Interesting, so it was Law who came up with the plan beforehand. I thought after reading spoilers that it was on the spot attack. And he was pissed that Luffy didn't wait till later. But why wait? It connected. But i guess it's not enough. Even though it's nice to see Doffla take real hit (see he's coughing up blood :)

Another new Law technique? Lol how many does he have. Would be nice to see some new Luffy technique. Maybe gear4 to finish off Doffla.

Im guessing villians will make a comeback next chapter…

Anyone else annoyed about another string clone ? Doffla already got bird cage and now he's also using his clone? I wonder if he can fight at the same time those 2 techniques are being used and he just didn't care now. Maybe he couldn't... would be nice to see some limits to his haxes .... He already fought alongside his clone but didnt have birdcage then right?

seems he is on the verge of death,another attack and he will die..basically it's like trying to knock out someone who was already hit by a truck,you'll probably just end up killing him

well what really matter is how many he can control at any given time..as long as it's only one,it's not really different is one is being used to set up the birdcage.
it can became a problem if he doesn't have a limit,like with the number of people he can control…since one of them is able to keep law occpied,an army of them would be insanely OP

so he probably needs some kind of visual contact,he can't just think of swapping something and it's power does the rest

Great chapter as usual. I've been waiting for that hard hit moment since Punk Hazard and Oda did not disappoint! This may be the first of a few more battles between Mingo and Luffy but now it feels like it has officially kicked off with this major hit.

Looking forward to what happened with Jinbe and that ship. Lots of slash marks.

well,all he does is put a single string on you and can control your entire body
before dressrosa i though it was just an extreme version odf puppeteering,that he attach strings all over you without tou realizing it and moves your body like you are a puppet..but since the string is just one,it's less of a physical thing,and more like mind control (well,actually body control)

the name of the tecnique (parasite) suggest that too,since there are forms of parasites that take control of the body of hosts in such a way

Pica, Trebol, Diamante and Corazon are all titles for the four chairs. Spanish for all the colors in a deck of playing cards.

Mingo reserved the 'Heart' seat for Law when he was on PH. Making him the 3rd 'Corazon/Heart'.

Doffy's brother apparently was the 2nd Corazon.

So Soflamingo has had a lot of officers over the years.

Considering that the name of the technique is "Parasite", and parasites require their hosts to be alive…

I assume Doula is controlling one's nervous system or something with this move.

Still, it would be nice if this was at least a sign that they're not coming back whatever their status. It's not as if this arc lacked characters…

I personally think it conveys how badly hurt he is, both physically and mentally, like with Luffy when Ace got killed before his eyes.

As to why Law doesn't swap people around willy-nilly, I wonder if it has to do with the stamina required to do so, since he's explicitly stated that using his powers requires energy. For example, I can't recall off the top of my head (so feel free to prove me wrong), but has he ever swapped an entire person without using himself as the other half of the swap? Usually he just slices people apart and then manipulates the cut up components. Maybe it takes a lot more energy to move an entire intact person around, particularly if he's swapping them with something else. Maybe it simply takes less energy for himself to swap with them. And maybe his ability to cut up people has a lot to do with the willpower or stamina of his targets. Worthless mooks are easy enough to slice up and swap around, but someone with as much haki as Doflamingo would require a much greater investment of energy. Perhaps Law just doesn't have enough power to swap Doflamingo around a lot of times, which could be why he wanted to save that tactic for their finishing move, rather than the opening salvo in this fight.

At any rate, with the awesomeness of last chapter, things look to really be pushing forward, and I'm extremely excited and anticipating some really good fights. Here's to hoping that something awesome and unexpected will happen in each of the matchups so far.

dofla's parasite victims can still think/speak so i dont think it's mind control, more like a real string puppet, he control the body so i think it should work for dead body. dead bodies will get stiff though so maybe it'll harder for him to control it and so he prefers live body.

and given how sick dofla is, controlling people while they are screaming and crying must be satisfying for him.

Anyways, loved the chapter. I never felt any sympathy for Bellamy throughout the arc until this moment. Now I just feel bad for the guy. Not "I want him to be the next SH" bad, but still.

This was awesome. I was so excited, when that punch actually connected, I nearly jumped out of my trousers!
So, Doflamingo, probably the most charismatic character in the series, "the villain of the decade", who's just so awesome you cannot wait to see his ass kicked! And now, chapter 759, with nearly 500 chapters of history of hype and mystery we see the grin on his face being wiped off! It seems like just picture, drawn by an artist, but so much satisfaction it has! I'm genuinely excited. This is great.
