Finally back to the good ol days. Let us see if the spoiled newbies can handle it MUAHAHAHHAHAHAA
Well that's bit sad, but oh well. If it will always be friday then we just have to wait 2 days and then it's 7 days in between chapters like always :) I think we can all handle that…. right? Riiiiight? It's not that long, 2 days after the day the gift of OP was promised... and then always friday... always. .... friday.... not wednesday..... friday.... always......

-
how much would you guys pay for a spoiler right now?
Don't play with the feelings of a junky, you should know better!
-
This is madness!!
Give me the spoiler!!!
AAAA!!!
…
Nah, maybe later.
Actually, I'm enjoying this.. Everything is getting fun. What will happen next!? No more spoiler!?
-

Its gotten to the point where the chapter should be out now.
Friday spoilers andbsuch wouldbbe a pain because it makes it look like you are waiting longer.
If it came out on a monday i would feel better and it seems like a fresh week. Its just a mentality thing i have dunno bout everyone else
-
this is zoro's fault .. because he's lost :ninja:

!
Japan is taking no prisoners! Good shit, lol. https://twitter.com/Mangapandanet -
Everyone download all the chapters haha
-
I don't really understand how this whole scanning shit works. Which day is the issue released in Japan? Which day do they scan and more importantly, which day is Oda done with his chapters?

To my understanding, the mangaka are usually a couple of chapters ahead of the rest of us. Someone please correct me if I'm mistaken about that. Chapters that set to release officially on Monday's in Japan are usually leaked to us by these illegal scanlation groups on the Wednesday preceding it (5 days ahead of schedule).

Fallen comrade.
who's next?:ninja:

Well that should make sense, I wouldn't wanna work with deadlines from scratch. Thing is, Oda is sometimes ill and that week we usually don't get chapters. Maybe he really is a couple off weeks ahead, it's just that he don't want people to encroach the chapters he is currently sketching.

Jump comes out Mondays. They arrive to bookstores as early as previous Wednesdays, although that's about to change.
It takes about a week for the magazine to be put together for publication, and it ships a week ahead of published schedule.Which means, at the least the deadline has to be two weeks ahead of published schedule.
Every magazine is different, but I believe Jump is assumed to have 3 weeks ahead on deadline. As for stock… every artist is different. Some are always barely in time (and unfinished... yeah I'm looking at you Togashi), and some artists like Akimoto keeps a healthy stock of material ahead. Dunno about Oda, although I assume like most veterans, he keeps a couple of chapters of stock ahead.

So what is your theory about the breaks that Oda have? I mean, when he's sick, he doesn't release the chapter. Does that mean he don't want us to get to close to where he is or something else? And I agree with you, it wouldn't make sense for a sophisticated and strikingly handsome fellow like Oda-sensei ( note that I wrote this because I hope to work for him ) to be so shortsighted.

Well that would be funny, but I think after month or two most people would realise that something has changed…. or who knows maybe they won't >_<
-
So the chapter will be delayed.
Its okay I'm waiting -
All this spoiler talk…
THERE ARE NO RULES!

used to think the magazine gets published on wednesdays and that's how we get the chapters. Good to know its monday. Now whenever we get a chapter earlier than monday I'll be happy.
Recognise! -
hello .. newbie here .. nice to meet you all :D
-
Chapter is coming out on Friday? I can get used to it eventually. Remind me of the old days when I was in onemanga forum. Lol
-
so we will wait for another two days and then every chapter will be Friday ?
-
That makes me remember when i started reading the manga online, back in 2008. At this time i was reading mantas on onemanga.com and the Jump mangas was released at fridays…..Memories
-
Friday? That ain't too bad.
-
Hmm… Might do another parody of this situation using old one piece chapters lol

yeah i bet sneaky Mister Oda has the last Chapter allready finished and locked in his safe and just keeps us waiting :)
-
-
So we have gone back to the old days .
-
Well, if we've to wait for Friday is not so bad. Just 2 more days
As long as we keep getting spoilers
-
If the release date does permanently move to Fridays I have to say I'll miss that midweek mood booster that a Wednesday chapter brings…
-
He pulls it off well then X)
Actually he's 41. A SBS in volume 58 stated his age was 39, and that was pre-timeskip.
Oh, ok. The average Age of the Shichis is between 40 and 50. Moria was older iirc.
Is this shipping delay because Spoilers leak through the net so early or sth else?

Wednesday releases were so perfect for me. They helped to survive the start of the week.

Dark, I did not aware of this, I have just checked the Viz Manga but it forwards to Viz site. I could not find a way to purchase manga to view on web site. There are some apps, I have just tried VizManga app on Android but it says it is not available in Turkey. Is there a purchase type where I could view manga on web page not on an app.

Really? It's that cheap and I've been dealing with MP shitty scans all this time?

Due to the issues of international licensing, Vizmanga is currently only available in US and Canada (although their version of weekly shonen jump is available in other English speaking countries as well through certain apps). Though I've heard there are ways around this

Sometimes it's even cheaper around certain conventions. It doesn't have every jump series (and some series run n other magazines like jump square, and they even have One Punchman from tonari no young jump). It's great as a way to get quality versions of manga

Where exactly can I subscribe and read weekly chapters? And is the service available for canadians?

Yep. Us and Canada can subscribe from the viz manga site. Other English speaking countries can find details here http://shonenjump.viz.com/international-wsj-app

I've been waiting for this since CC stepped out, so many shitty translations and the worth one comes out a few days later which doesn't help much since people always misunderstand a message or something thanks to that MP and MS, but now thing can work out better.
