Bepo was not in that Z spread. It's a completely unrelated bear which Moriah used as a zombie in the war.
Sound fair enough.

Trébol looked even younger at Age 33 than this supposedly 16/18 self http://i.imgur.com/1UFfdwl.jpg
It's the same person, though. Same facial features.
@Mex:
Thanks for the answer guys.
Still the only connection to me is the x on his chin that is partially on shadow so we are not sure it's actually a x scar or just a shadow…
Plus Dory and Drake does not sound like Doffy and DD to me... Maybe it has something to do with the Japanese language... I do not know :)
Thanks again guys!
Αlso those from chapter 765 (infos by Aohige and other members)
1. The pirate Diez Barrels. The family name Diez is how "X" in X Drake is read. It's clearly written whenever Drake shows up in the manga, with the exact same spelling. (ディエス) He is a former marine gone pirate.
2. The pirate has a cleft chin, shared by Drake.
3. The pirate angrily calls "Dory" to bring booze, to which the young man replies "Right away.." The boy looks miserable from what we can see.
Drake is spelt in Japanese as Doreeku, Dory would completely match how nicknames are named in One Piece.
4. This is taking place in North Blue, where Drake hails from.
It's look like Sir Francis Drake destroyed a large number of barrel staves of supplies in the attack of Cadiz port, Spain.
(Χ Drake is based on Sir Francis Drake)

Diez Kanji
everybody understand the scenes how they please lol
Bellamy's age hasn't been revealed yet
Seemed like you replied that power talk was about CoC being teached to Doffy, if not then my bad once more if yes then mkaaay
Thanks agian guys :) I do not know Jap so I could not know Dory and Drake spelling relation. Now it's clear.
Sniff really good chapter sniff
Will Law and Doffy meet in 3 years or so ? I can't remember.
And how old is Drake again ?
It's probably the first and the last time that we see vice amiral Sengoku:
!
It's probably the first and the last time that we see vice amiral Sengoku:
good catch, him and akainu are the only ones we've seen climbing the ladder to the top.
when Cora-san tell Law "i Love You" to him, it is Suki or Aishiteru, or other word in Japanese like family love?
Can Bellamy really be Corazons son?
They look alike, there is some hidden reason for Bellamy wanting to become part of Mingos crew, we didnt gotten to see even smallest bit of Bellamy in flashback.
Would be bit cliche in weird way but also be kind of interesting twist imo.
The Trebol line seems a bit mysterious… And Oda wants us to cry, huh.
Kings haki training wasnt what Trebol said or suggested imo
Conqueror's haki can't be trained (according to Rayleigh) so I'd certainly agree with you here.

Bellamy simply isn't important. He's just a really devoted guy.
Pretty sure he was speaking to his father, who was responsible for taking away his Celestial Dragon status.
After all, stealing Haki doesn't really make sense.
Good too ! !

Nah I was wrong, KC corrected me which actually makes more sense then Doffy thinking that Trebol stole his Kings Haki
Chapter was nice but the end doesn't click well for me. I can't see Law escaping Doffy just yet.If he did then a lot of lines/discussions from previous chapters make zero sense.

for example what?
You are kidding right? I can make a collage of pictures that are totally out of context if Law escapes.Just read chapter 682 again for starters and tell me everything seems ok.
Quick example:
Why would exactly Vergo shed a tear over killing Law when he has even barely met him? And how can a kid that run off with the Ope-Ope years ago is considered to be rebelling against the family JUST NOW?
Cora's death was handled amazingly by Oda.
The touch at the end of the snow on his smiling face mimicking the effects of a person dying with amber lead poison was outstanding.

why should i be kidding, itsn not that i'm doubting you, i just couldnt remember.
i took the just now part, as not harming them for 15 years and then bam in your face doflamingo.
and i did not remember dofla talking to vergo about it being hard on him too
edit: i read it, he looked all over his growth but he did not meet him for 10 years iirc. so he watched him in the papers and stuff like that. - check
he treated him like a little brother - check
vergo liked him, thats the only thing that catches my attention that doesnt quite fit.

