't see his "looking streak" as that bad.
Every thing he's done strength wise has impressed me including his bout with Vergo which I don't believe he die bad at all in. -
Do you think that Robin used her power to watch the fourth level and Rebecca ? Or did she simply assume that Rebecca needs help ?

She just assumed that Rebeca got her self involved in what Robin called "The Monsters" fight; I actually laugh when I read that.

She probably doesn't even know Kyros is with her.

Can Brook's Soul be touch by Armament users?

Can Brook's Soul be touch by Armament users?
I doubt it as its not a tangible thing, it would be more intangible than a cloud (since a cloud is made up of liquid droplets or frozen crystals made of water or various chemicals suspended in the atmosphere, there's something tangible there, even if its really, really small.)
-
Speaking of Brook, think he can break Tekkai? I want to say "yes" since he defeated the Vegapunk Dragon Mk.2 which was stated to have a tougher hide than the first one, but I'm not sure because Brook is the Straw Hat who trades strength for speed.

Is gatling gun considered automatic? If not, than no.

Gatling Guns were one of the earliest automatic weapons so yeah.
-
I was unsure if it was labelled as automatic because of the handle.
-
Can Brook's Soul be touch by Armament users?
I can't see how it could tbh.
CoA allows haki users to touch the real body beneath some kind of transformation, but in this case Brook's soul is a totally separate entity that has left his body entirely.
-
How does an injured soul look like anyway ?
Nah I think Haki wouldn't do anything. Though the effects of Kairoseki or the Yami Yami on Brook's soulless body are unpredictable. -
Haki wouldn't be able to Brook's soul, so CoA wouldn't work.
However, Brook's soul does house his personality and CoC affects one's personality (the intimidation aspect) so if the person had a stronger will than Brook it could cause him to shiver in his soul form, and if really strong (Aka Shanks) make him loose his concentration and his soul driven back into his body. -
How does Alvida feel about Luffy currently? I always thought that she despised him because of what happened at the very start of the series but then i was re-reading logue town arc and she said something about admiring luffy
-
After Luffy defeated her, Alvida 'fell in love' with Luffy. Her reasoning is that he's strong enough for her.:wassat:
And yes, at Lougetown she said she intends to marry Luffy. But we've not seen her mention it since, despite seeing her since she & Buggy's crew has entered the Grand Line.Who knows, maybe now that Buggy is a shichibukai, It could be that she thinks Buggy's strong enough to marry instead
Of course there is nothing to support that but there are a lot of Alvida/Buggy shippers out thereand you know since then Hancock has been introduced so maybe that gag with Alvida was dropped. But in reality… I want to see Hancock & ALvida arguing over who will marry Luffy while Luffy walks away saying "No Thanks! I' not gonna marry either of you"

So, is there any reason to believe the New Fishman Pirates are stronger than CP9? I've seen a lot of people claim this, but I find it… hard to believe, to put it mildly.

judging from the difficulty the strawhats had, if there's any save from Luffy for some obvious reasons, I don't think the NFP were that far from what the former CP9 members could offer while they are on their overdosed states. Hody's base form is strong but i dont think he could even defeat pre time skip Luffy. Now, we dont know the current status of Rob Lucci and his gang but its given that they would have grown stronger after time skip. Probably Hody at his most overdosed state could give rob Lucci, kaku or jabra a good fight so as blue ring octopus.

this kind of problem always exist and it bugs me a lot. older enemies will look far weaker compared to new enemies. take croc for example, he got defeated by a super rookie, no name pirate like luffy who doesnt know how to use haki at all. compared to newer enemies, obviously he look extremely weak even though we all know that he isnt.
i hope we will see old enemies in later arcs and oda can show us that they too train during the timeskip and get stronger.
anyway, im pretty sure the current (after timeskip) cp9 can wipe the floor with the fishmen. the old cp9 might have a problem though.

But…we haven't seen anything from CP9 post-timeskip to make this comparison.
Well apart from a possible silhouette of Lucci, but that doesn't really help in this regard.

I don't remember seeing any silhouette of lucci.
We had the silhouette of the broker with the top hat, who was most likely Lucci.

I don't remember seeing any silhouette of lucci.
it was during the broadcasting from caesar

Indeed he looks like Lucci. But I thought the anime disapproved that it wasn't lucci?

yeah i saw that but i don't take the anime seriously in any discussion matters

It's this panel that the anime interpreted as a moustache, killing all the suspens.

Croc showed his true strength at Marineford so I'm more okay with him than Lucci, who's increasingly looking like he's decidedly average in the grand scheme of things despite all the hype he got.

Dunno, he still has his insta-kill shigan.
Or rather, a Shigan that would be insta-kill if this wasn't One Piece, where people are notoriously tanking everything.
Croc… I think he is slightly incosistent between his portrayl in Alabasta and his portrayl in Marineford. Both character and strength wise.
-
Crocoboy, the guy who murdered Luffy a few time and the only reason Luffy defeated him was because of Devil's luck. I like that guy!
-
Post East blue, the only defeated villian boss that I don't see being capable of being a threat again are:
Wapol (mainly because we saw him being a president again)
Hody (almost as dead as oda would go)
Foxy (was reliant on his devil fruit and the fact that he was a rival in a sport game)
Vanderdecken (outclased and doesn't have the advantage of a training time, by the way, to whom were his hands were set to in the end?)Crocodile is pretty strong, compare the state that he left luffy in round one and two, vs how enel left him in his round one, and lucci in round one
Enel while outclased by Luffy, even a haki user could be hurt seriously by his electric attacks
Lucci, as he already uses the same fighting style that the top brass of the marines use
Moriah has his tricks, and a few instakills, plus a logia like defense that can't be beaten by Haki (if he already swaped with the shadow there's no "true body" to hit)
