Wait, how do people bypass an IP ban? Do you have to move house or something?

By not having a static IP or simply changing it.
Yes..although ive always been lurking around…
One day you may realize that by being banned[perma, not temp] multiple times, mods try tell you that your presence is unwelcome.

You'd think that someone would take the hint but then every village needs an idiot.

Well Zephos/Monkey King was banned multiple times.

Wait, how do people bypass an IP ban? Do you have to move house or something?
There are programs that allow you to change your IP or make your IP change location every 30 secs or so. Don't do it If you don't have nothing to hide.
@desa:Well Zephos/Monkey King was banned multiple times.
MK is a different case though

Sometimes the anime is just so disconnected.
I was watching the anime scene of Violet showing Sanji the CP0 announcing that Doflamingo did not quit. All the toys were cheering.BUT
In the manga (chapter 712:Violet) the toys did not react at all. This goes in line with the fact that toys are actually slaves/enemies of Doflamingo.Give me another reason not to waste my time on the anime. Read manga, watch youtube fights.

You didn't realize this when they gave Hody Jones a backstory where he was attacked by humans, even though his entire purpose was blind hatred?
Or Hody actually being a legitimate threat. :ninja:

Well i see you as a simplistic moron. Hiding behind your screen.
I know the hint, but its a matter of i dont care what people think of me.
There's no hiding required - the screen and our words are all we have on a forum like this. What was it you were banned for? I seem to remember it had something to do with you being a homophobe.
But that's besides the point, and nothing to do with the thread topic. Going back to your original post, I've seen most of the calls you've made and there is nothing in them that I can see as being controversial so congratulations on spotting the blindingly obvious. It must be a comfort.

I'm not sure if I enjoy the way that Oda handled the Doflamingo family compared to the other villain groups in One Piece.
While I enjoy their character's (most of them)just as much as the other groups we've seen, some of them more I but still can't see them as much of a threat against the actual mission the strawhats are on. With Baroque Works they had the multi island build up and they came close to completing their goal and CP9 is self explainable and even in Arlong Park they seemed like a roadblock and one unit but with the Doflamingo Family I feel like they've just been thwarted and wrecked ever since punk hazard or havent had enough spotlight on them or an opportunity to be threatening as one unit.Unrelated but do you think we'll see what Bellamy did on Skypeia?
-
Unrelated but do you think we'll see what Bellamy did on Skypeia?
Dunno, but I guess he just was as oblivious as the Strawhats (minus Robin) to the fact that the Skypeians actually wanted to give away their treasures.

So how many more chapters are we expecting, before this arc ends?
-
I would say around 30
-
20-25 at the very least. We still have Law's flashback, which, after all the hype I expect to take at least 2-3 chapters of the story, we also fights, which didn't even begin, whilst some are going rather slow (Pink vs Franky), and Luffy (and Law) vs Doflamingo is going to take a lot of chapters.

Hopefully Oda allows himself to let the arc last as long as it needs to for all the pieces to fall in place and all fights to settle without nothing being rushed, skipped or glossed over. Id rather have a good 100 chapter arc that drags a little in the middle than a mediocre 60 chapter arc with rushed fights and dropped story elements. If it keeps the same pace i say we might be in for 20-30 more chapters to cover all flashbacks, answer all the questions and get the battles over with.

Do you think Oda is going to devote alot of ink on sabo vs Fujitora or do you think it will be abruptly interrupted? we could be in for a real treat there.

I expect 35 at least.

With sugar returning and all i think Dressrosa will be written as a bit of a two-phase arc. First phase is the setup with riku and becca, colusseum, law vs doffy and operation SOP, and it ended with Sugar getting KOd and Sabo winning the Mera Mera fruit triggering the war. The second phase is the birdcage and all out war, featuring all the big smackdowns and flashbacks that answers the questions raised early on such as laws past and some of doffys backstory with corazon. Maybe even the implied importance and value of monumoske will be explained. Dont be surprised if each phase has about the same amount of chapters. Heck i wouldnt be surprised if The Sunny makes it back to Dressrosa before the Arc is over. It even kinda makes sense, it would be wierd to picture the strawhats leaving dressrosa on any other boat. When was the last time the SHs navigated anywhere on the seas without Nami and her log pose :)?
-
I think it's pretty safe to assume that we're in for the long haul with this arc, for sure. Granted, a lot of the set-up is basically out of the way at this point, save for Law's flashback and Mansherry's significance to Doflamingo, but there are a lot of Family Officers still left kicking (and even Sugar is back up on her feet now). So we're at the point where the Officers are finally ready to be defeated. My guess is that Dressrosa will come to a close sometime in early 2015, assuming that by the end of 2014 that we only get up to Chapter 772 or so.
My only wish list for 2014 as far as the arc is concerned is that we finally see Doflamingo get hit by an attack that actually visibly damages him. He's managed to get by throughout the entire series completely unphased (save for the tiny scratch that Law gave him, but I don't count that since Doffy clearly wasn't affected by it at all), so when we get the inevitable double-page spread of him getting dealt a strong blow I'll be really satisfied. Crossing my fingers for it to be Luffy punching him square in the face and finally breaking his glasses so we can see his eyes.

I so completely agree. Just the mere thought of it lets my blood boil! I so cannot wait til it finally happens!