They believed Law was still part of their crew despite Law not contacting them for the past 10 years and they must have kept track of Law's movements after he became a pirate for all we know.
A great chapter filled with emotions. Rocinante is a wonderful man, his mere existence is an obstacle Doflamingo will never surpass. The Don, despite how much I hate him, is a unique character that shows just how much the author is trying to convey through this story. Doflamingo blames his father, blames his brother, decides to hate the whole world and chooses to confine himself in a little bubble he calls the family. He just blames everyone else in a defensive stance position because he is afraid, not of others, but afraid of himself. Waking up one day and facing the reality that he is an adult baby, an emotionally damaged kid that still thinks the world owe him a lot. Look at his whiny speeches about why he thinks no one had it harder than him, his mockery of the cards the world dealt him, and his refusal to see the world as it is and not through those awfully deceiving shades. Sorry, Don, lots of other beings have experienced hardships in their life and you know what, they turned up normal and some of them even exceeded their pain and sufferings to become wonderful and great like your own blood relative. Rocinante is a living example -see below for why he is alive- of the Don's patheticness and inability to rise upon the cards. The initial cards of being born a celestial dragon and their implications were changed when his father moved out, and he responded by killing his father. Every time the world bets him, he makes the wrong call. How can a man who lived both lives of the rich and powerful, and the struggling poor still not understand the wrongness of the celestial dragons views? how can he not see the struggles of others? he saw law's struggle? one among many? why is he still causing others all this misery then? whims and narcissism. Even his care for his "family" is nothing but a glass shield to keep His remaining sanity from burning out. He doesn't care about them, He cares about what they represent to him as they are his only solace in his own little world, and they are the glue that holds his feathers together as to not be blown away in a storm. He burns his surroundings to not be lonely in misery, and that's a blatant weakness this heavenly demon posses. A weakness so lethal as true power comes from within and not from weakening others, and that's why Doflamingo is his own demon. However, Doflamingo in his struggle to live with his shortcomings and his selfishness, is shielding the little kid in his inner self with two things; Laughter and power. All this power search, the gun totting, the need for more devil fruits, the need to become a dragon again, the need for immortality, all because as long as he got "power" He won't have to deal with the real self trapped under all the madness and world loathing. Doflamingo's only solution to wake up from this long dream, I mean nightmare of his, is a force strong enough to break his shades. In summary, the Don is evil and needs to suffer for what he did to others, but he is also weak and fragile. An egg that's very gooey from the inside, with a hard shell to compensate for and a pair of very misleading shades. I believe this unique combination is the source for his "haki", a cornered rabbit clinging to precious life.
On another front, regarding the people in Doflamingo's memory, I think they represent different times from his life. The first two are kid Vergo and Trebol which he met shortly after surviving the towns people's lynching, then we have his brother asking him to stop his confrontation with their father and him yelling at said father. Finally, we have Trebol offering Doflamingo power and what in my opinion could be the Ito Ito no Mi. I believe when we first saw Doflamingo acquiring the Mera Mera no Mi, Trebol's involvement is heavly suggested which I think has deeper meanings. Trebol maybe the original gang leader for a small yet troubling group of smugglers that specialized in profiting from devil fruit trading. After he saw Doflamingo's madness and hunger for power, he stepped down happily as a retired "godfather" and installed his protege as leader, unleashing him upon the world and continuously watched him burn it in his quest for revenge dancing to the same rhythm of destruction. Regardless if he gave him the Ito Ito no Mi or not, I think its quite possible that he took Doflamingo under his wing until the kid's feathers were strong enough to fly on their own.
Regarding the brother's father, the naive saint until the end, rest in peace man for you guided one soul's escape from the claws of the demonic dragons to become the heroic Rocinante.
A shout out to Tsuru and her crew for scaring the Don, this lady might be the best female the marines can offer. I hope we will see more of her in the story.
Once a great doctor said that people die when they are forgotten. Congratulations, Rocinante, for you obtained immortality.
Sorry for the long post and thank you all for allowing me to share a few expressions and ideas I had after reading the chapter.
good gravy, please format that.
This chapter finally confirms that the kid with Diez Barrels is X-Drake.
And GODDAMN, Oda, I love you, but FUCK YOU! He knew Rocinante was gonna die, we all knew he was gonna die, develops him into a very likable and interesting character with a lot of depth in only a few chapters and then BAM, kills him.
Oda savors on our tears and sorrows. He does this for every flashback character whenever given the chance.
I laughed real hard.
I din't even shed a tear. I'm surprised, maybe that's because I've read the spoilers first, dunno. Chapter was nice, Rosi holding on to make sure Law could escape was pretty nice.

Nah,come on ppl. How do you explain this panel then?
Law escaping now just doesn't connect with what we ve been told / seen characters talk about.
ps: Torao sorry if i came as being aggressive on my first reply. It was not my intention.

How much do you want Luffy to punch Doffy's face in now?
I find this particular scene quite badass.'good thing Rocy's still got some spunk in him, even though he knows he is gonna die.
Anyway, great chapter, as always. This flashback is plenty great, and I hope the present fights won't be cut short.

Easy. Law was meant to be the 3rd Corazon, Vergo's successor.
Nothing about shedding tears. He knew Doula wanted Law to be his new right-hand man.

Law pissed off Vergo and got a beating in the last chapter .
How did doflamingo go from a bad ass to a bow legged clown in 12 years time?
Law pissed off Vergo and got a beating in the last chapter .
I don't know if this explains it though. Does it qualify as a traumatic experience by One Piece standards ? And if you piece that together with Doffy's line when he asks Vergo to kill Law,it just makes it look like they have more history than this brief encounter.

now we're asking the real questions

Doula wanted Law to be his right-hand man and the 3rd Corazon. Of course Vergo would be reluctant to kill such a person.
Not to mention being the Ope Ope no Mi user.

easy; Vergo have heard about Law but they didn't know each other and when they finally met Law was going to betray them and destroy their plan in a single move
Luffy better strike with all his might right into Doffy's kisser.
Also, was that Sengoku with young Roci in that one panel?
What i took away from this chapter was that nobody can stand against the might of the washing machine fruit.
Iirc, in the Law vs Vergo fight in PH, there was a line somewhere about Vergo being able to shield himself from Law's DF in the past, thanks to his strong Haki, which is why Vergo just attacked Law and didn't bother to evade in the first place in PH. Which means that at some point in the past, Law should have known Haki when getting beaten by Vergo, which clearly wasn't the case in this flashback. So yeah, there is definitely more about Law and the DD pirates.

That was common knowledge about the Ope Ope no Mi. Smoker also knew that.
It was never mentioned that Vergo ever defended against the Ope Ope no Mi in the past. People just thought that 2 different events ("Law angered Vergo" and "Vergo can use Haki to protect himself against the Ope Ope no Mi") were related.
How did doflamingo go from a bad ass to a bow legged clown in 12 years time?

I have a feeling the Washing fruit falls under that category of severely broken fruits that can inflict the opponent with irresistible curse.
Namely fruits like Horo Horo, Art Art, and Hobby Hobby fruits.
Those powerful fruits usually belong to either comparatively weak or physically manageable characters, to balance things out.
But I'm guessing Old lady Otsuru is an exception, having one of those broken fruits, but being a capable VA on her own.
I mean, imagine Garp having Hobby Hobby fruit. How in the hell do you deal with that beast, other than run as fast as you can.

Maybe you are right and i m reading too much into this.Could be me just wanting the flashback to drag on a little longer.
Also, HAH! That's why you always have pen and paper by your side, silly Rocinante. If he did, he could have written a message to Sengoku and saved Dressrosa.
Or hell, just send Law with the message. Marines could've solved half the problems in this world if people would tell them about stuff.
Isn`t that pretty much what Rocinante tried to do last chapter??

Doflamingo thought that Law got traumatize by Vergo since he never contact them back and as it turns out Dofla knowsshit about Law

There will be more about vergo and law, that's my belief, at least one more meeting.
about what dd said to vergo, i took it like if vergo wanted to kill law immediately whie dd wanted to keep him alive, and try to exploit the ope ope, and that'd have made vergo upset.
Maybe you are right and i m reading too much into this.Could be me just wanting the flashback to drag on a little longer.
Sholololo! I think you might be right. It doesn't make much sense for Doffy to keep the heart seat empty for 10 years. There has to be something more that leads Doffy to trust Law. Like Law never telling any marines about Vergo. And that's also pretty weird IMO.

Seeing as how she "cleans" the soul of people she washes, it would seem like a good idea to just whitewash anyone who applies to the marines. This Vergo, Morgan, Nezumi mess could've been easily avoided by a simple wednesday wash up.
But yeah that little old lady does give of a rather asskicking aura. Would very much enjoy your predictions coming true.
So Drake & Law's past intertwined on that fateful day all those years ago….
This flashback has made me like Sengoku a lot more.
Quick thought: maybe Tsuru's fruit has some advantage over Doflamingo's fruit like being able to make the strings he uses really soft (and thus ineffective)? Note that we also saw her in the shishibukai meeting earlier in the story where she was telling doflamingo to stop playing around.