Trebol: YOU SHALL NOT PASS!
Luffy: …............
Law: …...........
Trebol: What are you waiting for ?
Law: Oï! Strawhat-ya! Don't forget why you're here!
Luffy: Ah!? You want me to say it first, that's unusual! Well then..GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU TRAW! I WILL BE HEADING FOR DOFFY WHILE YOU TAKE CARE OF THIS GUY!
Law: WTF?! You stay here to fight Trebol and I take care of Doflamingo!
Luffy: Eeeeeh?! But I'm the captain, I always get to fight the boss!
Law: What about me?! Do you think that I let Bepo do all the fights ?
Luffy: But I really want to kick Mingo's ass!
Law: Yeah me to. But my reasons are far deeper than yours.
Luffy: Ah really, looks like I have no choice…
Law: Yes, I owe you …
BAM!Trebol: Why did you punch him ? Now you have to fight both Doffy and me. You will never have enough stamina!
Luffy: 16 chars of Blueno!

Honestly, what the hell are CP0 even up to. It almost seems like Oda forgot about them. I even forgot about them until I was going through some youtube videos.

They have any obligation to do anything until Doflamingo's life is at risk.

Maybe they'll kidnap Law or something at the end of the arc; I can't really see him staying with the Straw Hats much longer.
-
It was my interpretation that CP0 just came and went with the news that Doffy was still a Warlord and that the previous news was fake. Plus there's so much going on in this arc right now anyway that we really don't need yet another factor coming in and making things crazier. I'd rather resolve everything on Dressrosa in its current state. Because if you think about it, we still have all of these plot points to resolve:
-Franky vs Senor Pink, and Franky destroying the SMILE Factory
-Zoro vs Pica
-Kyros vs Diamante
-Leo and Cub rescuing Mansherry, finding out about what makes Mansherry a key factor in Doflamingo remaining in power
-Trebol vs whomever fights him
-Sabo vs Fujitora, even though I don't see this fight having a true victor and probably ending in a stalemate
-Colosseum Fighters vs Misc Donquixote Family (and for the sake of it, I'll throw Robin, Bartolomeo and Cavendish into this category)
-Usopp and his group, who are now being ambushed by citizens
-Law and Doflamingo's flashback
and last but not least,
-Luffy vs DoflamingoWe already have enough stuff to anticipate, now is the time for payoff.
-
… Heh. I just wonder...
How is everyone that doesn't know about Doflamingo's deal with Yonkou going to react to being placed rather high on his list of people to kill?
-

Don't forget the Momonosuke mystery. Sanji is having his own battle right now I think.
Speaking of which how is that gonna end up playing out? Oda has to tie it in at some point before Dofla yeah?
-
I'm pretty certain that the Momonosuke stuff will come into play after Doflamingo has been taken out. Most likely during the Wano Arc, because I'm one of the people assuming that Wano will be the arc where Kaido is the main antagonist. It just seems like the best way to wrap up the plot threads of both the Pirate Alliance's original plans and the samurai that we've been introduced to.

How come?
They're still in an alliance, they're heading to the same places and they have a common enemy after this is through.

Hmm, don't see that happening, but I agree with Law going his own way after this arc, for now atleast. The next supernovas are going to get attention for the rest of the arcs anyways.
Then there's Cesar, Vegapunk needs to arrive so that they can dump him. -

Imagine if Oda never writes the final chapter.
instead, he will announce, that he left it all at that 'one place'.
now we must find that boy.
-
I'm not really enjoying this thicker line style that Oda's been starting the use in this latter half of Dressrosa.
-
Really? I think it looks really good, especially in the stuff with Pica

Anyone interested in where Gladius is going to end up? He's a pretty good fighter, but now that his backup's down Robin AND two Captains seems like it'd be overkill. I still hope he gets a good fight though.

Somebody might come aid Gladius or Cavendish will move to the palace since he's all glory and fame type of dude

Or both. Maybe Dellinger can try to get a rematch. Although I'm not sure what Caven would be doing for the rest of the arc.

Gladius strikes me as the strongest of the lower executives, but I really doubt he can take on Barto, Robin and Cavendish by himself. A fight against Robin alone would be the coolest and maybe Cabbage and Barto can focus on something else in the meantime. At the same time I think the other executives are really locked in battle with the stronger Colosseum guys and won't be able to come to his rescue. Though I don't see them lasting long against Don Chinjao.
-
Robin and Barty seem like a good offense/defense combo, so I'm more concerned as to what'll keep Cabbage occupied.
The strongest lower Execs are probably Gladius and Lao G; the latter, last we saw, was keeping up with Chinjao.
-

The only one I can see coming for Gladius' aid is Baby 5, but only because she's from the same team as him. And teamwork is supposedly one of their strengths.

It is? Wasn't that related to the fighting squad?
I hope it won't be her or I would spend my time wondering if it going to be some fanservice battle. -

Really, Buffalo and Baby 5 should be enough proof.

The Doffy pirates are my favorite villain group since CP9, and I hope they put in a good showing. The thing that has me most hopeful is that Franky is actually struggling with Señor Pink, making it seem likely the others will put up a fight too.

The only reason Franky is struggling with Pink is because he's on his last leg
-
So we have at the moment:
-Robin & Cavendish & Barto vs Gladius (obviously they have to split up or some more Execs have to join in)
-Franky vs Senor Pink (final fight)
-Don Chinjao vs Lao G (could be the final fight)
-Hajruddin vs Machvise (dont know, I can see Machvise winning here)
-Sao vs. Baby 5 (could be final, I dont see Baby 5 getting another larger fight)
-Dellinger ???? (I cant remember who was his last opponent, wasnt that Sao as well?)That would mean that either Dellinger or/and Machvise could join Gladius potentially.
I also am not really sure if Law will fight Trebol. Maybe Law and Luffy will both fight Dofla or he takes him out (triggering his flashback) and Trebol could face Cavendish or Barto. And then we still have Burgess somewhere and maybe Oda will give him some hype back by defeating one of the Execs or one in the anti-Dofla group. -
I can't really see Machvise losing after Hajrudin was so thoroughly de-hyped by Luffy. We still don't know what his powers are, after all. Or why Dellinger grew a fin out of his back, for that matter.
